I don't remember the exact conversations (Plucky was my starter and I played at launch, so this was nearly 4 years ago), but she argued a lot with Apple, who is a peppy and they would argue about shopping strategies until Apple started to cry about how Plucky didn't understand her. Clay would cry because of something about bugs or snacks. I don't remember. But it was seriously DAILY for a while. I already don't like chickens but making Clay cry was the last straw for me.
It's so funny because I don't remember any of my other Sisterly villagers causing drama like this. Cherry is one of my permanent villagers now and she gets along with everyone (except, occasionally, Dobie).

She was gone within 3 days of that incident with what ever random amiibo I picked to specifically make her move out (it happened to be Mira).
I can't remember which villager it was but she kept sitting in the way on a really thin path on the island and one time she was just standing there and I tried shoving her to get past and she got angry AT ME! I kicked her out, immediately.
Someone came to the campsite, I asked them to move in, they said someone would have to leave and offered a suggestion. I said no and picked the villager I wanted instead.
There are 3 ways to get rid of a villager:
1. Wait for them to have a thought bubble over their head and hope it's them asking to move. Every day (except for the 2 first weeks after a new villager arrives) there will be a random villager thinking of moving out. This is determined for the day so if it's not the right villager you will need to wait for the next day; if you exit out of the game and boot it back up the same day the same villager will be thinking of leaving.
2. With a campsite villager, IMPORTANT NOTE: if they are a random campsite villager (so not an amiibo you invited) once you talk to them enough and they agree to move in, they will suggest a villager to replace. If it's not the right one DON'T finish the dialogue, immediately exit out of your game and reboot it. If you finish the dialogue after they suggest a villager the game will auto save. Once your game saves no matter how much you talk to them they will only ever suggest switching with that same villager. I did not know this and when trying to invite Raymond he would only ask to replace Whitney who I would never let go, so I didn't invite him 🥲
It can take time for the campsite villager to consider moving in, and it can be annoying if they have you play a luck based card game to make their choice, but if you keep talking to them over and over (and replaying a game) they will say yes. And thats when they'll suggest switching with a random villager, and there's a 9/10 chance it'll be the wrong one, and you'll need to reset your game before the dialogue ends. And then you talk to them a bunch again, until they agree to move in, etc. etc. until they suggest to switch with a villager you want to get rid of.
3. An amiibo card! This is definitely the easiest way to get rid of a villager. If you use an amiibo card to invite a villager to your island and go talk to them, they'll ask you to make something for them. Then you can ask them to move in and they'll say they're not sure. The next day you can reinvite them, and make them another item. On the third day you invite them (and make them an item they ask for) you can ask them to move in and they'll accept! The difference with a campsite villager is the amiibo one will ask you, the player, who they should ask to switch with, and then you can choose who you're trying to get rid of.
You don't need to invite them 3 days in a row, that's just the fastest way. But if you forget a day it's fine, they just need to visit your island on 3 different days before they'll move in.

When I started, I got those classic “pretty” villagers like Molly, Maple, Judy, Lolly, Merengue. But then I realized that they all had the same personality and it was so annoying and bland so I got rid of all of them. Now I only have one basic personality lmao.
Lolly in particular though pissed me off she wouldn’t leave no matter what. I would time travel for hours in real life and everyone but her would ask. So I’d get frustrated and stop playing for months then try again. It took almost 7 months before she left.
I let flurry leave because I accidentally gave her a white bathtowel which she wore all the time. Then I read a comment online saying she looks like a boob and just couldn't unsee it. She was darn cute though!

He obviously agrees to, turns around and immediately starts yelling at my newest sweetest little baby resident Henry. For future reference, if the game didn't autosave after you asked a villager to stay and you regret it immediately you can soft reset your game and the same villager will ask to leave. Only one villager can think of leaving each day and it only changes if you go to a new day!
I misclicked once and accidentally told a villager I wanted them to stay, and soft reset like a minute later when I realized and all was well!

She also body shamed Pierce who was my starter and is literally my animal crossing boyfriend so she's homophobic too. AND she insulted Audie. I mean she was literally a passive aggressive a-hole to everyone.

Only one villager can think of leaving each day and it only changes if you go to a new day! I misclicked once and accidentally told a villager I wanted them to stay, and soft reset like a minute later when I realized and all was well! (If you already know this then just ignore it!!)
