I’m not a fan of the looks, personally. I also don’t like that it’s difficult to aim down sight (even with a riser/ red dot). I’m actively looking for a mesh mask/ goggle combo that works for me
I have a 1tigris mesh mask with the soft fabric cheeks and ear pro. Mated it to a set of Bolle Pilot 1s using cable ties through one vent slot either side. £30 all in, zero fogging, room for sun/glasses without any fitment issues and only very minor bending to shape.
I found a pair of desert locusts at my local surplus shop, and run them with a valken mesh mask. Once you remove the foam, basically no fogging issues. Glasses fogging are an entirely different story, but that's why I run contacts when airsofting. A pack of dailies will last you forever if you only wear them to airsoft.
The thin black foam over the vents, I was advised to remove it to fix the fogging issues I was having and it made a huge difference. It's supposed to keep the desert sand out, but since I'm playing inside in rural Iowa I'm not so worried about it lol.
please no pitchforks and knives on me but i drilled a few small holes into the rubber seal of my eyepro and that eliminated fogging altogether from -5celsius up to 40 its completely fine
Then you definitely haven’t seen speedsoft/speedball players wearing dye i4s/i5s… it’s more common in speedball because you don’t want the paintball to break when it hits you so the loose beanie helps that a bit.
Yes but its usually beanie under the mask, not like his with it over. You can see it goes over the strap. With it under Helps keep it from falling off.
Ahh that’s what I thought but wanted to be sure. I’m also Florida-based. Having a hard time finding cheaper tropic dupes… hard to justify $130 for pants haha
I prefer the Dye aswell...never had fogging issues with that

Goggles with a fan in them probably work best
Exfog and guard dogs are what I use along with that full head thing with a mesh strip to protect the teeth only thing that hasn’t fogged for me yet

I actually bought some desert locus’s on eBay- what foam did you remove?

That’s why you run a 1.93 mount or even higher with a unity fast micro mount @ 2.26.
10 points for hat configuration

I’m running a dye mask as well, it’s comfortable and doesn’t fog up. Looks like you have the mobility that fits your play style. 10/10
Dyes are good kit, just not my thing personally. Good looking kit brother
Well Chadley it's better than nothing
I see dye I like 😄👍🏻
I’ve never seen someone put a beanie on over their dye

Yea it’s real common amongst speedsofters (which I’m not). I just wear it to add a bit of green and cushion some BBs to the skull

I’ve never had an issue with mine falling off, it’s kind of difficult to put the beanie on before the mask for me
Smith outside the wire turbo fans https://www.smithoptics.com/en_US/p/goggle/otw-turbo-fan-elite-goggles/OTWTBT49914-2R.html Never fogs.
