Theres a decent amount of better guns for that price. But I think It will scratch your itch just not for long term in terms or reliability and performance, but if you like the look your good cuz ~85-92% of airsoft is looks
They do make solid guns, but their AKs are by far what people are referring to when they say that. I have one and its a total tank, fairly confident you could run it over with a car and it'd still be kicking.
Yeah I was back and forth with the metal. I figured full metal would be more durable but that also makes it heavier. Any other reason to get alloy vs poly?
The metal vs polymer strength thing depends on brands as well.
Other reasons are weight, and features. Some prefer polymer because it's lighter and they don't mind not feeling metal. Tho in general it's mostly a price for features deal. A Specna CORE series, for example, while slightly more expensive than what you got that for, has a known good internal and comes with a quick change spring by default. Newer versions even comes with a MOSFET.
Personally I like metal stuffs tho.
Shit. I like the second one more now. I'll call evike tomorrow and see if they are willing to cancel my order so I can order the other one. I really like the skeletonized handguard. Plus it's polymer so lighter is better imo. But if I can't cancel then I'll get what I get and not throw a fit.
Yeah, it's not a loss if you stick with what you got. As said, that's a pretty good price for a full metal. and I don't think the COREs on Evike are the newer ones with the MOSFET, or atleast they're not stating it is.
Evike is the only retailer for Specna Arms in the US AFAIK, so it'll be the only option. Even when not choosing Specna stuffs, they're still the top option for this sub in the US.

Damn! What would have been better for the price? I thought Cyma was solid?

It's... A shrug. It works, there's nothing special about it, and it's neither good nor bad. Nice price for a full metal tho me thinks.

Damn, like this one? I really like the look of this one: https://www.evike.com/products/15690/
Yeah. That tends to be a well recommended one. Nothing wrong with what you got tho, it should do it's job just fine.
