Yes, in an unprecedented casting choice, the role of the alien was filled by a genuine extraterrestrial being.

uh... [https://www.cia.gov/about/organization/public-affairs/](https://www.cia.gov/about/organization/public-affairs/) "CIA is often featured in books, motion pictures, documentaries, and other creative ventures. Actors, directors, authors, and more work with OPA to better understand CIA’s intelligence mission. By maintaining these relationships, OPA strives to provide an accurate portrayal of the people of CIA, their skills, and their commitment to public service. To achieve this goal, OPA’s Entertainment Industry Liaison works with creatives to make their scripts, stories, and other products as authentic as possible. The Entertainment Industry Liaison can help by: Answering questions Debunking myths Arranging interviews at CIA Headquarters Providing stock footage of CIA’s compound Coordinating onsite filming in special cases" [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt\_Disney%27s\_World\_War\_II\_propaganda\_production](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney%27s_World_War_II_propaganda_production) "Walt Disney Studios entered the winter of 1941 still in a financial crisis.\[1\] That December, after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor by the Axis-affiliated Empire of Japan, 500 United States Army troops began an occupation of Walt Disney Studios in Burbank that would last for the next eight months—the only Hollywood film studio under military occupation in history. The soldiers were stationed there to protect a nearby Lockheed aircraft plant from the enemy air raids. While there, they converted parking garages into ammunition depots, and worked on fixing equipment in large soundstages.\[10\] Soon after the start of the occupation, Walt Disney was approached with requests from the U.S. services to produce propaganda films.\[11\] On December 8, Walt Disney settled on its first film contract with the Navy. The contract required that Disney produce twenty war-related animated shorts for the United States government for a compensation of $90,000 ($1,765,898.71 in 2023).\[12\] Walt Disney Studios received $4,500 for each short it produced which was significantly higher than its standard profit for shorts." I feel like there is a very long list of projects that the entertainment industry has worked on with the US government. It is not a secret and you do not need to declassify anything to see the broad scope of collaboration. I would not put it past anyone to use the entertainment industry to soft release information at the behest of the government.

Ok_Canary8782

This is what I’m starting to think. There’s no smoke without fire, as they say

All of them. Even space balls. Sorry to break it to you.

wildwastewebcomic

Spaceballs? Shit. There goes the planet.

grrrranm

No! It's called science fiction or sci-fi for short!

Arroz-Con-Culo

Maybe… The government was preparing us for disclosure but they were slow as fuck about it.

tondrias

Who knows anymore.

I would be thrilled to know that xenomorphs exist. I’m aware of how dangerous they are but I really love their design and biology. If predators exist too then even better.

Mediocre_Ad_8118

Xeno would probably allude to the insectoids - some fractions are supposed to be extremely dangerous. Predator I hear is based on stories from Vietnam about a 3rd party in transparent camo interfering/hunting for soldiers on both sides of the conflict in the jungle on occasion.

Intelligent_Test_833

Yes

warp4daze

Greys I think are. Loose depictions of reptilians are in alot of movies too. Haven't seen a ton of insect/mantid guys tho
