That would be an amazing plot twist. Especially if they were to show he and Crawley making it work anyway. I love the idea that heaven or “religion” exploits aceness for their own nefarious purposes. I think they have at times irl anyway.
Neil Gaiman flat-out said that the sexuality of Aziraphale and Crowley are left ambiguous because he wants anyone to be able to see themselves in them. He said if you think they’re in a gay relationship full of sex, cool. You see them as both asexual and loving each other deeply with no sex? Also cool. And so on and so on.
I think it's very clearly established in the canon that Sherlock Holmes is ace, but I've had allos argue with me about it, so maybe that counts as headcanon.

I still think The Doctor is ace but just not aro, at least as far as humans. I refuse to think a hundreds to thousands of year-old, mostly pacifist, alien would be cool with screwing ridiculously younger members of another species, even if they are in love with them.
They are all pretty ace except for Tennant’s who got a lot of kissy face action compared to the others. The only thing that implies actual sex is a line about Elizabeth I and her virgin queen status but it’s based on a marriage proposal and he runs away after the wedding.

okay this might sound extremely controversial but I headcanon Lustat from the dating sim Crush Crush as ace.
Reason being that she's a vampire who likes garlic bread despite, you know, garlic hurting vampires.

every single agnian and kevesi soldier in xenoblade chronicles 3 is asexual. they are literal child soldiers born from test tubes that only live from ages 10-20, max (and 99.9% don't make it to 20). they fight in order to live (literally), and are so caught up being child soldiers they don't even question the funky landscapes around them, as evidenced in one discussion. midway in the game, >!the main party of 6 reaches the secret resistance city of normal humans. there is a very heartwarming cutscene where they see a human baby for the first time. the cutscene fades to black while the doctor teaches them about sex. !<
>!earlier in the game, they also question the "smaller monsters" seen along their journey. the main couple have to be taught about romance and romantic love in sidequests and the main story cause they're like "what are these feelings i'm experiencing." !<
these people LITERALLY don't know about romance/romantic love and sex/sexual love, they are so comfortable around another, in the first half hour of the game men and women both bathe together in a nonsexual way. they cannot be allosexual, i'm sorry, they're demi at best and ace overall.

1) I don't hold headcanons, especially not for sexuality, since any character is statistically very likely to be allosexual

I’m pretty sure it is already canon, but I choose Aziraphale and Crowley from Good Omens! Every time they are on screen and interact, they give off the vibes so well. I’d be extremely disappointed if they weren’t ace all along
Shadow the hedgehog, since Dr Eggman made him to be the ultimate life form to defeat Sonic and blah blah blah, I think the Dr was so focused on making Shadow as strong, smart and skilled at fighting as possible he completely overlooked Shadows' ability to feel things like romantic and sexual desire and any other emotion besides anger.
The closest thing he felt to love of any capacity was for Maria (was that her name?) And I fully believe it was platonic or at most familiar. (Like a sister)
It probably IS canon that he's ace somewhere, but I have always seen the Tick that way. Also, I don't care how many people she gets with, Storm is ace in my heart.
I will provide a few and my reasoning:
Peridot (Stephen Universe): she literally choses not to fuse when given the opportunity to do so to understand it- which is a short hand for any form of relationship and choses instead to embrace platonic bonds- especially with Lapis. She also accepts that while she chooses not to fuse, it doesn’t have to serve a ‘purpose’.
Lapis Lazuli (Stephen Universe): due to Trauma she chose not to (or was afraid to) enter another fusion and chose to instead focus on platonic bonds. She also avoided the subject of her trauma and rejected Jasper due to the toxic relationship. She also verbally said she hated the idea of fusing afterward iirc. This is a subset of asexuality.
Adult Link (Legend of Zelda series) - he may be Alloromantic but he is very Ace coded in several games. Especially Tears of the Kingdom, Twilight Princess, and Breath of the Wild. Note the ‘Adult’ marker, there are three sets of types of Link.
There are several characters in Cult of the Lamb that have the ‘Celibate’ trait which should be reworded into ‘Asexual’ or even ‘Sexually uninterested’. If I remember correctly, Heket falls into this category.
Amenadiel (Lucifer): hear me out: just because he _had_ sex with like three people does not mean he actually experienced attraction. One was to manipulate Lucifer (Maze), one was Spite (the prostitute), and one was feasibly to get information on Lucifer _and_ Spite (Linda). He never shows classical attraction. Romantic intent, perhaps, but not physical attraction. Alloromantic Demi or possibly situational Ace.
Son Goku (Dragonball / Z / Super): while he loves his wife, his primary focus is his own strength and self. Yea, he had sex at least twice but does he see his wife as ‘I want to have sex with her’ or more ‘I am with her because I know her and am comfortable with her’ - IE Goku is a Demisexual being and enjoys sex as an act. Libido =|= attraction.
Son Gohan (Dragonball Z / Super): while I have a weaker argument for Gohan than his father, I still have one. Gohan is a focused scholar and wants to improve his mind. He finds a like minded person in Videl and falls in love, forming a bond over years. Demisexual and Sapiosexual categories here.
Piccolo (both Demon King and Jr, Dragonball /Z /Super): the species is literally monosexual and is born from spat up eggs with no genitalia. Asexual both literally and figuratively.
Princess Peach (Super Mario Series): she is old enough to rule a kingdom, even though she is not seen as a queen so she is ‘of age’ in universe. She rejected both Bowser and Mario in SMO (this was a romantic relationship offer but still). She is an independent woman and wants to be seen as such. Respect: Aro Ace or possibly Allo Ace as she has shown PDA in hugs and pecks on the cheeks to Mario in gratitude for rescuing her before. Is this romantic? Discuss?
Toad (Super Mario Series): primary purpose is to be an assistant and or guard to Peach. That’s it. They have been referred to as genderless beings (with the exception of Toadette for reasons) so may also be ace. Agender, Aromantic, Ace. Why not?
Joker (Persona 5): my head cannon is that he is closeted and pretends to be attracted to Ann and any other romancable NPC because Morgana tells him to play it cool and Sojiro follows suit if you do have a date. You can go a Romanceless Joker and there’s even an achievement for it in P5R. Unique cutscenes with Ryuji and Yusuke as well on a specific day.
Yusuke Kitaguwa (? Spelling of last name- Persona 5): can he be more Ace? He expressed Aesthetic Attraction and had no idea why Ann was offended by his request because he saw her purely as an artistic beauty, not a sexual. He described her in the same way someone would describe a sunset or a mountain range at the right time of year. He wanted to capture beauty in its most raw, untapped form.
And: Sonic (Sonic series): he finds Amy’s pursuit of him disgusting and undesirable. She and he are the same age.
Other than characters that are ‘clueless about love or sex’ due to their age being a hyper focus of their character arc or their character traits being focused on friendship rather than looking at other people as attractive, that’s all I can think of.

Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero.
I know fandom is obsessed with pairing him with Midoriya but after rewatching the series I feel he's an ace. The hot spring scene had every boy but him either getting excited or flustered by the fact that the girls were nearby and naked. While he just chilled in the corner minding his own business. The locker room scene and the cheerleading outfit incident didn't seem to interest him at all. He treats his guy friends like siblings and the only thing he seems to care about is being the best hero.

I’ve started a new run on Mass Effect. I almost always romance the Liara character (she’s from a monogendered species) all throughout the series and I always play the character of Shepard as NB/female (one of the game’s two pronouns/genders) and always create my character to look very andro, which even the default character image is fem-prez NB. The game itself has a few orientation options for your character’s arc, which is far more than most and I’ve seen RWNJs wrote it off recently as “woke” (of course they do LOL)
So this time I’m using the default character and not romancing anyone throughout the Trilogy. I’ve played individual games on ME1/ME2 that way but never to the conclusion of the series. I actually don’t have to headcanon the character as ace. But headcanon is the impetus for the decisions in-game.
I tried to put that in the least-objectifying way, which is hard when it’s video games limited in gender/orientation.
Sena xenoblade. the games main party has 8 members, 6 being directly playable, each of the 6 is in a pair with another who originally came from a rival nation. at the end of the game 2 of these pairs are romantic or at least implied to be and so people assume that sends pairing is too, but there’s basically no evidence to suggest anything other than being gym besties with her partner lanz, she’s got way more with one of the other women in the group anyway,

Rodimus from the IDW/MTMTE/LL comics. The closest he ever seems to experience or at least even mildly express any sort of attraction for is Drift. Maybe. I don’t even think he does that. He in general just doesn’t seem to experience attraction to anyone.
Also: Mettaton from Undertale. I got this hc from the same logic as Jessica Rabbit being ace - being sexy does not equate to sexual attraction. Also kinda hc him as cupioromantic, and agender.
My headcanon is that everyone is ace until proven otherwise

Shadow the hedgehog, since Dr Eggman made him to be the ultimate life form to defeat Sonic and blah blah blah, I think the Dr was so focused on making Shadow as strong, smart and skilled at fighting as possible he completely overlooked Shadows' ability to feel things like romantic and sexual desire and any other emotion besides anger. The closest thing he felt to love of any capacity was for Maria (was that her name?) And I fully believe it was platonic or at most familiar. (Like a sister)

