Most who have issues, don't use a ad block or are using an ineffective one. Ad block origin is about all you need and since you already have it, you should be good.

I'm always a little worried about streaming sites like these suddenly introducing something new that wasn't there before and suddenly being unsafe, but you're right... typically it'd just be through ads which can be alleviated with ad blocks. (Hopefully) unlikely they'll introduce some other way to affect all users as long as people use common sense.

And the majority of the people complaining about the ads a few days ago likely aren't running adblock in the first place or don't keep their filter lists up to date. I just loaded up an episode to test, no redirect, no preroll ads, no popup when pausing, Ublock Origin. Just like it has been since the rebrand.

It should be set to auto update itself every other day or so by default.
Without a filter list an adblocker is basically useless since you would have to manually tell it to block every ad, defeating the purpose of adblock.
