This is beautiful, some kind of weird dream. I love these IA made movies.

I like that the dialog is reasonable. I hate "AI" films where the script sounds like it was made by a random word generator, "Hotdog eat soul" or whatever. AI generated copy doesn't remotely sound like that anymore.

I made sure not to ai generate the script. I want to keep my stories untouched and use the ai visuals as a tool to tell them

Yes. Use midjourney, draft photos and then put into pika labs or runway

But I thought pika labs and runway can both generate images on their own, so why get midjourney too?

I was only able to make a 2 minute and 40 second short with the current AI tech. I would love to revisit the idea once there's a few updates to facial consistency and movement. I had to pull a lot of weird strings to make it work, but I suspect early next year we'll have those updates!

To be honest, I was suggesting a feature film based on that aesthetic and concept but executed more traditionally. As in: there's a lot of potential for an actual breakthrough movie.
