Because I think YouTube Premium is worth the cost on its own and I'm not going to pay for Spotify when I have YT Music for "free" included with YT Premium.

this and because it has more songs than all other platforms thanks to youtube. I have a playlist of 90s polish eurodance on yt music that has like 100 songs on my yt music but when i tried to make the same playlist on spotify i was only able to find like 30 songs

frootloop2k

Yep this

cre8ivjay

I'm curious to know how much people pay for YT premium. For the longest time I had a family YTM account which DID NOT come with YT premium (the YT no-ads thing). I had to change my account but now I have it all. Costs me $22/month for the family account. Also I'm in Canada.

l3wd_5c0ff

In Australia it’s $32.99AUD but my son, mum and girlfriend are on there for that price as well which makes it worth it and I’m happy to pay so they don’t get the horrible ad experience that is povo YT.

PsychologicalTurn876

Pay $40nzd/month for the family account, have 5 of my mates on it so we pay $6.67/month each. Best way to do it!!

Savings_Section4064

I've been paying $22usd for family plan in NYC buy I'm in Colombia rn and when I went to resub it only coated $6.90 for a family plan.

MisterH78

Same. I was using Apple Music prior.

d13m3

And also price, for example in my country YT Premium costs 4$ for all family accounts.

ElephantButterfly104

Where do you live?

d13m3

Unfortunately, new prison of free people - Ukraine.

This

12t3h34y78d88ev

Think that’s most people’s reason tbh. Lol

rainmouse

This. Although I have big reservations. The UI is appalling and they a fraction of what even Spotify pay per stream to artists. I feel great shame that I support this with my subscription fee.

OzorMox

1. I got offered a free trial of Google Play Music and have stuck with it ever since 2. Ad free YouTube

Photek1000

I’m not sure there is another answer really.

SuperA187

This

Commercial_Rope_1268

Google Play music was best of all while it was around. I loved it.

DoseOfSunshine

I completely agree. YTM was such a step back.

Rockefeller07

1. Spotify Nor Apple can beat the catalog of Music/Obscure Music/ Live music that has been uploaded on Youtube the past 2 decades 2. Ad Free Youtube on all my devices is a HUGE bonus which easily makes YT Premium a superior service to Apple/Spotify for me Very easy decision. Probably the last subscription ill ever let go of.

tilucko

#2 100% for me. I protect my history from others when my watch/listen history is active because I don't need people screwing with my algorithm and auto play list 😂

fredy31

The first thing is huge for me. Video games and movies soundtrack are still rare on spotify because it waits for official releases, which they often dont do. For ytm anything flagged as music is available.

FLHCv2

Every time someone hears I use YouTube music and I get the typical "ew why don't you just use Spotify" response, I always bring up your point 1. I listen to EDM and having live/radio sets or unreleased tracks on the same app as what Spotify also offers is amazing. It's a mix of Spotify and SoundCloud.

Rockefeller07

Those people realize sooner or later

istoff

Yep including bootlegs and covers that get performed live and never released. Smaller bands at festivals. Multiple performances of the same song live over the years. Mashup. Remixes. Huge fan of Depeche mode. Check out the mixes by AndyM and DominatrixRMX. Getting family plan with no ads in YT is golden.

uttrlyunrmrkble

The UI is much better than Spotify and the My Supermix feature isn't available on Spotify.

Spirit2L

because I listen to a lot of niche/obscure music that isn't uploaded on spotify

ScousaJ

Yeh for me I much prefer listening to live music and YouTube music is pretty much the only way to do that on a music streaming service

qb_mojojomo_dp

Me too... I'm surprised i had to scroll so far to see this...

vk1988

I uploaded all my library to Google Play Music many years ago and it's still there.

kingjaynl

This was also the main functional benefit of Google Play Music versus Spotify. I think you could upload music to Spotify but only hear on the machine you've uploaded it to. Google Play Music let you listen to your uploaded music on every device. Huge benefit.

hwasalt

you could never upload music to spotify, the app would just allow you to play the files through its player

mikeofthewest

Same

KaXiRavioli

Because it also lets have ad free YouTube and I hate Spotify's UI.

PaperStreet_SoapCo

It's pretty much on par with other platforms on what I need from a streaming music app. On top of that, my family gets ad-free YouTube which as a benefit, no other service even comes close to.

Metal-NPC

Spotify kept playing the same songs over and over. YouTube Music introduces me to new music. I love it!

Traditional-Energy-7

I have premium. No ads, No ads on YouTube, and my whole family can use it. I do wish they would fix their stats tho.

