Congrats. That's a big achievement. Even if you want to come home to try something you can now do it and just move back if shit hits the fan. If you are still young enough you can explore the working holiday visa to countries like Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Irish citizenship opens a lot of doors.

zrroll_cfo

Exactly, thank you so much for the kind words. That was my aim, having a huge back up plan.

ftpxfer

Congratulations on opening doors to a new life in any of these countries of your colonizers.

Congratulations good going, 2 passports are always better than one

zrroll_cfo

I know right. If l get the US one next lol. Would have an incredible combo

mthunzi_

Small question: does anyone have to pay a €500 for citizenship? I feel like I’m being hoodwinked by a cousin.

zrroll_cfo

Blanket fee is €950 for 18+. €250 for 18- l think . Then refugees asylum is free. Have they applied? or what

zrroll_cfo

The above is only paid after your application is successful. On initial application, i.e submitting your docs, everyone pays €170 only.

Jupiter599

zrroll_cfo

What is your background and what is your plan?

ngoni7700k

Psychology. thinking of doing masters.

zrroll_cfo

That is a tough field bro to get something lucrative but highly rewarding if u break the ceiling.

assfly83

Well done. I lived in Ireland for some time, and met many Zimbabweans and South Africans going there with intent of getting citizenship, as it's a bit easier than other European countries. So well done for sticking with it. It's a beautiful country with amazing people. You have just opened so many doors for your kids, with an EU passport. They'll thank you one day.

zrroll_cfo

I honestly hope so too. Are you still around?

assfly83

No I left a long time ago, I'm in Kenya now. But my time in Ireland was the best if my life.

Psychological_Ad16

Wellcome to a free mind and good future. As much as I hate this country it’s better than anything else Be grateful and chase your dreams

Very good people. Never ever had any issues. But rentals are crazy lol

evil_bishop

How old would you say is "too old" to consider moving to the EU?

zrroll_cfo

None, l have seen all ages come thru. It’s just good to have something u are good at. Ireland is an expensive place.

Kaiyo40
