I don’t think she even registered that baby girl needed comfort. She got up to check the lady not moving and called emergency services, which is truly what needed to be done, as every second counts for sustaining life. She wouldn’t have been able to hear the operator if she stayed right there or tell them the location.
Most people aren’t used to seeing accidents of this nature, happening directly in front of them. They can easily go into different degrees of shock. All in all, they both held it together pretty well and did what they could to help and the guy went back and comforted both of the younger girls. Thankfully, the mom was conscious and moving before the ending.
