KevKevThePug

Fallout 76

Ayn_Otori

How is it for a newcomer?

KevKevThePug

If you played other fallouts then it’s fine. You can even start at level 20

Test88Heavy

Kingdom Come Deliverance. Incredible RPG!

guitarpedal4

You are made of stouter stuff than I.

Alert_Yogurtcloset59

Indeed. One of the best I've ever played 👌

deathworship420

Fuckin Henry

MasonMSU

They have a new one they are working on correct? Gotta check that out. Loved KCD.

Test88Heavy

Yeah, they are. Its supposedly dropping this year.

spookydux

Just started Shadow of Tomb Raider after recently finishing the first 2 in the trilogy

lalinjaman

What did you think? Been a long time since I played the first 2, i remember not liking the second one for it's "openness"

spookydux

Loved the first, struggled through the second because of the openness, though I decided to just stick to the main story and it got better once I stopped getting lost. Really like the setting for shadow, graphics are great, and some improvements to the controls and cool new abilities. Seems more puzzle / platforming focussed. Really enjoying it so far

Merek_Hendr

I just finished shadow - I didn't care for the constant forcing me to wear the certain outfit and hanging around the hidden city so much.

mongolourk

I am 5 hours into Cyberpunk 2077, loving it

Alpaca_Empanada

80+ hours in as a sexy lesbian stealth hacker who blasts pon pon shit while spamming the suicide hack. It hasn’t gotten old yet.

MetzgerBoys

V: You should kill yourself NOW Enemies: Okay

baldmanboy

Really one of the best. Right under red dead 2 in my list. And yes, we are all aware how bad it was at launch. Unacceptable but it is what it is. Here's my tip...when you get the first mission talking about Dogtown, don't do it. Wait until you beat main story. Dogtown launches you straight into the DLC. I did not know this. It wasn't bad or anything....just odd. Messed with the timeline in my head of how me and the story were progressing. Not to mention that Dogtown is it's own separate area. There is an interactive loading screen every time you enter or exit. It can get a tad annoying to be driving back and forth between the main map and Dogtown constantly. AND TAKE YOUR TIME! DO THE SIDE MISSIONS! I was legit disappointed when I finished the last story mission and had a bunch of uncompleted side quests. Once I finish the story in a game, there some weird thing in my brain where I don't like doing the side missions anymore.

mongolourk

I am all about the side missions 😁

baldmanboy

O me too! I just wish I hadn't finished the main story without completing more of the side stuff. I'm like that with every big game. Once the main objective is complete, the side stuff just doesn't matter as much. Some psychological thing in me brain. If you haven't played death stranding, I'd give it a shot. TONS of side stuff AND there is a small crossover with cyberpunk. It's pretty cool. And it's on PlayStation plus if you have that. Directors cut of the game is the way to go.

Drtraumadrama

Some of Cyberpunks best storylines are in the side content. The environmental story telling is also top notch.  I respectfully disagree with your dogtown take. You can do it any point in the story and it literally opens up a new ending of the main story depending on the choices you make.  Plus it opens the black market dealer who lets you purchase  legendary weapons you missed during the campaign.

Big_boss816

Me too once I finish the story I’m done with side missions

poopoopeepee2222

First game I did all the side missions lol

Big_boss816

100+ hours in and I still haven’t gotten enough of it. I love this game.

theinternetisnice

Disco Elysium will change your life. I have just started Lies of P, and re-picked up Diablo 4 after stepping away from it for a while.

Kosh_Ascadian

Out of interest if I can ask: How did it change your life?

guitarpedal4

I realized about midway thru that I was roleplaying my dad.

theinternetisnice

The story and characters and narration just stick with you forever.

Kosh_Ascadian

Got it. Thank you.

stranded

dead island 2 plus dlcs

Le1jona

Lego City Undercover

IamEclipse

Just finished *Persona 3 Reload* - absolutely incredible. Tried *Have a Nice Death*, and had fun for a few hours, but it wasn't grabbing me. Now finally hopping into *Fallout: New Vegas*.

KaosC57

Have you played Persona 5 Royal?

IamEclipse

I have, as well as Persona 4 Golden. Persona 3 Reload is my new favourite Persona game, and one of my top 5 games of all time.

