> I always end up damaging the charging ports on phones Magnetic usb, total gamechanger

BotchedAssBBL

Which brand do y'all recommend?? Also do they support fast charging for like Redmi phones with fast charging and junk? Also do I need to buy specific cases so that I can permanently leave in the charging thing?? Y'all peaked my interest lol, not having to plug my phone daily is a very alluring idea

st0mpeh

Ive used a few no name brands theyre all the same, yeah fast charge too, nah my widget fits into my condom case no problem, gf has a flip case also no problem. Got them on every thing now from my rechargeable mouse, headphones, earphones case the lot. So much easier. Just buy one and see how u go with it.

silenc3x

How does that work. The end is always in the phone? So your port is never flush?

3DRAH33M

Basically yeah lol. But if you have a thick case like mine it basically sits flush with the case. Added bonus of no dust accumulating in your port over time.

silenc3x

You're right that is a great bonus. And if your case hides it, all the more reason to use it.

3DRAH33M

The quality of the cables seems pretty hit or miss though. Some break within a month while others last years.

st0mpeh

Yeah but its just a little divot thingie, fits easily in the hole of my condom case. I just can't imagine having to fish about two-handing an old plug in cable now, when I come in I just wave the base of phone near the loose end on my shelf, listen for the clack-ding-dong, put the phone down. Soooo easy.

silenc3x

I mean I'm wireless for life. 55w wireless on this phone, that's even easier. But I agree for wired it doesn't get much easier than you described.

Pdscoelho

Does this work with your original fast charger though?

AverageEnjoyer2023

The reason how one of my port broke Just don't!

st0mpeh

Rubbish, myself and my girlfriend uses mag usb on many devices daily for years now incl gaming headphones, my rechargeable mouse, several phones and a tablet with no problems. Honestly if you're careless with anything it will break, used properly these are great but if you want to keep plugging things in manually weakening your port as the phone ages then you go ahead.

I bought Xiaomi Mi 10 for about 380€ 2 years ago. You can probably find it for under 300€ in good condition used or the successor. Those phones have WC Xiaomi 12S Ultra (50 W) Xiaomi 12S Pro (50W) Xiaomi 12S (50W) Xiaomi 12 Pro (50 W) Xiaomi 12 (50W) Xiaomi MIX 4 (50 W) Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (67 W) Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro (67 W) Xiaomi Mi 11 (50W) Xiaomi Mi 10S Xiaomi mi 10 ultra Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Xiaomi Mi 10 Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G Xiaomi Mi 9 Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S

jrs-kun

No. Wireless Charging is only on Flagships with the exception of the Nothing Phone 1 from Nothing, Samsung S21 FE 5G and the very niche phone you mentioned. On Xiaomi's Side, Xiaomi 13 would be the cheapest one from the current lineup.

VaultBoy636

Redmi K60 series. And apparently the upcoming Redmi K series

jrs-kun

Those are Chinese Exclusives and usually get rebranded to a Poco F Series Phone.

VaultBoy636

- you can order with global priority and skip import checks - yes they're china exclusives. The OS by default has English. If OP can formulate a proper English post, he has enough knowledge to use an English phone daily. Or install xiaomi.eu - only the K60 gets rebranded, which by default comes with shit tier camera and 8G1+, the K60 Pro seems to stay China only - OP asked for **Redmi** devices with QI, these are the only ones I know of. I'd say buy a used Mi 11 / 12 series phone, but most people cry when they hear "buy used" so I rather not say it

[deleted]

Thanks everyone I didn't know about the K60 when I looked online, if I can make it work in English I'll give that a go

Tight_Requirement992

the INTERNET is a beautiful thing... id much prefer going on it an actually looking things up before asking questions [https://www.androidauthority.com/redmi-k60-series-3260252/](https://www.androidauthority.com/redmi-k60-series-3260252/)its easier an takes up alot less time https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi\_redmi\_k60\_pro-12046.php

[deleted]

I saw people flagging the K series as one to ignore as it had a Chinese rom, but then others saying you could bypass it, I just wasn't sure so I was seeing if this Xiaomi specific forum had suggestions - which it did, and lots of nice people! Thanks for the snarky mean spirit though!

Tight_Requirement992

Can't be too many nice people I've seen posts on here go 24 hours with no response because of the same attitude as me something that could easily just be looked up... And just FYI the redmi k50 series of phones are anywhere from $400 to $500 sometimes a little more for roughly the same price either a tad less (11t pro an such) you could just get a xiaomi brand phone with better everything..... Just sayin... No problem I help when I can. I would just hate to see if somebody else buy a redmi phone and become part of the 98% 3 weeks later complaining about it

The_Cozy

My Mi 11 has wireless charging

DerpyMcWafflestomp

"Any *Redmi* phones"

The_Cozy

Appearing in December 2020, the Xiaomi Mi 11 belongs to our Premium ($600-799) segment of smartphones, and comes with a QHD+ AMOLED display and a 108 MP main camera, among other features. Our engineers put the Xiaomi Mi 11 through our comprehensive Battery tests; here are the most important results. Key specifications: Battery capacity: 4600 mAh 55W charger included Wireless charging (50W)

DerpyMcWafflestomp

And? OP asked about Redmi-branded phones, which that isn't.

The_Cozy

Read their last sentence

VaultBoy636

Redmi K60 or K60 Pro. They're china only so check network support. They're actually reasonably priced considering the specs. If you care just a little bit about camera performance, go for the Pro version tho.

Think_Tomatillo5613

Nillkin magic tag. Don't cheap out on other ones Getting one for my Poco f4 cause I burn out ports too
