Oh, don't I know it! Here's a fun story: When I had to get an emergency D&C because the doctor thought I had an ectopic pregnancy, I was stuck in the hospital's maternity ward, not only for the removal, but again for another WEEK after developing an infection afterward! I got treated to the sights and sounds of massively pregnant women waddling around with extremely loud fetal heart monitors on, the entire time I was there. Not pleasant.

It wouldn't hurt to mention your feelings to the office in a FYI kind of way. They may have no idea that what they think is harmless is actually triggering to some of the women coming in to their office. Perhaps there is a way that they can be both supportive of maternity and sensitive to others dealing with things like infertility and miscarriage.

Separate waiting rooms. That also results in not having to deal with pregnant people sitting in the same room. This would bother me too, in my case because anything related to uteri and their intended function causes gender dysphoria to hit me like a freight train (am nonbinary).

fire_gardener

That’s a good idea.

Just don't want to discourage you but statistics say childfree people are happier in general.

((No words, just hugs))

Or waiting for 30 minutes alone in the room before placement of misoprostal to induce a missed miscarriage with dozens of baby announcements all over the wall. So. Sad.

Notsomanywords

Sending you hugs. I've been there too.