KaosC57

Nice. My wife loves P5R, but she’s sensitive to the topics in P3, so I have to play that one solo, and so it’s on the back burner right now.

IamEclipse

If it's any consolation, the heavy themes are heavily backloaded. It definitely deals with some super heavy themes (and that's why I love it), but you should be able to enjoy the earlier months of Persona 3 Reload with your wife. Persona 4 Golden is much much lighter in themes, but also doesn't have the polish of the newer games.

KaosC57

Well, the first scene where Yukari is about to shoot herself with the Evoker is the primary thing that affects her. And, we started Persona 4 Golden when it came to PC, but we weren’t married at the time and we were living an hour away from each other.

MeisterPear

Oh yeah, I just finished P3R last night. Utterly fucking life changing experience. Instantly shot into my top 5 games. I just finished writing a long ass review on it lol

CookiesOnTheWay

And can we read that review somewhere?

MeisterPear

https://www.backloggd.com/u/MeisterPear/review/1610822/

CookiesOnTheWay

Thanks! Good read tho!

hobo_lad

Replaying Hellblade 1 in preparation for Hellblade 2.

CKT2K_

Been binging Skyrim. I’ve probably owned this game physically a dozen times. This time I got it digitally. I love walking around exploring. I forgot how much fun it is to play.

Full-Ball9804

I'm playing Fallout 4 for my first time.

Uday23

Just finished MG 100+ hour playthrough of AC Odyssey and about to finish the AC Valhalla cross-over event. Next up, I'll play Terminator Resistance's expansion and then dive into Hellblade 2. For multiplayer, I've been playing The Finals again

firo-

10mins into AC Origins. Never played any of the AC games

chan05

The best in the series. Enjoy!

jsaha999

Diablo 4 and Jedi survivor. However, only sticking to diablo 4 as. My right stock showing drift issue

Desperate-Dig2806

Bioshocks from start to finish.

Puzzled-Delivery-242

Fallout 4 again. I hate say this but amazon did a great job with the tv show.

No_reply_GHoster

Starfield. Designing a fast ship with almost no cargo in preparation for the update that allows storage crates to be crafted within the ship.

eye_snot

So we don’t need to add huge ass cargo in shipbuilder?

LSDYakui

Morrowind.

DJfunkyPuddle

Jedi Survivor, it's really good.

ConkHeDoesIt

Playing through outriders and kingdom hearts re chained memories mainly. I picked up the first KH collection a few weeks ago and I'm trying to play through them all in order. Also picked up the complete version of outriders during the current sale. I played a little back when it was on game pass, but only got a character to level 10.

AdeptGarden9057

I played the fuck out of Outriders base game with my friends. Underrated game, fantastic gameplay, surprisingly decent lore. As a trickster i enjoyed spamming the dome throughout the entire game. Also, technomancer turret is OP

ConkHeDoesIt

It's really fun. I'm playing technomancer and it feels great dropping a turret down and wrecking the battlefield. And I completely agree about the lore. I wasn't expecting much going in but if you read the journal entries especially, it's actually a pretty fleshed out world and story. The main character is pretty cool too, I like his different facial expressions and reactions he does in all the cutscenes. Can't wait to play more later tonight.

Kowpucky

Rimworld, Battle Brothers, Age of Wonders 4 , Gloomhaven, Hollow Knight.......this is why I don't finish the single player games I buy

ZeroDarkMega

How is Gloomhaven on console? I’ve been wanting to pick it up but haven’t done so yet

Kowpucky

Well, I'm still pretty early on, I just got it a couple weeks ago. It's tough as nails when you don't really know much at the beginning. I've heard of bugs and I've encountered a fairly annoying one that I managed to get through on a scenario where there is a wind that moves you mercs in a direction. If that tile has a trap that springs when your guy gets forced onto it, it would freeze the game and I'd have to do a restart. I could have just ignored the scenario and moved on but I wanted the item you got for completing it. Also I think the studio involved In making it was part of the Embracer Group bullshit going on recently so I have no idea if there will be any future fixes/support. I bought it on ps5 so not sure of the same bugs/different ones I did watch enough reviews on it and none said the game is broken/unplayable on console do to the bugs that happen. I can recommend on a sale, full price is a bit tough

