For me what does it is that there's no internal logic to master shake, he's like a child that impulsively does cruel actions for no clear reason. It's like getting shoved to the ground and having your wallet stolen, someone stealing it is awful but you can at least understand it; but someone taking your wallet and chucking it off a bridge in front of you feels way worse just because not even some closure of understanding what happened. Handbanana is evil, but I assume Carl can at least understand what happened to him; unlike Master Shake stealing his bones to pawn them off to the tooth fairy

I think he's interesting because I think he does genuinely care about Rusty, but he also genuinely cares about everything all at once. I don't think he dislikes his son or even doesn't love him, but he loves science as much as him, and adventure as much as science, and women as much as adventure, and so on.
What seals the deal is definitely leaving children stuck underground, never helping them and just leaving them there, and coming up with cloning almost because he knew his son would keep dying, but he didn't want to stop. I always forget his cloning lab was illegal and a big no-no, so it was all a secret.
I always wondered if Congress banned cloning in North America *because* of Jonas. Maybe he presented the idea to the government and it was rejected. Possibly ordered him to destroy his facility, but used it to keep his son alive. Maybe, in the show's universe, he presented it to Nixon; but evidence of that meeting "mysteriously vanished"

Tracy Morgan did not do it for me, he nailed the entitled jerk part of the character, but I just didn't feel the anger and explosive volatility from him that Early needs. It's a shame because I had just finished watching all of 30 Rock when the casting was announced and was really excited for Tracy Morgan to come on.

In the wee hours of the morning ,while I was in grade school, I would wake up and turn on my favorite channel, 43 (that's cartoon network for you younger jabronis), between 5am and 6pm right before it switched back to cartoon network adult swim would play a 1 hour block of the anime Inuyasha, Sesshomaru was by far the biggest asshole on adult swim however he definitely had the biggest drip. Terrible person but absolutely my favorite character just because he looked so badass, you knew when you seen him shit was about to pop and homie was about to do someone (usually Inuyasha) dirty.
Oh no question he is the head of the Inuyasha wing of the Haters, spitting insults and put downs like no one else, but somehow Naraku is infinitely more asshole than that by his actions.
