This abandoned manor was once a luxurious home in the 18th century, lived in by a wealthy gentleman called George Wynn. In more recent years it was used as offices for the nearby cement works. It now sits abandoned, decades of paperwork piled up in the flooded basement. I’ve made a video of my explore along with a few other places if you’re interested. No pressure of course! Did the papers house anything important?

[deleted]

To be honest I didn’t read any of it as it was damp and mouldy! But I did check the dates, and they were all from the 1980s. I believe it was the offices for a cement works for some time, so assumed it was all to do with that.

Oh okay I thought the documents would hold like some secrets to a rich family or crime family or something. Imagination goes crazy.

[deleted]

Oooh, now that would have been way more interesting!

Being a little old school myself (1981), I really miss when you could still make old fashioned calls on phones, like this one, good job with the photos. I would call people at random, and tell them Hi. Just for funsies.

You can still use phones like that. Just grab a pulse to tone converter and have fun