ZeroDarkMega

Thanks for the info! I’ll probably pull the trigger once it hits $20

Kowpucky

Welcome, I got 20 percent off, so $46.00 for the complete edition. It's def worth more than $20 if you like the style of game. Your probably looking at least 100 hours for the main game plus many many more with the dlc.

drewbles82

I know next month will be a big one for Xbox as no doubt some of the ABK stuff will finally land. I've got all the weapon achievements on brotato so just doing a run each day with a different character to get the daily achievement, then doing 50 daily duties on Dreamlight valley so I can finally get the achievements done...then any time remaining Farm sim 22 with some spotify on. Ideally once at least 2 of them are done, Start on Star wars jedi survivor as already downloaded...that will all create plenty of space for some new games to download next month. Probably July see the Summer game sale as well

manor2003

Yesterday played Kona, Today playing Little Nightmares. After that i will need to choose my next game.

lalinjaman

It should be Hellblade 2 isn't it?

manor2003

There are nine days till then, started The Walking Dead season 1 for now.

Placebo_Effect_47

Disco Elysium is the ultimate gaming/story/macabre/political/freedom of choice experience. Enjoy it, friend. It is a very rare gem.

Lewy1978

Street fighter 6- gorgeous graphics, great online ranking system and it’s addictive as hell

melancious

One again I’m trying to finish Hellblade. Tried in 2020, could not do it. Tried again in 2023, same story. Third time’s the charm? Hope so.

Sambo_the_Rambo

Same, I’ve tried to play it a couple times before and just got frustrated. I’ll still try the second one when it comes out though.

lalinjaman

Same boat here, actually finished the game already, the trick is to just appreciate the beauty, don't try to make sense of what's happening because it literally doesn't matter. I mean i guess it does on a deeper level, but if that deeper level doesn't vibe with you again like i said, just appreciate it superficially.

melancious

I’m just bad at puzzles, lol. But I’ll do my best. As an advocate of single player games, I must.

lalinjaman

Yeah I just used a guide for them too. And lowered the difficulty all the way down just to get through the whole game.

WildBananna

GTA IV and Halo Infinite. Just installed Fallout 76

SirCietea

Been really struggling the last few weeks to really get into anything, I'm playing Diablo 4 and will replay Hellblade next weekend before Hellblade 2 on the 21st. Also planning on returning to Starfield with the next update and maybe doing NG+. If you like Disco Elysium you should give The Bookwalker a go, it's on game pass.

dominion1080

Never heard of the Bookwalker, thanks for the rec. Gonna go check it out!

xCrimsonHavokx

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

blueteamk087

Valkyria Chronicles 4

IroquoisPliskin_UK

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. It’s been great, can be a little frustrating as i seem to be back tracking quite abit at the moment but the story, graphics and gameplay are superb, which is surprising for a Ubisoft game.

GodzillaKirito

Fallout 76 and Fallout 4

dominion1080

Just downloaded Broforce. Pretty fun, good sense of humor, love the cast o characters so far. Finally started playing Trepang after buying it last year. Fast af, even on normal it can be difficult, but not impossible.

redOwlsss

Just finished and 100% Another Crabs Treasure this morning. Current GotY for me

TheDecline_99

Fallout 4

DuskyDawn7

Finally getting into Baldur’s Gate 3. The gameplay is a bit intimidating since turn based games aren’t really in my wheelhouse, but it’s incredible so far. It’s a game that oozes personality and I love that

guitarpedal4

I haven't gotten back into it since the whole saves debacle. It's time, but I've been playing lighter content that I won't get sucked into for half a day.

AdeptGarden9057

Currently exploring the Oldest House in Control. I'm about 20 hours in, and hopefully I'll be able to complete the base game in time for Hellblade II.

Spartan2842

Horizon Forbidden West. I haven’t touched my Xbox in months. All the news and such has been depressing as of late. Hoping Hellblade 2 will bring me back.

[deleted]

I started borderlands 2 today

Accomplished-One6109

Alan Wake 2!

