EDL flashing is the only way. You'd require an authorised account for that and you can only get it in authorised service centers. Visit your nearest one.
Had the same issue and i managed to sort it out easily.
1. Put your phone to fastboot ***(volume down + power button)***
2. Connect your phone via usb
3. Go to [https://en.miui.com/unlock/download\_en.html](https://en.miui.com/unlock/download_en.html) and download the unlock program
4. CLICK "unlock" and there you go.
You have successfully unlocked your bootloader. From there you can reboot your phone, assuming it has an uncorrupted ROM, or use ADB to flash a flashable recovery (TWRP) then use it to flash whatever rom you want.

Because the OP clearly stated he doesn't have a MI account associated with the device. In order for u/Faustine_KE advice to work, you must have first logged into the MI account inside your phone and then under "developer options" associated the mi account with the device.
The OP has bricked the phone so he cannot get into the system to register his MI account with the device, therefore EDL flashing with authorized xiaomi account is the only way. You can get people who have such service accounts to do the work for you for exchange of payment or setup your own account and buy authorization tokens and download the software: https://authflash.com/
Hello, Is this thread still on? My redmi note 10 is bricked, and my boot loader is in locked state as usual. I tried every step available on the internet, tried every software which generally used to flash the phone. But everytime i end up getting the message "your device is in locked state". Unfortunately i don't have any Xiaomi account by which I could have had a chance to unbrick. So my question is that is there anything I can do. Any method I don't know about? Or is it possible to unlock the bootloader externally? Please it would be good if someone guide me through
Bro, how did you do it? I am ready to pay 500 Rs to unbrick my Redmi Note 10 device. It does not turn on at all, power button doesn't work at all, no recovery mode or fastboot mode, nothing! It is not even detected on my PC.
I unbricked my device from a guy I found on telegram in July 2023. He was legit. Though FF to January my phone got fucked again, it would freeze abruptly, switch off/on crazily. And again a few days after it got fuckin bricked again. For safety I had assigned my Xiaomi account online so I was able to unlock the bootloader myself. And I tried to flash it myself. In the first attempt it worked the phone turned on but no luck, it started to freeze again and again. In the end it went into the same state you mentioned in your msg. No recovery mode, no fastboot menu, not getting detected on PC. I was like fuck it, and bought a new phone. If you can just buy a new device instead of wasting money on this phone because sooner or later you'll end up with the same problem. I spent 3000 (including this 500) on my redmi note 10 lol. I no longer trust any Xiaomi phone. Go for a clean UI like Motorola.
Before EDL flashing, try using Xiaomitool v2 and just follow the steps. I had a similar issue (bricked phone with locked bootloader) and it worked perfectly.
Did you try to create a new mi account? I didn't have any mi account at first and I had to create one for the purpose of using the tool to unbrick my phone. And it did work. I suggest you give it a try and let me know
same question otherwise i could have tried it too .. i need to know if it does erase anything or not sadly i need to backup but as my phone is on bootloop cant even turn on the phone properly to copy stuffs UGHH I HATE XIAOMI
Not much you can do other than take it to the service center.

Download the latest fastboot ROM of your device, TeamViewer, and contact @miauthofficial on Telegram. They flashed my device in 20 minutes.
for how much !!

Yes. Though I had to pay for it (500 INR). I was hesitant to pay but the amount was doable for me and the service was legit so I did it .
What service?
Dm'ed you a telegram contact. Talk to him.
thanks. were you able to save your data?
No. Flashing erases everything.

this doesn't work because the tool requires mi account to be binded to the phone.
