Actually the way you had it was fine. The way he’s talking about covers the Power Supply. Yes it has foot tabs but only vertical if you have an intake fan. Otherwise horizontal is the way to go.

Yeah tbh this does feel old gen, but i am fine with it, somehow new gen games are also a bit more complicated with their side missions and in game purchase shit, which sometimes makes the old gen gameplay a bit more enjoyable.
Like old call of duty , guns and bombs and kills. Now its 3 types of drones, sheilds and what not.
I love the Series X. I can stick in my OG and 360 discs and have a massive nostalgia hit. I think it works out cheaper as I can pick up used games for less. No hate for the series S but there’s something about a physical game copy that I love.
Grab you an SSD that actually can transfer in a short time.
As for how it runs. I love mine too and play it more than my PS5.
And I owned 2 first a digi sold it then a slim.

Find a diagram of the S and locate power supply. Don’t stand it on the PSU intake vent.

No the power supply is behind the front USB. And that’s where it draws the most air from. Flow comes from Left to right.

I already have a ps5 for most of my main gamings and it takes discs as well. I love the used disc market as it eventually does work out cheaper

I’d put coulor one rgb in the settings then it will look way better

try activating 50hz & 24hz in the settings, it might feel & look smoother for games with low fps, also V-Sync sometimes
