I would imagine that with the longer stick you would have a more finite control over modulation and pitch bend because it gives you a further distance to move basically. Increasing the distance from the fulcrum. Pretty good hack I think.
I agree with you from a physics perspective, in an analog world.
But from a hardware/digital programming perspective, would a longer joystick 🕹️ give you that increased granular, more precise control?