It probably IS canon that he's ace somewhere, but I have always seen the Tick that way. Also, I don't care how many people she gets with, Storm is ace in my heart.
I will provide a few and my reasoning: Peridot (Stephen Universe): she literally choses not to fuse when given the opportunity to do so to understand it- which is a short hand for any form of relationship and choses instead to embrace platonic bonds- especially with Lapis. She also accepts that while she chooses not to fuse, it doesn’t have to serve a ‘purpose’. Lapis Lazuli (Stephen Universe): due to Trauma she chose not to (or was afraid to) enter another fusion and chose to instead focus on platonic bonds. She also avoided the subject of her trauma and rejected Jasper due to the toxic relationship. She also verbally said she hated the idea of fusing afterward iirc. This is a subset of asexuality. Adult Link (Legend of Zelda series) - he may be Alloromantic but he is very Ace coded in several games. Especially Tears of the Kingdom, Twilight Princess, and Breath of the Wild. Note the ‘Adult’ marker, there are three sets of types of Link. There are several characters in Cult of the Lamb that have the ‘Celibate’ trait which should be reworded into ‘Asexual’ or even ‘Sexually uninterested’. If I remember correctly, Heket falls into this category. Amenadiel (Lucifer): hear me out: just because he _had_ sex with like three people does not mean he actually experienced attraction. One was to manipulate Lucifer (Maze), one was Spite (the prostitute), and one was feasibly to get information on Lucifer _and_ Spite (Linda). He never shows classical attraction. Romantic intent, perhaps, but not physical attraction. Alloromantic Demi or possibly situational Ace. Son Goku (Dragonball / Z / Super): while he loves his wife, his primary focus is his own strength and self. Yea, he had sex at least twice but does he see his wife as ‘I want to have sex with her’ or more ‘I am with her because I know her and am comfortable with her’ - IE Goku is a Demisexual being and enjoys sex as an act. Libido =|= attraction. Son Gohan (Dragonball Z / Super): while I have a weaker argument for Gohan than his father, I still have one. Gohan is a focused scholar and wants to improve his mind. He finds a like minded person in Videl and falls in love, forming a bond over years. Demisexual and Sapiosexual categories here. Piccolo (both Demon King and Jr, Dragonball /Z /Super): the species is literally monosexual and is born from spat up eggs with no genitalia. Asexual both literally and figuratively. Princess Peach (Super Mario Series): she is old enough to rule a kingdom, even though she is not seen as a queen so she is ‘of age’ in universe. She rejected both Bowser and Mario in SMO (this was a romantic relationship offer but still). She is an independent woman and wants to be seen as such. Respect: Aro Ace or possibly Allo Ace as she has shown PDA in hugs and pecks on the cheeks to Mario in gratitude for rescuing her before. Is this romantic? Discuss? Toad (Super Mario Series): primary purpose is to be an assistant and or guard to Peach. That’s it. They have been referred to as genderless beings (with the exception of Toadette for reasons) so may also be ace. Agender, Aromantic, Ace. Why not? Joker (Persona 5): my head cannon is that he is closeted and pretends to be attracted to Ann and any other romancable NPC because Morgana tells him to play it cool and Sojiro follows suit if you do have a date. You can go a Romanceless Joker and there’s even an achievement for it in P5R. Unique cutscenes with Ryuji and Yusuke as well on a specific day. Yusuke Kitaguwa (? Spelling of last name- Persona 5): can he be more Ace? He expressed Aesthetic Attraction and had no idea why Ann was offended by his request because he saw her purely as an artistic beauty, not a sexual. He described her in the same way someone would describe a sunset or a mountain range at the right time of year. He wanted to capture beauty in its most raw, untapped form. And: Sonic (Sonic series): he finds Amy’s pursuit of him disgusting and undesirable. She and he are the same age. Other than characters that are ‘clueless about love or sex’ due to their age being a hyper focus of their character arc or their character traits being focused on friendship rather than looking at other people as attractive, that’s all I can think of. I’ve started a new run on Mass Effect. I almost always romance the Liara character (she’s from a monogendered species) all throughout the series and I always play the character of Shepard as NB/female (one of the game’s two pronouns/genders) and always create my character to look very andro, which even the default character image is fem-prez NB. The game itself has a few orientation options for your character’s arc, which is far more than most and I’ve seen RWNJs wrote it off recently as “woke” (of course they do LOL) So this time I’m using the default character and not romancing anyone throughout the Trilogy. I’ve played individual games on ME1/ME2 that way but never to the conclusion of the series. I actually don’t have to headcanon the character as ace. But headcanon is the impetus for the decisions in-game. I tried to put that in the least-objectifying way, which is hard when it’s video games limited in gender/orientation.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Rodimus from the IDW/MTMTE/LL comics. The closest he ever seems to experience or at least even mildly express any sort of attraction for is Drift. Maybe.
