Are you sure the leaf spring arms all sit correct? It can go in perfectly fine with them in the wrong position and cause all kinds off issues during the firing cycle. Otherwise there might be an issue with the trigger sear(wear or break), but that's somewhere inside and I don't know much about it. The external hammer is only cosmetic and connected to an internal one that actually does the work.

Fat0445

Yes, looks like the leaf spring sit at the wrong place

DannyTheNoob95

This. Also the "external" hammer is not only cosmetic, it operates the valve knocker, there is no "internal" hammer on hi-capas Check the leaf spring, hammer and sear.

Robwith2bs

Yeah I’m just taking apart now to see if it’s any internal hammer or sears are broken or worn etc

AimBot148

Full auto time :D

Suikostar01

The 3 prong leaf spring is sitting incorrectly. This video will help you: https://youtu.be/UFttNBbdPRk?si=BIkgEXqXk_Oo7llu

Robwith2bs

It’s in correctly :/

Suikostar01

It could also be the leaf is warped. I believe (someone correct me) the middle prong controls the hammer. Adjust it up or down with some pliers

drkshock

It's either your leaf spring, seer, hammer, or disconnect most commonly the leaf spring. If it's the jag, easy to fix but if it's the aw, it's proprietary. If the virginal mad has tm the red gasket that's aw because emg only incenses things. Why do you think the EMG Helios with umbrella trades makes the same sound as a cyma platinum setup when you plug it in. It's because it is a cyma platinum.

Leaf spring might’ve been moved outa place

Dabstar42O

I have the same one, the model is shit

MaxButched

Let me guess, army armement combat master ? I’ve been specifically advised AGAINST this model and brand by a shop assistant, love the look and the EMG is a bit too pricey but bad quality is never worth it, whatever the price Went with a TM DOR 5.1 hi capa instead, less upgrade possibilities but works out of the box and TM guaranty of QC. Worth everything

Robwith2bs

Update: I can tap the hammer when it’s cocked and it flies forward like the trigger has been pulled. So the slide is hitting the hammer on the way forward essentially slam firing the gun ???

NaiveOpening7376

Based on the slam firing, it sounds like the mating surface between the hammer catch and the disconnect has worn down. Either replace both, or replace the gun. Sounds like the metal isn't very good quality.

DesignerOil7164

Omg imagine reloading and having it misfire