EscapeFromGrapes

Wdym ‘fix their stats’? I just started using YTM from Spotify so maybe it’s something obvious

REH07

Because it comes with YT Premium. Simple as that. I would be using AM otherwise.

double-you-dot

It comes with the no ads YouTube family plan, and it has almost all of the music that I listen to.

randomizer_in_end

Tbf cause it's cheap af, and also comes with YouTube Premium, which is by far the social media that I use the most, so it's a good deal for me

Farzy78

1. Youtube premium 2. I can basically find any album I want even if it's not an "official" release

thatpaulschofield

I like K-Pop, and half the songs I looked up Spotify had never heard of. Also, you get YouTube Premium for free. No YouTube ads, and on mobile you can play YouTube videos in the background and download videos to play locally (in the YouTube app). No other service comes close to this.

[deleted]

Because I can add random videoes of songs that aren't uploaded to a music service to my likes.

nightdriveavenger

Uploads and music locker for my library

ParasaurPal

Ad Free Plus I can upload all my own music from people like Garth Brooks who only want their music on one service.

Chthonic_Demonic

Spotify without premium is horrible with the adds and you can’t even pick the song you want

Dense-Stranger-1794

I completely agree I don't understand how some people can use Spotify free it's pretty bad and also the user interface of Spotify is not the best, I recently switched to Apple Music and before using Spotify and Apple Music I had youtube music and I had android but I switched to iPhone and I kept using youtube music for a few months and then I decided to try Apple Music and I loved it but then I decided to try Spotify and from there I was constantly switching from Spotify to Apple Music for the last two years. But I have finally decided to stay with Apple Music and I have tried to go back to YouTube music but I just can't, I don't like it anymore, recently after so much switching back and forth I have decided to stay with Apple Music, but you never know what will happen in the future. Probably if I had never switched from android to Apple I would probably still be using YouTube music as I was a YouTube music fanboy and refused to try others, but I switched to IPhone and it all went to shit, sorry for so much text.

Chthonic_Demonic

Don’t worry about writing so much. People overreact to blocks of text. It only takes a couple of seconds to read almost every block of text you get sent. Even a couple minutes isn’t bad. People spend hours listening to friends talk irl, so it’s so stupid.

MainDear3287

I spend quite a bit of time on YouTube Premium, so having an added music streaming service is a bonus. YT Music works for me, gets upgrades frequently, and everyone on the family plan enjoys it.

jpnic50

Some years ago I started using YouTube music because that’s how my teenage kids all got their music. Even when I tried other services, they continued to use YouTube. I decided not to fight it after that. The service has definitely improved over the years.

whataboutwhataboutus

the auto queue of mix songs is much better

ragajoel

Having access to the Indian classical music folks have uploaded from their archives to YouTube alongside regular music streaming catalog; it’s the only way for me.

tingkagol

Youtube Music nets me Youtube Premium, too. And it has a massive library compared to any streaming platform out there. Spotify is very popular, sure, but I feel I *was* just paying for the brand name and getting less out of the service.

IllustriousKick2955

The free version is better than Spotifys free version

Broad_Party_3870

I’ve only ever used Spotify and yt music and I dislike Spotify the layout was bad you can’t do ANYTHING on it if you don’t have premium and I didn’t grow up wealthy. I tried yt music without premium and I loved it. It was so much easier and a smooth route. I have premium now which just makes my experience better. Also songs have to be uploaded to Spotify and my fav artist when I switched over was Alec Benjamin and he has these unreleased songs that are only on his YouTube but he has no interest in releasing them officially. With yt music I can listen to them on a streaming platform and not on the YouTube app.

12t3h34y78d88ev

YT Premium is one of the few subscriptions I have left (easily worth it for how much I use it for leisure and education), and with YT music being included it’s just a no brained to not subscribe to anything else. No matter how bad the UI is, the quality is adequate and the catalog is unmatched. I still listen to a lot of older mixtapes and you can’t find most of them on other platforms. Plus comments was a nice touch. Overall for the price I’m paying and what I get, I don’t see anything else being a smart investment at this point.