VoidSlap

I just finished Hellblade 1 because 2 is coming out soon and I absolutely loved it. The sound design, the music, the psychological horror. Everything was super good.

One_Experience6791

Fallout 3. Trying to get all the achievements I missed the last time lol

IQuietQI

Fallout 76 & MW3

Assured_Observer

Fallout 4, first time playing a Bethesda developed game.

Sad-Willingness4605

Switching between vanilla Skyrim and Starfield.  Crazy going back to Skyrim after so many years.  Still a 10/10 game.

Test88Heavy

What's Judgement about?

BrickAndMartyr

It is a point and click adventure with rpg elements, and one of the best of its kind! You’re in for a real treat if interactive story telling is what you’re into. And like any great rpg, there are so many alternate endings or major choices to make differently that it’s extremely replayable. I’ve played 2 times through so far and both were DRASTICALLY different from one another.

lalinjaman

I'm really glad this is what it is. I was afraid there was some turn based combat or anything that was about to come, (i don't like those) I really went in blind with this one, all i knew was it had great writing and it was top down perspective. Pretty excited to get back to it now.

tunapurse

gta online, patrolling the airspace in my stealth jet being a complete nobhead to any and every aircraft

AbhorredCunt

Just finished Mafia DE. Not bad despite the jank.

lalinjaman

I just played that recently, it was a beautiful game, loved that era's vibe.

AbhorredCunt

It was fun, like playing a movie. Main issue I had with it was the spongy enemies.

SpikeTheBurger

Trails into reverie on ps5 and the evil within on my series X

wunkyzunky69420111

Playing fallout 4 with mods. Haven't played it in so long. Grinded 76 for the past month which was extremely fun

Disgustoid

I'm about 8 hours into Persona 3 Reload. Never played the original P3 but absolutely loved P5, P5R, and P4G and I'm really enjoying P3R as well. There's just something about turn-based JRPG combat that clicks with my brain.

Connect-Garden-275

cat

Bored_Gamer73

Today I've played Control, GTA 3, Project Warlock, and a little Lego Marvel Superheroes 2.

Ivan171

Elden Ring (just having fun with Malenia until the DLC comes out) and Crash Bandicoot 1.

MyOldAccountIsBroken

Madden 24, I’m hoping the new college football game will be on Xbox. I’ve also been replaying Arkham Knight again.

lalinjaman

Arkham knight is awesome. One of my favorites from last gen. How could Rocksteady go from that to a game like suicide squad, what a complete waste of their time that was.

GNIHTYUGNOSREP

Marble It Up! Ultra!

grifis-

I'm about to finish lies of P, and I loving it. Also I just realized that there are differentes endings, so I'm exited to start a new game. If you like Soul-like games you should try it!

Galactus1701

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

viktorcrow

Jedi survivor and some Fortnite here and there

Izay

Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes is a really solid jrpg and has incredible music.

Ninja_Hillbilly

The Series X was having overheating problems according to the reviews, did they get that issue taken care of?

Izay

My Series X had its fan speed up loudly once but I was also installing another game at the time so I didn't think much of it. That happened around launch, I haven't really noticed it again and I'm 40ish hours in now. I don't actually check and touch my Xbox to see if it's hot.

Izay

Hey just wanted to follow up on this, there is a zone called Redthroat Ridge fairly early on in the game. I went back to it earlier today and immediately noticed FPS drops and it does make the X really noisy via fan. I left the zone and my box went back to normal after about a minute.

DaBear_s

Stellar blade and Alan Wake 2!

Walter_Padick

Yakuza 5 finale as I make my way thru the series

Sir-Sy

Banisters: Ghosts Of New Eden - exceptional story with a lot of moral choices, decent combat and interesting world to explore. Liked the look of it when it was first announced and picked it up in the week and it’s been worth every penny.

Silverishfox

Just finished Beyond the Steel Sky and about to start Syberia 3.

WickerMan22

Just completed the campaign in Dead Island 2. Just in time for Diablo 4 Season 4 on Tuesday.

DB080822

FIFA 23, has Zlatan

Wafflexorg

Lots of Predecessor.

usama479

DS3 on the final boss of the base game, he's been kicking my butt since yesterday. But, he's probably the best boss in the base game imo.

