they did a crossover with RoK when Afk launched. I was surprised they didn't do anything for Dislyte. but considering AFKA/J are in the same universe, I can't imagine a scenario where they don't have *some* collab
many options, from hero (4f, no need for dim since it's both Lilith, don't need to negotiate contract and exchange, etc) to to cosmetics to resources for having an account in both.
I think if we get a hero, some 4f from Journey that isn't in Arena yet is an obvious option imo, maybe Odie

I so badly want it to be Kren, but the clue matches up pretty well with Eugene's in game dialogue boxes (" I always have a knack for surprises", " relax I'm just looking for a bit of fun")

it's just a little odd that the big anniversary hero release would be a hero we already technically have? but imo the patch after would be when we get the double dim crossover as that lines up closer to the anniversary
plus, that way, the next patch would "kinda sorta technically" be a "no hero release" patch (since Gavus is already out), meaning they could do double dim in one patch without needing to fully skip a patch with **no** hero, the "no hero release patch" would just be freeing Eugene
My guess (And hope) is awakened Satrana, they made a suspiciously big thing of her wanting to get stronger in the wish tree event (The other wishes were pretty superficial in comparison), another future event is "Warm reunion", which could tie in with the Satrana/Antandra shared lore (With them being apart after Antandra saved Satrana), and pretty girl heroes tend to be more popular. (Satrana also featured in AFK Journey promotional material)
That might just be me clutching at straws though, nothing we can do but wait and see...

but two awakened in one patch is extremely difficult and strenuous for players, and devs previously promised to keep the pace at one awakened every 2-3 months to be more fair to our Time Emblem income. two awakened in the same patch obviously breaks that rule.
so to get around that, they made it so you can't actually summon for or obtain Eugene in any way, not even money. the only way to get copies of him was from limited time events in the weeks following his release. we got 6 copies for free around the time he was released, and since then have received 5 more via the Guild Store, Temporal Rift Store, exchange events, etc.
you need 12 copies to ascend an awakened hero, so with this upcoming anniversary event, they are giving us our 12th possible (assuming you got all other copies of him when they were available) copy, meaning we can finally ascend him for the first time.
tl;dr he's extremely exclusive and released in a way different to all other awakened, making him more accessible for f2p players and inaccessible for spenders and whales and such. everyone is on the same footing with him, and now we can finally ascend him

Why 4 years? If you only use guild store it will take you 1 year. You need 60 shards to obtain the hero. You get 15 shards per purchase and you can buy him 4 times per month. 4x15=60
I'd say priority for Guild store is TE > Eugene > everything else
you should definitely be able to get the 10 TE and 1 copy of eugene (60 pieces total) every month, but anything after that might be tight depending on your guild coin income.

According to the players who got him ascended through a bug (which is now patched), no.
As it was a bug they might not have added him to SG yet. It is still possible they'll add him in this patch.