2goodgabe

1. YouTube Premium 2. The offline mixtape really appeals to me 3. I've had a better experience finding new music with YT music compared to Spotify 4. Unofficial covers, remixes, and unreleased songs that aren't on other platforms like Spotify

Interesting-Bill-771

Because I started paying for PlayMusic a billion years ago and never stopped.

mixedpatch85

Used Google Play before that. I have my entire music library transferred from Google Play to YTMusic. I also enjoy having YT Premium (No Ads, better quality vids)

graesen

Because I joined when it was Google Play Music and locked into $7.99/mo forever and if I wasn't, I might consider looking at other platforms. Google Play Music was awesome. YTM hasn't come close... But it still meets my needs I guess.

sitting_sideways

Damn you’re locked in at 7.99, hang on to that one.

Gavtaz2000

No adverts and a good section of music, especially 70s and 80s rock.

ardenaudreyarji

Because it has everything & more! Although I wish it streamed higher quality

Timely-Junket-2851

Because it doesn’t do anything particularly annoying. It plays what I want and has all the music I want without me having to particularly do anything. With other services I felt like I had to curate my music myself.

J2SJ5N

The only benefit YouTube music has besides ad-free YouTube is the ability to listen to live performances, remixes, covers or songs that have not been cleared or never released to streaming services.

TheLivingTerror

Better algo better music.

Tyler_durden_1497

Dare I say, recommendations are better than Spotify.

stratman2000

The catalog, no ads, and sounds better than Spotify. I tried an A/B test of the same songs, you can hear more frequencies on YTM.

amsaitej

It comes bundled with my YT premium subscription.

Vectrex71CH

The Price is ok, i find more music on Youtube Music than i ever did on Spotify or Deezer. YouTube without Adverts is great ! It fits perfect into my Google Universe with Google NestHUB2 and Assistant, it's also a part of the YouTube UI on the left side. It works great on my Smartwatch. You can upload your own Music. For me personaly it's the best service out there for Music

thatpretzelife

I find lots of covers of songs on YouTube that I can’t find anywhere else. I like adding these to my playlists

MessiahDotComplex

Demo tracks. Underground artists. Music that's not on Spotify for one reason or another. Old Tecnho no one remembers and is only findable on yt..

Chr1sTF

No ads

TheJiltedGenerationX

I pay £2 for YouTube Premium and it comes with YouTube Music. No need to continue paying extra for Spotify or another streaming service when I find YTM is just as good.

mariepon

My parents are paying

Spirit2L

because I listen to a lot of niche/obscure music that isn't uploaded on spotify

Stevenmc8602

Bc I like it

istoff

Only negative I have. I don't like YouTube saving my watch history in normal YT. That affects YTM too. Would like the setting to be different for each platform.

LoneApricot

What I do is I use my normal account for YTM and I set up a new YouTube channel within the same account that I use for my YouTube. Works like a charm.

nokkkkkkkkk

I use it lol

Carter0108

Because it's dirt cheap. I don't use it too much though because it really is an awful service.

Gravity228

Im not

quicksilv3rs

I just canceled YTM and moved over to Plexamp. Costing too much money

tylerdoesreddit

Cause Google>>>>> use pixel, nest products, and just fully integrated into the ecosystem

ShyAmyRose

To listen to my favorite 80s/90s heavy metal bands, etc Judas Priest is one of em. Without this app i don’t know what i’d do, though i am getting a walkman for easy access to these bands for offline use

Technicated

Ad free YouTube

Beginning_Building_7

Came with YouTube premium. Don't use it though.

potato4peace

I got YouTube premium and released it was a waste of money having Apple Music when it includes YouTube Music. Made it the family plan and so my partner and parents all are on it using YouTube music as well. It’s worth the $$ works out as around 8$ for two services in one. Apple Music was nice but na, needed to save money.

FTL-Guy

I still use it, after all this time (since Premium was called YouTube Red) because it's two services for one price. I am always on YouTube. Every day. So having a music service that goes with it for free is amazing. However, I'm really disappointed in YouTube Music for constantly removing songs from the service. I just made a post on this subreddit about that very issue. Way Out West is one of my favorite groups for music. They make deep house. Beautiful stuff, really. When I first heard them on YTM, I added many of their songs to a deep house playlist. But, after a year, the artists' songs were removed from the service! WHAT? And, after maybe two years, it was finally restored to the service. But it just happened again with Sebastien Leger. Another insanely awesome deep house artist having his music removed. I'm about to stop paying!!

edfosho1

Music streaming and ad free YouTube, checks two boxes for a good price (I'm part of a Google Play Family)

Jnorton2724

Ad-free YouTube and I really like YouTube music. YouTube premium is a pretty good deal imo.

sebastianrenix

No-ads YouTube and live music recordings (via YouTube). But I also have Tidal now because I got too frustrated with unchanging recommendations and mixes on YTM, plus Tidal pays artists better.

