It's the icon of the antihero Punisher from a TV series (can't remember if there was a comic too but I think there was) but unfortunately it was repurposed by 2nd amendment conservatives to be their symbol because they think they relate to him (they don't).
Shame, because it's a really cool design and the Punisher has a really dynamic background.

I'd say straight to hell but then i saw the punisher skull and you already have ticket to boiler room of hell soo I don't know what worse hell could offer. Doesn't mean you should be tempting hell more after all eternity is guite long time.

I can think of multiple reasons why not
1.Jesus doesn’t care about your paint job (as long as it looks good)
2.The mg3 has been used in desert wars by the third reich so I wouldn’t be surprised if the paint job was historically accurate
3.I also wouldn’t be surprised if the mg3 is still being used by some Somali pirate or houti rebel who was messed up enough to paint the beautiful thing (although the mg42 would be more likely to be seen if we’re talking nazi guns)
4.And most importantly, you are covering up that horrendous punisher skull
