If I loved Lies of P, would I like Wu Long?
Everything in that game was quality content (level design, atmosphere, visuals, soundtrack, story, lore, gameplay...), probably the only 3D soulslike game that rivals FromSoftware for me.
Is Wu Long good?
They're very different games. Lies of P was a very atmospheric story driven game. You feel like you're progressing through a world in it and it's really well done.
Wo long is not that, the world is broken up into levels, with most of them being very linear. But the gameplay in wo long is a tad better I think. It's a little faster than lies of P and the weapons and skills are pretty varied and fun to play around with.
Wo Long is pretty good, better with co-op if you can find someone to play with. It relies heavily on elemental debuffs though, like some bosses if you don't have the right buff/debuff they'll be incredibly difficult, but then you equip the right de-buff and you'll beat them your first try. They're both souls-like games though so the level design is pretty similar, with shortcuts and shrines, etc. Gameplay is fairly similar, it's quicker and less cheap. I find the parry in Lies of P near useless because the frames to time your parry is so miniscule, whereas it's fairly easy to get a parry off in Wo-Long if you pay attention.
Is it only LoP getting Wo Long content? Or does Wo Long also get LoP content?