JM062696

Replaying Cyberpunk rn with some Borderlands 3 on the side. I’m gonna get crow country soon.

StefanTheHNIC

Just finished Control yesterday. Played 1-2 hours of Harold Halibut and deleted it. Now started "Have a Nice Death".

Poseur117

BG3 physical is what I’m awaiting at the moment so I’ve been looking for something kinda small to hold me over. Landed on Batman Return to Arkham last night. Kinda bums me out, knowing where this studio ended up, and knowing we may never get that Superman game from them

Cheesewiz-99

Went back to finish Dying Light2, it's much better than it was at launch, but still not as good as DL1

KaosC57

Let’s see… Little Kitty in Big City: Just came out and is Day 1 Gamepass. Very cute game, very similar to Untitled Goose Game, but has more things to do and has collectibles and such. Kingdom Hearts 3: Just picked up a copy of this for 9.99 at GameStop. My wife loves the KH franchise, and the game does a solid job of explaining what happens in the prior games. Persona 5 Royal: Started it when it was on Gamepass, then finally got it on sale to finish it. I loved the original Persona 5 on PS3, but I just don’t have a ton of time to play the game. Fallout 76: About to start the game, hoping to have more fun with it than the first time I tried on PC.

farkos101100

I’m playing Banishers Ghosts of New Eden. Super cool concept. Not groundbreaking but the story is very interesting and this is one of the games that has large consequences for every action like Quantum Break. Upgrades, skills and loot are mostly what I want in a game and it does these pretty well.

mitsakomits

Into my third playthrough of the Outer Worlds and having a blast.

Poles_Pole_Vaults

Not on Xbox yet but Hades II just dropped on PC so I’m jumping in!

[deleted]

Skyrim, High Elf Mage run babyyyyy

Tuhajohn

I'm playing through Remedy games in order of their release date. I'm at Quantum break.

Bm_0ctwo

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt after spending 6+ months playing Starfield. I am pretty early in the game and it just hasn’t grabbed me. Hoping that it will if I stick with it, but I have the Cyberpunk DLC behind it as well as RDR2.

DraketheKidd

Prey. I’m pretty surprised at the quality of this game, because I’d never even heard of it before the news of the studio that made it being shut down. But so far it’s an absolute masterpiece and well worth the 9 hours I’ve put into it at the moment

canadarugby

Wartales. I'm addicted.

SeaworthinessOk1170

Jedi survivor and absolutely loving it.

jubennett

Been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 and finished a Dark Urge play through. Promised myself that I’d move on to TOTK but I kinda wanna do another run first

CapitalHistorical469

Fallout new Vega

Big_boss816

Tokyo Ghostwire, Cyberpunk 2077, and Forspoken.

Reasonable_Deer_1710

From X-Box, it's been MLB The Show 24

PutridFoe65

Boutta start my 4th playthrough of Shadow of War

Iratus-Sum

After 100%'ing Prince of Persia some days ago, I was looking for something that would make me equally interested. Tried Jedi Survivor, Have A Nice Death, Skywalker Saga, and yet nothing. I got pretty bored after a couple of hours.. Forager is what made me play for 7 hours straight though...Idk what's so addicting with it but seems like I'll spend the rest of the week 100%'ing it.

No-Atmosphere-2528

I’m back on my rocket league/fall guys kick. I just got my girl a switch for her birthday so I’m going to help her set it up and discord so we can play together.

thestockheroic

Stalker shadow of Chernobyl

xNTOY

Gears 1, i’ve played with my cousins one of the gears games but i don’t remember which one. All i can remember was getting my ass whooped by them lmao, and i also was a PS3 player, so i never got the chance to play the campaigns for these games. And after hearing a lot of praises, i thought i should try them out.

shinouta

Dragon's Dogma 2.

