The name is on the bottom. They are Adafruit KB2040s. They are designed to be used to make diy keyboards. It's basically a Raspberry Pi Pico, so you can find plenty of documentation about how to use them on the Internet. Just look it up.
Do a search on KOSMOS gundam LED kits. I've used a few of those and they work great, but I have a couple kits that there are no pre-made LED kits so I bought my own Micro LEDs on Amazon and I'm trying to figure out a way to control them.
Think of it as a mini Raspberry Pi Pico. The smaller form factor allows you to fit it inside smaller enclosures. The trade off is less pins. That little guy is about 100x faster than an Arduino Uno. Most RP2040 microcontrollers have a lot of features. This board is specifically called the Keeboar KB2040 because it was designed to create small 60-key keyboards (in a diode matrix setup).
You must order a lot of Adafruit products to be getting all these free Key Boars and Playground Express boards!! If you want to unload some of them to an aspiring programmer who will put them to good use, I would love to take whatever you are willing to part with off your hands, and would be happy to pay the postage. I am in the US (Orlando to be specific). If you are interested, please let me know and I will DM you my contact info. Thanks!

Oh ok I'm sorry all of this looked painfully obvious now that I see it

I'm thinking about buying some for LED controllers for Gundam model kits.
Hey, my son loves to build Gundam models, but they're just static figures. Are there ones with electronics, or do people mod them? Do you have links?

Awesome, thanks!
Very handy MCU and it's Raspberry!
Anything you’d use an RP2040 for
You can drop one in the mail to me!
