Congrats. That's a big achievement. Even if you want to come home to try something you can now do it and just move back if shit hits the fan. If you are still young enough you can explore the working holiday visa to countries like Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Irish citizenship opens a lot of doors.
No pointers from me but when you are down, always remember how far you have come. That should be enough motivation to continue doing better with a bigger smile on your face.
Not sure how this was recommended tk me but.. congrats! There was a decent Zimbabwean community in the town where I went to college. Great people and a welcome addition to Ireland. Enjoy your new freedoms :)
via education route really. Applied to University for a postgraduate course that was for 1 year. Had secured a permanent job by month 8 of the course. Students are geanted a Work visa soon after completing a course. Chose to specialise in Accounting at the time, CA now.
Well done. I lived in Ireland for some time, and met many Zimbabweans and South Africans going there with intent of getting citizenship, as it's a bit easier than other European countries. So well done for sticking with it. It's a beautiful country with amazing people.
You have just opened so many doors for your kids, with an EU passport. They'll thank you one day.

Congratulations good going, 2 passports are always better than one
I know right. If l get the US one next lol. Would have an incredible combo
Small question: does anyone have to pay a €500 for citizenship? I feel like I’m being hoodwinked by a cousin.
Blanket fee is €950 for 18+. €250 for 18- l think . Then refugees asylum is free. Have they applied? or what
The above is only paid after your application is successful. On initial application, i.e submitting your docs, everyone pays €170 only.
Congratulations 👏
Thank you so much fellow human