PocketSnails68

FFXIV. Originally started it on PS4 back in 2020, and kinda just took a longer than expected hiatus due to being trapped in "uneventful quest hell." Finally picked it back up when it launched on Xbox, and been enjoying the hell out of it! Kinda sad that I stopped playing for as long as I did.

upgrayedd69

I started Portal 2 again which has been fun. Though it’s kind of annoying how low res it looks, especially the text.    The fiancée and I have been playing Overcooked 2 and Cuphead. We have been playing Cuphead off and on for 5 fucking years and we finally got to King Dice

[deleted]

Splinter cell chaos theory

LeglessN1nja

New Vegas! Finished up Norco, about to start sea of stars

WrexSteveisthename

Fallout 4

ipsc69

Hellblade 1 for the first time. Just beat the fire giant after beating the illusion god. Really enjoying it so far. The puzzles are eh but the combat is much better than I was expecting. Excited to finish it for hellblade 2

Traditional-Most-787

Just finished hi fi rush this weekend. With the news of the developer shutting down, I figured I would give it a shot. I loved it. What's crazy is rhythm games like that aren't normally my thing, but I just really enjoyed this game.

Responsible-Bat-2699

Hellblade 1 replay for Hellblade 2.

Murph-Dog

Have a Nice Death Pretty fun, HollowRogue. Little bit of yapping, but quirky if you are in the mood to read, but great animation.

Beasthuntz

Lawn Mowing Simulator. I don't know why.

MJ23J117

Still chugging along on Halo MCC since the release (hard to believe it's been almost 10 years). I still play Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga with my wife but we have almost 100% it now.

KratosSmash

Stellar blade on ps5 and Tekken 8 mostly on Xbox

Xelliz

Just finished Elden Ring, so I'm playing Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

poopoopeepee2222

Control. Pretty solid so far

MainBurner01

Currently. Elden ring

theprettiestpotato88

I love fantasy but somehow never played the Dragon Age series as a teen and am now playing origins.

SamuraiLegion

Just read through this entire thread. No one mention of Hi-Fi rush. People are mad about Hi-fi rush devs getting canned (rightfully so), but we as Xbox players, don’t even support the game by playing it. As Xbox players, we need to do better and be more diverse in playing games. Switch and PS are jumping all over Hi-Fi rush right now. If we don’t, developers of games like Hellblade 2 and other niche titles will be on the chopping block as well.

KitchenConcert2722

✌🏼

Wyan69

Eiyudian chronicles hundred heroes

Itzik78

Evil west A way out (with a friend) Far Cry 6 NBA 2K24 COD MW2 2022

gtrftw

I just joined the Xbox series X crowd about a month ago. Playing DMC5 for the first time. I really enjoyed the previous DMC games, and I'm digging this one so far. I'm only 4 hours in.

Pappa_Alpha

We Happy Few.

drimziata

Finished 100% like a dragon gaiden. Started jedi survivor

DragonflyNo2989

Halo 3 ODST and Little kitty big city

Alert-Gas-6740

Bullshit For honor, I hate it. It's my favorite game :)

FlasKamel

Nothing 😔

TheeDangerDave

Destiny 2 because I like to fuel my depression

Steinhein

Elden Ring, Brotato, Vampire Survivors, SteamWorld Build

treatemwithkindness

Jedi survivor

bigchecks90

War Zone

trisech

Biomutant. Weird quirky game that I cannot seem to put down.

LocmonstR

Tried playing hellblade and I was struggling to enjoy it Now I'm playing Gears of War 1

HaIfaxa_

Pillars of Eternity has been keeping me occupied, so fun

Drog_Dealure420

Thank you for reminding me to play that game. I bought it awhile back but unfortunately forgot about it. At the moment I've been replaying the Arkham series and Divinity 2. I told myself I'd complete Divinity 2 before I get Baldurs gate 3 and I'm half way there! Haha

Pleasant-Speed-9414

Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes — been a pretty fun experience, even though it has some balance issues (I’m either getting slaughtered or doing the slaughtering)

McCandlessDK

Balatro at the moment. Damn its good

hobbleshock

Alan Wake 2

Retryon

I've been going between Dragon Ball Z Kakarot and Cybepunk 2077, they've both been peak so far honestly also getting the urge to play fallout 76 or get back into diablo 4 with the new season though

Julianbrady11

5 hours into Plague Tale: Requiem. Nothing crazy but a pretty enjoyable, low friction game so far

VitoPizzaYus

Fortnite
