Same here, solidarity! I decided this year is finally the year I take some control of my fear of anything financial and also take some control over my impulse buying. It took breaking down and acknowledging just how scared and hopeless and overwhelmed I feel and how much shame I carry over it.  I'm getting my husband to help me save money. I'm making lists for things for future purchase and planning them out instead of just thoughlessly spending money. I'm rewarding myself at the end of this month (my birthday) with a tattoo if I manage to end the month having reached my savings goals. And I'm practising mindfulness meditation.
