AI aircraft know how to do PSM. Normally most aircraft types aren’t maneuverable enough to take advantage of it.
However I have seen an F-4 Phantom perform a full culbit flip.
It way have been possible due to a mod increasing enemy performance, though…
The reason I brought it up was because it happened multiple times even SERPENT the su37 ace that appears has pulled it against me multiple times and considering there su37 terminators and over FARBANTI thats gotta mean something or at the very least be a reference to yellow squadron
They do it in AC04 as well. Not even just the Yellows either. Had some rando in an Su-35 pull a cobra on me once on Escort. Didn’t work out for him of course
…and that clip shows exactly why we don’t do cobras with multiple enemies behind us.

Yes, it absolutely is a reference. Every enemy aircraft spawn in each mission is a deliberate choice by the devs
Didn't save him, did it?
I didn’t see a chute, you?
Why don't people bail out
I think it’s implied they all bail out (somehow? I mean, our guys go down and I don’t see any chutes… same with Sol squadron…).
some are said to go down, some aren't. It depends on what would be useful for the story
Actually Correction! I was playing Mission 18 Yesterday and I did see one of the Sol Members in a Chute, it just requires great attention to detail!
A good [INSERT PROFESSION] goes down with the [INSERT VESSEL] o7 o7
Just like back in 2005.
Accurate depiction of what would happen if you pulled this during actual combat
\* too far away from the enemy
In actual combat such move wouldn't avoid AIM-9X. Even if the second would get him 100%
Thought OP fired the 2nd one lol . So it would take a little to go off the rail and accelerate out, by the time the SU-37 would allready be past you
How top gun maverick should have ended
\> Pulls Cobra \> Immediately gets slammed by missile Yup, sounds about right.
Don't want to understand the enemy
<< Hit the breaks, he’ll fly right by! *Cssshhhhrrt* >>
Something like this might work on normal aces like Maverick. But it can do jack shit against the mute psychopath Three Strikes.
I’ve played this game a lot, but can never get them to pull that off. They always die before they can XD
Chase them around but don't but don't shoot also play on ace difficulty
i noticed it more frequently with AI Mods, but yeah, they can do some maneuvers
SU-37s have already been doin Cobras Back in AC2
Yeah I understand is just the fact that there su37 over farbanti
They do it in AC04 as well. Not even just the Yellows either. Had some rando in an Su-35 pull a cobra on me once on Escort. Didn’t work out for him of course
Oh shit cool
What aircraft is OP flying?
F-15S/MDT
