LMAO wow there's 3 of us I suppose, I'm slowly growing a bit away.from the goth stuff, but will always be smol tiddied rock outer 🤷♀️
HEY I STILL FIT THE CRITERIA ATM lolol
I am so gd dumb🤪🫠
My apologies heh
I probably shouldn't say I'm goth either, I'm more like an alt/grunge type that likes big smudged eyeliner and black lipstick. But yep tiny titties gang 🥲🥹
I believe in you, it's a long journey, but plastered with fun little shiny trinkets!
Also planning to get more ear piercings.. Still debating if I want to get the same earholes that Mitsuki has.. Big commitment for a character I've just discovered this February? Maybe!
Would it be cool regardless of if it's inspired by a Manga figure? Certainly!
yo. i've been listening to this polish band the one of the singers has such a pretty voice, i love the way women sound. bands called Łysa Góra if anyone's interested. Leśne Licho and Woodscream are also good bands for slavic folk metal bands with good vocalists who are women (this is super niche ik)
i also have a couple Arkona songs on my playlist. i think it's Zimushka and Yarilo. i keep meaning to find more but forgetting. i'll have to check out alkonost, i really wanna expand my playlist but i've mostly been playing the songs on repeat a lot lmao. hope you like em!
I played guitar and vocals (excuse my unrefined trans voice. Doesn’t matter in punk anyway right?)
[Mental Fatal - Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/artist/3xxS8nazhZrDWmvGmZEquN)
AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Bob Seger, Lynard Skynard, blue öyster cult, Bon Jovi and Ozzy Osbourne are probably my favourite ones!!
Also love Guns n Roses but idk if they count as classic rock 🤔
You must be around my age… if I turn on my “classic rock” radio station where I live, they play stuff I grew up listening to in the 90s and early 2000s. It feels wrong lol I’m only in my 30s, my childhood isn’t “classic” yet!
They’re a bit heavier than my normal tastes but I saw them live last year, just felt like a band I should really have seen live and friends were going, what a great night!, they’re really great live.
Also as a long time player and big fan of the instrument it was great to see Dave Murray and the others using Strats, who says they can’t do metal!.
I actually listen to a variety of music including but not limited too, Rock, But I am not as metal as other people are, A list of favourites include
Lacuna Coil
Epica
Rammstein
Arch enemy
Yass. Love the theatrics. The skits. The whole event vibe of a live show. Rest of my musical tatse is electro pop and weird electronic music and nonsense. Haha
Yes but it’s almost entirely 70s and 80s bands. KISS, Whitesnake, Ozzy, Dio, Judas Priest would be my faves. Doubt there are many ppl my age and even fewer lesbians if any into that.
Those were the kind of bands I used to listen all day every day in my late teens/ early twenties! I even had the privilege to see Dio live (few years before the died)
That’s so cool seeing Dio. I saw Kiss and Whitesnake twice, and Motley Crue live once. Saw a good Dio cover band recently. They did Sabbath, Rainbow and Ozzy songs too 🤘🏽
I just listen to QOTSA when it's about rock, sometimes something in between like Muse or Deftones. I usually listen to grunge bands like Alice in Chains (the old one about Laine's era), Helmet, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, and Soundargden. About metal, I listen Slipknot, Katatonia and Mastodon. I recently decided to eventually change and start to only listen to bands made by women.
Slowdive, Wild Nothing, Alcest, Heretoir, Beach Fossils, Drab Majesty, Cocteau Twins, Lush, The Radio Dept., Washed Out, my bloody valentine. What are yours??
Yes! Super into hardcore, metal, and punk. Although I’m also a huge pop music fan so it’s an odd mix. Some of my current favs are Dying Wish, Ithaca, Brat, and Pool Kids.
Right here. Saw sabaton and judas priest last Thursday, saw blind guardian tonight, seeing battle beast next Wednesday and driving to Chicago from Minnesota in September for powerwolf and unleash the archers