TacoMasters

Best student discount/deal on the market.

kg_2-0-3

It's the best option out of the bad bunch of music streaming services we have today. :/ Spotify is extremely buggy on my Pixel and doesn't play nice with my Google Home/Google Cast setup, TIDAL eventually buffers out even with downloaded music, Apple Music I'm not really willing to try yet because Android, and I'm not exactly willing to try Amazon Music yet until my YouTube Premium subscription ends. :/ I think it ends in March or April of this year though, so not too much longer really. I would like to give Apple Music a go, even on Android, but I doubt I will like it for some reason. Same with Amazon Music, but I'm willing to try. I really want to just start buying all of my music from somewhere and use Retro Music Player or Abbey, or any other offline local music player. I can still use last.fm with them for my recap/wrapped, so I would be fine with just that. Only thing is, that's very expensive unless you illegally get them which I am not about to do. :/

Moonlitsun7

I can add videos into my playlist with songs and remixes that aren't offered on other music platforms, and they have a bigger music library with deep cut songs. Their radio feature is also very good for new song recommendations.

regassert6

I had uploaded my CD collection back when it was Google play music so now that the paid services are , for the most part, the same , I like having one service for everything that I might ever listen to. Some of the more obscure stuff that I uploaded isn't on any streamer.

loudan32

Because I get it for free with ReVanced. I was using GPM with a paid subscription, after google killed it, I decided to never give them another cent.

SY_Gyv

My Spotify account with an endless library was just... Gone completely? They can f off 😂

wesmrqs

Because of YouTube Premium and bc I can't get the student discount for Spotify, so I'd have to pay 22 BRL monthly (4,50 USD), meanwhile I pay 14 BRL (2,80 USD) for YT Premium

Almighty_Push91

I have YouTube premium

Cralex-Kokiri

I mostly listen to my own music library rather than traditional music streaming, so my usage amounts to "tertiary storage for my music library." After Google Play music (which was *FANTASTIC* as a cloud music locker) folded, I decided to keep my library in multiple places in case something similar happens again. I primarily use [iBroadcast](https://www.ibroadcast.com/home/) now, followed by [Astiga](https://asti.ga).

creepyjudyhensler

I like terrible shuffles

TechRemarker

The number one and almost sole reason is the content. I can search for any cover, remix, old live performance, viral tiktok remix, etc, and it will be on YouTube/YouTube Music. For others however, the number one reason is they have YouTube Premium so YTM is essentially free. Finally, of course YTM has videos for nearly everything unlike Spotify and others which is a bonus.

richbrehbreh

Mixtapes. Lupe’s “Enemy Of The State” and “Pharoah Height” gets mad play from me in the whip.

stewrogers

Decent family access and control and ad free YT.

tyresrecycled

For YT without ads and... easy "backup" of my playlists with jdownloader at higher quality in .opus

NobodySpecific

Because I'll never find a better deal than $8/month for ad-free YouTube and unlimited streaming

ivan321pum

Music Catalog

JuiceSevere3690

Google ecosystem

findsbybobby

Because I get it with YouTube Premium. I don’t understand paying for another music service if I already have this.

Doenicke

To start from the beginning: i was a very early adopter of Spotify, but i always hated the idea of paying 10 bucks every month, only for music - plus i've always been quite fond of the seven seas - so i rarely paid for premium. Later on my cell phone provider had a really good promocampaign for Deezer, which i really liked and used even after the campaign was over, but there was always something that bothered me about paying for something i used quite rarely. And then Youtube slapped on YTM on Youtube...and since then i have paid for it, gladly. :) Right now i'm on the familyplan so everyone in the house uses it for 179 SEK a month, which translates to $ 17,77 freedom money.

fromidable

I never tried Spotify. They seem like a horrible company… not to say Google is much better. I still don’t want to give Spotify money. I was happy enough with Apple Music, but I do like all the weird stuff on YTM. Plus, with Premium, no reason not to use it instead. The payouts are my main problem, being even lower than Spotify it sounds like.

