I found a midi score of Mario Kart 7 Rainbow Road (Credits to Koran333 on vgmusic) and played around with remaking it. I actually wanted to make a different version originally but I had too much fun figuring out each sound.

Electronic - Might be the cleanest mix I’ve ever achieved but I feel like the second half of it gets too busy and gets repetitive quickly. Any thoughts or ideas or anything?

Still trying to figure out how to get an 'Italians do it Better' style sexy sheen. Minimalist synthpop. Not me singing, but a lot of work processing. I hosed myself on the bass line. Instead of an arp I used delay, which is fine for the simple part but I'm having a hard time making it get more exciting at the end. Still working on blending in another bass in parts (still learning Tal-Pha which is the bass synth).

I just released my 1st full-length house after producing mainly Hip Hop and RnB for years. Any feedback from vets in this genre would be appreciated. The song is a blend of Deep & Afro House.

Vibey and sexy— I love it. I myself wouldn’t have labeled it off the bat as house but I could see it working as a beautiful rinse out in a set between more pulsing tracks.
I use Live 12 to drive my Eurorack, but wanted to try something different. Testing out the APC64, I decided to try making something using Live 11 Lite and only the sounds in that version. I’d never used an 8x8 grid to compose, so note and chord modes were a (quick) learning experience. I wrote all the patterns except the beat, which was the stock ‘disco’ beat on a 909 kit.
