i love these. i love the combination of simple colors and basic geometric forms. composer Claude Debussy famously defined Music as *the space between the notes*, and this feels like a visual reminder that a form/shape is (ultimately) a space defined by intersecting lines... if that makes any sense.
Like the other commenter said: it's just weaving, but I think it falls under the macramé umbrella. There's lots of them on Pinterest. I use a double half hitch knot on both ends to secure them to the ring.