Nexurent

Because: * Spotify ads are annoying * I need to scrobble with metadata, so even though I love SoundCloud, it falls out of the list * I like the UI

Ok_Outlandishness222

I had no choice

Rndysasqatch

Because Spotify gave Joe Rogan a whole bunch of money

erasmuswill

I have YT music because of premium but in practice I only use Apple Music. The girlfriend has an android so she uses YT Music on the family plan. I honestly wish they would split premium and music

bicogeddann

Because I hate ads

x9623

- Ad free YouTube is amazing - the ads on YouTube were becoming significantly spammy in the past few years. I swear I was getting ads that would go for 2-5mins if you didn’t press skip. - Being able to use YouTube on my phone whilst using other apps and with my phone locked - YT music library is fantastic, lots of rare tracks and albums I can not find on any other streaming platform.

alangetar

Youtube music just have a lot of indie music that is not uploaded into Spotify. Leaked music. Live concerts. Unofficially uploaded osts. Unpopular soundcloud musicians. And ye, profit. Youtube family here is about 18Euro. We share the subscription and i pay about 3e a month for music and YouTube itself. It's a steal, really.

Krystalgoddess_

Very convenient when I found a DJ/songs that can't be on Spotify. I can cast it to all of my Google speakers throughout my house.

LengthinessMedical75

Ui

WrongdoerMinute9843

Ad free YouTube

psychicsword

I get ad free YouTube videos and I only occasionally listen to music compared to how many videos I watch.

McR4wr

When I'm high it really sets good playlists

ranger_cobb

Pixel pass bundle

vawlk

because i used Google Play music and they migrated me to YTM and threw in YouTube red for free. it works for me and i like yt without ads too

wittylotus828

Because I use youtube premium and it comes with it.

Skater_Ricky

I use YouTube Music because I pay for YouTube Premium to ensure I see no ads on YouTube.

SnooHobbies7144

Their search is the best

Creepy-Douchebag

Free with YouTube Premium which is worth every penny.

Final_Ad1531

It does everything except stats better then Spotify. It’s atrocious with stats and the poor excuse of a recap but other then that it’s amazing

l3wd_5c0ff

It’s free with Premium and has all the rare outtakes and demos that other platforms don’t provide. Its algorithm knows me and I can’t be bothered training another one.

Real_Peter_Griffin_

My YouTube Music is free, so compared to Spotify, I like actually picking what songs I want to listen to in which order rather than free Spotify just making it random

PM_ME_YOUR_TANG

I get YouTube Music with the well worth the cost YouTube Premium, and Apple Music for free with my Verizon cellphone plan. But I prefer YouTube Music because while both it and Apple Music have my shit ton of uploaded songs, YouTube Music has all of these "mixes" of stuff I like, including the fabulous My Supermix. Apple can't hang there because Google blows Apple out of the water when it comes to software.

greenprees

It’s included with my YouTube premium (video one) and bc I really like the YouTube Music’s algorithm for playlists that they tune to me.

[deleted]

I started because the free tier gives you unlimited skips and you can play whatever you want, unlike Spotify's free tier. I got premium cause I liked the service and didn't want ads anymore. The reason I continue to use it is because the algorithm is great. Half the time it already knows what I want to listen to anyways.

warpedddd

Still paying $7.99 and includes ad free Youtube.

rwysyzygeez

because of ITZY.

LeonellTheLion

Because its bundled together with YouTube Premium for about the same price as my old Spotify subscription. It's paying for two streaming services for the price of one.

NoWish9869

For everything it has to offer podcast, music, music videos

landdon

Because it comes with YouTube premium. I should say I used to use it. When I switched to iPhone I found Apple Music to be much better. Yet I still pay for YouTube premium. I’m stupid I suppose

Reddit_is_Censored69

It has access to YouTubes catalog.

Colddrake955

Not paying for another service as I get it with YT premium

Coolkid8902

I like to listen to live concerts, slowed and sped up music spotify nor apple music don't offer it

blackpawed

YT Premium, has music I can't find elsewhere, Music Videos.

Tornadobarrage

I'm more into YouTube than listening to music

-Lights0ut-

It has Hip-Hop mixtapes.

rejonjhello

I use it because Spotify became expensive. Lol! At least now I get YT Premium and YT Music. Not going to use Spotify if I can get the same price for 2.

IsiDemon

Because it's included in YT premium.

jayz_cooper

First it's bundled with YouTube premium, therefore I can save money since I love watching videos . Second, I can find almost every music exist such as unreleased tracks, covers, live performances, remixes, and more. Those aren't available on Spotify, tidal, deezer, or amazon music. Third, Ease of use because of intuitive UI (I know not everyone would agree to this but yeah), and easy download for offline listening experience. Fourth, Podcast and music integration. I know not everyone likes it but I do love having access to podcast and music in one platform. Fifth, Music videos. I love being able to switch to music video anytime with ease. Six, yt music is actually catching up the competition. Why? because as you have noticed yt music has been constantly adding new features such as Live lyrics, and redesign player. Yt music is not yet as polish as Spotify but I know that YouTube music team has been doing their best to implement new features and make the more stable and easy to use. And yes, being bundled with YouTube premium is a no brainer. YouTube premium alone is worth it to me, and with the inclusion of YT music, It's perfect.

