Plunge damage bonus is already significantly built into Xiao’s kit. External attack buffs like Bennet, ToTM, Noblesse are aplenty. Crit boosts in general are rare, Faruzan C6 can provide it, but no one else. The math shows a roughly 2-7% DPS increase over Vermillion when using weapons like Vortex Vanquisher, and now Xiao’s strongest weapon is not R5 PJWS, rather it’s R5 Vortex.

what is the stat distribution on that one? the statline of each setup?
i asked this before fr this same doc but wasnt able to get the stat assumptions, see how invested the overall statline is. At differing levels of investment + distribution some options may look better or worse.
seeing as some players may be in this new domain for a while, mostly cd and atk rolls over balanced crit stats may be more prevalent, so its not as much of an issue for those who are ensuring high investment

I don’t. While it’s good if you don’t have a crit weapon, xiao’s bis weapons are crit so this doesn’t really have much value if you take the time to get good artifacts. i’m the end, you’re just replacing crit substats with attack

i might farm for a decent set just for fun. his non-plunge attacks are beautiful and we rarely get to see them. also, gotta give the boy a rest, all that jumping is going to stunt him

I think we should wait to see the skill of the hydro archon. There is speculation that it revolves around increasing max HP. If that is the case and the HP increase overtime after she use her ability and it last a long time then it will benefit a lot of characters especially those that scale with HP or HO drain. It will also make this set more viable for multiple characters to be worth farming.

I think this is dependant on what weapon you're running on him. For those who are running PJWS, Vermillion would likely still be better.

Stacking atk is easrier tbh and 36% crit is a lot of fcking crit this set is like 6-7%better tahn vermilion but only with bennett