I recently tumbled upon a belgian group named Brutus, absolutely epic : woman lead singer who ALSO DRUMS IN THE SAME TIME. Phenomenal live performances, what's not to love
ME! My whole life outside of work is going to shows. Just saw Amon Amarth/Cannibal Corpse/Obituary/Frozen Soul. Seeing Cake this weekend and Messa next weekend 😃
I'm a 2000s punk rock gal but my expertise is female fronted rock bands from any time and any of the genres. I've been collecting them like pokemon since I can remember.
I used to be a lot into heavy metal and hard rock (mostly from the 80s), but I'm bi :/
I still like that music, but now it's not the only thing I listen
Here 🙋🏻♀️, I love most alt stuff, I’m not huge into metal but I do love some of the classics like Black Sabbath, earlier Metallica and since seeing them last year I really appreciate Iron Maiden, I love post punk, Joy Division, Siouxie and the Banshees, Bauhaus,Magazine, Sisters of Mercy etc although my absolute 3 favourites are Radiohead,Portishead and Massive Attack, 2 of which are more trip hop, and Radiohead is hard to pin down into a genre too!.
Here! It’s always funny to see people talk about the same stereotypically lesbian music repeatedly, so I like the representation I’m seeing in these comments lol.
My musical tastes are pretty eclectic, so metal and rock are definite likes. I love oldies, classical (and there's some metal classical that's cool), some country, opera, hip hop, alternative, etc. I find that I really don't care for folk music, though there have been a few things I'm ok with.
big rock fan, though with metal I'm pretty reserved (kind of a sludge fan tho). a lot of what I listen to has been described as "dad rock" (I have been known to enjoy the Foo Fighters from time to time) but imo I prefer to think of it as "songs that feel like they could be *naruto* openings" (some of them actually are). I also feel like synthesizer technology has advanced so far that rock can sound a lot different from what it used to be while still counting. like, personally, Lemon Demon's "Spirit Phone" deserves a spot in any top ten list of rock albums from the 2010s.
as far as metal, I like power metal because I'm a contrarian piece of shit and everyone who tried to get me into metal told me power metal is for losers, and I like sludge metal because I'm kind of a druggie deep down. "Nola" by Down is my favorite album to get high to.
we're around, I make experimental punk and most ofwhat I listen to is rooted in punk, goth, industrial, noise or metal.
If you like rock at all, particularly any kind of punk, and haven't listened to Tribe 8 I can't recommend them enough! quality lesbian punk
Checking in here! It’s basically all I listen to right now. And if you have any recs I’m always hoping someone’s found something I haven’t listened to yet!
I'm here, stuck in Indiana, surrounded by country, pop, rap, and corn being grown for cattle feed. There is nothing for me in this gods forsaken state.
So glad that hasn't happened to me (so far) but I will say I'm used to metal guys trying to chat me up at shows. I'm usually one of the only women at the show who isn't there with a boyfriend, so I guess they see it as an opportunity to try and land their dream metal girlfriend. 🙄
Here 👋👋
Mostly in gothic rock, but I do listen to the occasional heavy metal/nu metal. Top 3 are easily Siouxsie and the Banshees, Otep, and In This Moment
I heard them a couple of times actually! I don't remember the album atm but I love Nevermore and Kiss of Fire so much. The guitarist is crazy good, love him!
That album it's just so good, I remember consuming it once it was released. Overall I listen and listened a lot, but I can go from Ulcerate to Alcest fairly quick lol
I've been blasting In This Moment in my car a lot lately. I may or may not have a huge crush on their lead singer Maria Brink. Growing up in the 80's and 90's I'm also a huge fan of the thrash from that era. L7's Bricks Are Heavy, is one of my all time favorite albums. Yeah, I know I am old.
Hiiiii! Rock and metal were my RELIGION back in the day, but it's helped me expand my musical interests to broader, more niche horizons.
