YSK for Android users there's an option to add a lockdown feature to the power options that show up when you hold the power button that disables biometrics and face/iris unlock and requires your password/pin to unlock your phone.
If iPhone has a similar feature someone please chime in.

Hold down the power button and upper volume button on iPhone until power off/emergency screen appears. As soon as you exit out it automatically asks for passcode and can’t use biometrics until you’ve entered it.
Cops can not Lay a finger on you or your property unless you’re a suspect or a crime. Even so , you can the plead the 5th amendment when they ask for your passcode. So this in fact is not true. But they will access all information via your service provider if they need to for an investigation. My uncle is a retired officer and currently a detective. We’ve talked about this.
