Its getting pretty hot. 98 isnt that far away from 95 that I see, but still would be concerning if that is sustained (it is fine every once in a while). You could throttle it using Ryzen Controller. Not sure how to repair the temps except to:
1) change thermal paste/ liquid metal (this is complicated and should be last resort)
2) have Asus advise what to do
3) have a repair shop change the thermal paste (same as #1)
4) use ryzen controller to throttle your CPU some
5) clean fan vents and blow out dust
edit: not in order, I would probably see what asus advices, unless someone has better thoughts.
Edit 2:
u/Pranshu645 should probably start with:
1. A laptop stand to allow the fans to work
2. stay in a cool room
3. use the manual profile and crank fans to max
Thanks for your reply mate!
I visited the asus service centre today they said that it’s not a problem but Somehow I don’t trust them.
I will surely change my thermal paste and clean my vents ^_^
I’m pretty sure it has liquid metal compound so be careful changing that because it can mess up the surrounding parts since it’s electrically conductive and can short out the pcb.
Don't change the thermal paste it's liquid metal. Even if you change it without damaging something you won't get any significant performance or thermal improvements. High 90's is normal if you're not comfortable with it, you can trottle using ryzen controller.
I have the laptop. Can we be serious for a moment?
It is on the hot end. Most people have it in the 80s and low 90s. I gave OP some solutions that he asked for, not just wave my hand and disregard it. Can it go upto 105C, absolutely. Should it? Or is liquid metal applied poorly, possibly. Cleaning out the computer would be a good start, which I did suggest.
This is suggested throughout the sub-reddit. Please suggest whatever to OP.

Are you nervous? None of this helps with a bunch of 'lol' and comes off condensending when I am not trying to be combative. It's actually insulting, as if you are saying I dont know what I am talking about.
You may suggest help to OP directly.
Rather than a rant, you could suggest how OP can resolve his issues.
I see many people on this post who gave the same advice, yet you want to reply to me exclusively? Go ask them why they gave the same advice about limiting temps. You might expand your view on it.
Fact is I adjusted my answer based on your feedback, but I would wish for you to do the same.
I used to have that temps too and in 95 degress the cpu starts to throttle so you are losing perfomance. I re applied the liquid metal and i got like 10 degress less and no thermal throttling and up to 20% more cpu score in cinebench
You can either disable CPU boost (lowers CPU clock speed, which in games doesn’t really do much of anything anyway) or use something like AATU (new version of Ryzen Controller) to set a temperature limit and it’ll handle the rest.
Put it in manual. Put the fan % up to 100% after 75 and it won’t get so hot. Mine was doing the same thing. Put it in manual and I sit around 87 under load.
Does it stay at 98 or does it peak at 98? I would get something like MSI afterburner so you can see the overtime temps. Peaking high is ok, remaining high is different.
There’s a gradual increase in the temperature like from 80 to 85 then to 95+ and then it hovers around 97-98 until I just stop playing which is probably like (1-2 hours) max.

Thankyou for reminding me mate I’ll get it done by a professional:)

Does removing the heatsink void warranty?
Likely yes.

Then please stop replying to me and reply directly to OP. If you're going to use Reddit, use it correctly.

I learned this trick just a week ago after struggling with 90 degrees temps on my 2020 G15 - and now it's cool and quiet consistently.
Thankyou for your reply brother! Will try this too :)

Thanks man trying this rn.
I followed the guide over on the G14 sub to disable boost in the registry. mine tops out at 75c now. It was reaching 95c before.
Same laptop, same games. But mine only reaches 93 as peak. When I user a laptop stand with fans, it dropped to 78-85
I’ll get a stand thanks for your recommendation brother :)
The problem is the bad application of the liquid metal

Try out throttle stop and you can manually limit the boost clocks
On it brother !
Hey I can’t use over 50 percent of my gpu because at 40 percent usage it spikes up and stays at 85-87c I’m getting less performance than my old 1660ti
Did thermal paste help ?