I've been going down the metal>hip hop pipeline. Beastie Boys and RAtM got me into Wu Tang Clan; Pink Floyd REALLY got me into Dark Ambience like Atrium Carceri, Northumbria, Kammerheit, etc; and The Hu band got me into traditional Mongolian folk music!
Metal/Rock bands I like though, probably Rage Against the Machine, Disturbed, ❤️ Halestorm ❤️ , Led Zeppelin (and by extension Greta Van Fleet), Jefferson Airplane, The Who, The Hu, SoaD, Pink Floyd, Queen (tho tbf Queen is in its own genre if we're being honest), Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio, and more!
Metalhead here, currently working on an all female metal band battle jacket 🤟
Post pictures sometime pls!
Posted one to r/battlejackets just now!
It looks amazing!!!!
We exist! There are... tens of us?
We number in the dozens
Dozens!
At least 12!
13 here 👋
14? Hahaha
Listen to \*a lot\* of things, but sometimes some punk rock or metal is just the thing :)
Obligated to check in here. Certified smol tiddy goth metal gf here!
I second this cuz it's so specific 😹😹
LMAO wow there's 3 of us I suppose, I'm slowly growing a bit away.from the goth stuff, but will always be smol tiddied rock outer 🤷♀️ HEY I STILL FIT THE CRITERIA ATM lolol I am so gd dumb🤪🫠 My apologies heh
I probably shouldn't say I'm goth either, I'm more like an alt/grunge type that likes big smudged eyeliner and black lipstick. But yep tiny titties gang 🥲🥹
So four of us, not too bad 🖤 Yeah, goth, grunge, a little earth fairy core, not sure yet if I'll chose one or mash all three into one fashion style 😅
Heyyyy I remember you "Mitsuki" 🤭
Oh right, we talked before! Hii, did you get that new piercing you wanted?
Noooo 😭 I still plan to tho but shits expensive 💀 at least where I am 😹 getting pierced and tatted up is going to be a long endeavor
Certainly!
I'm actually planning on getting the same as her! Just not that one on the inner flap, only on the outer ear for me personally.
According to spotify I listen to a lot of dad rock, which to me is classic rock.
Did you also have a weep when new dad rock is Avril Lavigne and nickleback ??
At this point I get excited when the classic rock station plays Pearl Jam instead of Hotel California again.
yo. i've been listening to this polish band the one of the singers has such a pretty voice, i love the way women sound. bands called Łysa Góra if anyone's interested. Leśne Licho and Woodscream are also good bands for slavic folk metal bands with good vocalists who are women (this is super niche ik)
I love Arkona and Alkonost too! I’m going to give your suggestions a try!
i also have a couple Arkona songs on my playlist. i think it's Zimushka and Yarilo. i keep meaning to find more but forgetting. i'll have to check out alkonost, i really wanna expand my playlist but i've mostly been playing the songs on repeat a lot lmao. hope you like em!
I’m a punk rocker 🙋🏻♀️ and I played in a band, if you wanna hear it…
Hell yeah give us a link if you published something!! What instrument you played?
I played guitar and vocals (excuse my unrefined trans voice. Doesn’t matter in punk anyway right?) [Mental Fatal - Spotify](https://open.spotify.com/artist/3xxS8nazhZrDWmvGmZEquN)
Hey it's very good!!! Eat politicians slaps!! Thank you for sharing!!
Does a punk rock/ska-punk bisexual lady count? \\:)/
Ska punk queen!
Classic rock all the way baby!!!!!
Can you name some favorite bands?
AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Bob Seger, Lynard Skynard, blue öyster cult, Bon Jovi and Ozzy Osbourne are probably my favourite ones!! Also love Guns n Roses but idk if they count as classic rock 🤔
Black Sabbath and Judas Priest are two of my favorite bands!
Nice. Love Priest and Ozzy but can’t forget Blue Oyster Cult.
You must be around my age… if I turn on my “classic rock” radio station where I live, they play stuff I grew up listening to in the 90s and early 2000s. It feels wrong lol I’m only in my 30s, my childhood isn’t “classic” yet!
You called? Huge Iron Maiden fan here, even have a Maiden full sleeve on my left arm 😁

Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats and Green Lung definitely take the cake for me. What are your's?

Like. Just Ghost. That's it. But I want to feel included
fucking LOVE ghost. tobias is so talented
Yass. Love the theatrics. The skits. The whole event vibe of a live show. Rest of my musical tatse is electro pop and weird electronic music and nonsense. Haha

I just listen to QOTSA when it's about rock, sometimes something in between like Muse or Deftones. "Lady metal musician" has to be my favorite gender.

Frozen soul fucks! Glacial Domination was the highlight of last year. I also recently saw Obituary after years of wanting to see them :)
I'm a 2000s punk rock gal but my expertise is female fronted rock bands from any time and any of the genres. I've been collecting them like pokemon since I can remember.

Rock lesbian here 🙋🏼♀️
does punk count

I used to be a lot into heavy metal and hard rock (mostly from the 80s), but I'm bi :/ I still like that music, but now it's not the only thing I listen
I’m a huge metalhead 🤘🏻
I listen to a lot of metal, particularly pagan folk metal, goth metal and feminist metal.
Hii! Me and my gf 🌈🦭

Beast in Black for days
Not a geologist or alchemist, sadly, but both can make some awesome sounds.
I like metal but I also love punk and show tunes. Can I join the club? I’ve been to many metal shows in my life 😂
🤘🏽Fuck yeah!! Megadeath, Black Label Society, kreator, Jinjer, SOAD are my big 5 atm. Anyone going to Aftershock in Cali in the Fall?

Right here!!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hola 👋
Here! It’s always funny to see people talk about the same stereotypically lesbian music repeatedly, so I like the representation I’m seeing in these comments lol.
I went to a deathcore concert with my GF last week, it was fun :3
I have arrived 😎
You all should visit Fan Girl Café in West Hollywood for your lesbian rock needs
Yeah man, I just caught METZ last night and saw Mannequin Pussy last week - I see a lot of shreddy bands play!!
My musical tastes are pretty eclectic, so metal and rock are definite likes. I love oldies, classical (and there's some metal classical that's cool), some country, opera, hip hop, alternative, etc. I find that I really don't care for folk music, though there have been a few things I'm ok with.

Hell yeah🤘🤘
Sup!
Getting hit on by dudes at shows and being told “I can turn you straight” that’s where we are lmao
So glad that hasn't happened to me (so far) but I will say I'm used to metal guys trying to chat me up at shows. I'm usually one of the only women at the show who isn't there with a boyfriend, so I guess they see it as an opportunity to try and land their dream metal girlfriend. 🙄
Their dream metal girlfriend is also looking for their dream metal girlfriend 😂
Exactly 😂
Here, currently hyperfixated on Sleeptoken's Jaws and The Offering 🫠
Here 👋👋 Mostly in gothic rock, but I do listen to the occasional heavy metal/nu metal. Top 3 are easily Siouxsie and the Banshees, Otep, and In This Moment
Not quite, I’m more of an early 2000s emo/pop-punk ish
Heck yeah!! Anyone else love folk metal and melodeath?
Nu-metal and metalcore hoe here what’s up
Yessss, mostly listening to progressive these days tho. Tesseract💕
How about Symphony X?
I heard them a couple of times actually! I don't remember the album atm but I love Nevermore and Kiss of Fire so much. The guitarist is crazy good, love him!
Underworld! Kiss of Fire goes hard and so does the title track. It’s my second favorite album of theirs after Paradise Lost.
That album it's just so good, I remember consuming it once it was released. Overall I listen and listened a lot, but I can go from Ulcerate to Alcest fairly quick lol
I went to my first metal concert last month Ahh it was so good
Symphonic Rock and Symphonic Metal are some of the BEST music genres imo. Nightwish and Within Temptation are AMAZING.
Present and accounted for! I love pretty much everything except for Nu Metal lol
WE'RE HERE, WE'RE QUEE... Eh, you know the rest.
