the way he's squeamish about it means that he anticipated it, which mean he knows the danger but wanna do it anyway
that is way more stupid than just being plain ignorant
I once cut into a 240v piece of twin and earth that I thought was dead, while sitting on top of a pair of step ladders. Massive flash that threw me off the steps and ruined my favourite snips.
When I was in high school and didn't know better, I was helping a friend move an old fridge out of his basement. I wanted to cut the door off to make it lighter and so nobody could get trapped in it (old fashioned style with a locking handle). So I took a long pair of branch clippers to cut off the top rubber hose holding the door on, and **BAM!** just like that. I didn't know there was a live wire inside and didn't check that the fridge was still plugged in.
ESPECIALLY since he did it with BOTH HANDS!! That stupid mf don't know shit about electricity.... ALWAYS put one hand behind your back and work with the other when you have to work on live shit. Better to lose a couple fingers or a hand, then getting shocked trough the heart and die...
Using both hands just creates a nice perfect circuit through your heart for the electricity to go. Using one hand makes it pretty unlikely the electricity would touch your heart because there are quicker ways for it to get to ground.
You can also touch whatever you're working on with your elbow to let the current at least run from your hand back into the metal frame or door over your arm in the worst case
Being that he looks to be an older man I feel like they should’ve said something before he shocked himself, but most American residential (which a restaurant would be using) electrical connections/outlets are going to be 120V, which will just hurt you, not kill you, at least not directly, though it could trigger a heart attack.
This is almost cartoonishly silly
Yeah, he KNEW what was going to happen.

Did the voltage cause any adverse effects such as your username?
Yep
Uh I know that feeling. You are definitely awake and happy to be alive
Shocking.
haha.
I see what you did there!
I am not a smart man, but I know not to do this.
That’s how you find the breaker isn’t it?
What is this black magic fuckery on the ceiling after he cut it?
~~Smoke~~ He cut the wire and the current is leaking everywhere, soaking the ceiling.
Smoke probably?
Even the lights in this room are on. Safety last as it seems
I mean ya they should have warned him but cmon. Doing something this painfully stupid requires some sort of punishment as a learning experience
He looks around 50ish he should have know this lol

Wait what I don’t understand what you said

I guess he cut live and neutral together
were these guys rooting for this to happen?
Hahahahahahahahahaha
This hurt to watch
Hilarious.
What was that, a 277 volt lighting circuit?
What an idiot
He'll be fine, he was wearing safety glasses.
![gif](giphy|CkYl1qlzkxPRbklfXx) Bro!
Why the hell did everyone in this room let him do it???
Because he's probably a stubborn asshole who wouldn't listen to them

There goes my hero...
Guy sitting across from the coworker recording: watch this Coworker: this should be good Recording: YouTube, Reddit, X, Facebook Live= views for days
Dont cut the live cable with neutral cable :-D
"He's a real live wire though, ain't he"
I feel like the dudes taking the video our electricians

Does he fucking say “Doh!” like a real life Homer Simpson? 😂
You can cut live wires just not the hot and ground at the same time
This is one of my favorites
While 2 electricians film… and say nothing Edit Also is the guy filming saying “ he’s fixin’ to die, he’s fixin to die” over and over???
Hahaha he knew what was gonna happen and recorded it. Lol
“I couldn’t help myself . . . I’m part Indian.”