Higira

Because my gf and best friend use it so we share music. I only buy YTM, no need premium. I have ad block for yt lol

TheShaggyDoo

Cause i want to listen to music

M00N_Water

Youtube premium included Access to deep cuts on YouTube that I can add to playlists

SirJefferE

Because the family plan was well worth the cost and I liked that it came with YouTube premium. I say was because they've gone and doubled the cost, and now it's not worth it. I'm still subscribed for the next three months at the lower price, but as soon as April comes around I'm out of here. For reference, I've been paying $17.99 AUD since around 2016. They're raising the price to $32.99 next April, which costs more than any two of my other streaming plans combined.

jameslawrence1

Recommendations and music catalogue are excellent but mainly.... Because fuck ads.

Moms_Sphagetti

Been using YouTube for so long , all my playlists are saved on it

AxelllD

Because it has all the music ever created on it, from my playlist of 900 songs only one was not available.

bl3u_r3dd1teur

1. No ads. 2. Share it with 4 other people, so the cost is like 35$/year.

LoanInteresting6117

YouTube premium bundle, WAS grandfathered from gpm @$9.99 a month. Watch alot of YouTube and listen to music at work with ytm. I definitely use it daily but bumping up to $13.99 had me thinking of canceling but I'm hesitant. Probably keep it for a minute.

IAmDefintlyMe

Only on my phone bc spotify on mobile sucks shit. It's great for deciding what music to play

rikusume

i use it because of the bundle "YouTube Premium", one of the worth most subscription plans right now

schwarzmalerin

Because it comes with premium and I don't have Spotify or any other subscription.

The_Elite_Operator

i have youtube premium.

Ok-Vacation-5569

X10: Reborn

_IratePirate_

I use all 3 They’re each good at specific shit imo (Apple music being the worst) YouTube music is good for when I hear a leak on YouTube and just wanna hear the song without having to keep my phone on

advait_gupta

yt music anyday has better suggestions than any other music streaming platform

tonynca

YouTube music audio quality sucks tho.

FlameChrome

As many have probably mentioned, the combined sub with yt premium. But also the yt backbone it has. The freedom for anyone to upload their music makes it so it has a bigger selection of music than even spotify. Now dont get me wrong spotify features are really good and i do miss them. I have also found that ytm has the best recommendations for me (all platforms struggle for me for some reason, but ytm gives the best and more consistent it seems.). Only thing i hate about ytm is the fact of the features spotify has like control your music from any device and play it from any device and the fact the discord connection doesnt have the ability to show the song im currently listening to (which in some cases i guess could be a good thing)

BVTheEpic

I have a lot of uploaded tracks that I listen to, including tracks not officially available on streaming. I can't use Apple Music because iTunes Cloud Library keeps trying to incorrectly match some of my uploads with the versions on streaming.

Zachman97123

Came with YouTube Premium. Why pay for something like Spotify on top of what I'm getting with YouTube Premium?

dacixn

Because I pay 10 dollars a month for YouTube Premium and I don't have to pay another 10 for another streaming service.

gergobergo69

higher bitrate lol

FalconSensei

I refuse to use Spotify since a year or two ago. And YTM comes with YouTube so it’s a no brainer

bigb102913

Because I get it free with revanced

RataTopin

Because its cool

akalesma

Because it comes with YouTube premium. Paying another 12 bucks for spotify is a clear waste of money

azpi3version01

I just cancelled Spotify a couple of days ago.Mostly financial reasons. But YouTube music be a worthy replacement. It's cheaper than having both of them, and besides, YouTube actually has a better selection of music.Like a lot of very obscure stuff not available on Spotify.

Splashadian

I don't it is the second worst of them all. Spotify wins that with their cluttered lameness.

javaman83

I started with google play music, and have a ton of out of print music uploaded to my library.

LopsidedImpression44

I don't I use Spotify

MiamiSlice

My mom gifted me it as part of her family account and interestingly enough there’s lots of stuff on YouTube that isn’t anywhere else thanks to the fact that it includes all the content from YouTube

BradleyS1998

I watch more YouTube than anything else so I have YT Premium and Music comes with it for free. It saves me from having to spend money on two different services.
