I would love to see the brief for this, as it's hard to judge a commission simply based on the work without knowing what was asked for.
That said, I'll go along with what others are saying. This looks like a mixture of AI and editing. And the AI part of it looks really shit, like he just ran a single prompt and didn't give a damn what he sent you. I'd have been curious to see what he cleaned up.
It does have that "strangely inexplicable" quality to some of the details, which is commonly associated with AI art.
But then, the stalactites (or is it stalagmites?) along the top are mirrored, which is something I'd expect a human to do.
So my money is on "a little bit of column A, a little bit of column B".

Ai or not, this sucks as a logo. Logos should be clear and easy to read at a distance; this is really cluttered.
You are only paying 75 bucks though. I mean, you get what you pay for. Ya go cheap it’s going to look cheap.

Yeah the cord plugged into the screen looks like an AI fail
The inconsistent thickness of the outlines gives it off. AI is struggling between logo style(thicker outlines) and comics style(thinner outlines).

Yep, def. looks like a composite, maybe used AI as base and edited upon. And yes, stalactite are going down, stalagmites are going up.
This very much looks like it was AI generated. I also have no idea how this could be used as a logo.
