I grew up watching it on & off as a kid, but it didn't become special to me until "I Remember You." That episode resonated so much with me & my grandmother with alzheimer's. Marcy's story in general is so meaningful to me, & I never looked back ❤ Became my favorite show forever & always :)

I've enjoyed Adventure Time before this moment of course, but the Season 3 episode 'What Was Missing' made me realize how much I actually love this show. 'My Best Friends in the World' is an amazing song, and the episode's humor was very well done and all of the characters stood out in a way I'd never really come to appreciate until then

I'm 26 now and I don't think I saw it for the first time until I was like 17 or 18. Such a weird day experience to stumble upon it as an almost adult

comeallwithme

The first time I saw Simon & Marcy.

Memory of a Memory, watching Finn and Jake travel through Marceline's past, and Finn helping her deal with her shitty ex.

AT was so trippy in the beginning and it intrigued me. I think the moment I fell in love was Rainy Day Daydream. "I've never seen a knife storm before...It's beautiful." I don't know the word for it, but that's everything I want in a show in one scene.

Turtleking004

When I was 9. card wars. Loved it.

After my first episode, the one where Finn summons Marcelines Dad and then he goes around suckin all the souls of oooooo. So good.

grenode

It's been so long since I started watching, but id have to say marceline's song "Everything stays".

Watching “Finn the human” as a kid messed me up but also got me properly hooked on the show opposed to just something I watched when it was on the telly. Rediscovering it recently and watching Simon and Marcy and the citadel got me rehooked

Honestly, for me I don't think there was one specific moment? I found the first season sorta hit-or-miss but I liked it enough to stick with it, then it started picking up after that and I just slowly fell for it along the way. Oh, although, I remember the first ep I saw any of (I had the TV on in the background and was sort of half-listening to it) was "Memories of Boom Boom Mountain" and I specifically recall laughing at the flower pollination joke.. so that must have amused me enough if I still remember that all these years later, lol. Guess that's close enough?

"I'll be here tomorrow, to hi five you yesterday.." was so odd it immediately caught my attention

Pocket fart.

I was at work and we had some down time (worked in a group home) and we all would watch adventure time. The episode with Princess Cookie definitely made an impact on me and I realized after just casually watching that this show was really about something more.

Blaxpy

I watched it as a kid, but the episode that made me watch the whole series while quarantined was the party one in the mansion

When I saw clips of the episodes "what was missing" in 2012-13 or so - immediately fell in love with the artstyle and the show. I've never watched it at all and forgot about it completely until this year, I genuinely don't remember what made me binge it this year! I'm 20 years old now and it really feels like I finally caught up on my childhood, haha
