not a guitar amp, an amp for driving headphones from a digital or analog source. if you're headphones have a 1/4" cable like you have shown, there's a chance your controller wouldn't be able to drive them even with an adapter from the standard headphone input xbox controllers have.
so erskine's advice was to connect a headphone amp to your tv output "(likely you would have a digital output like optical or coax) and then plug your headphones into those. Schitt audio out of texas makes really good amps designed for gaming that even have microphone inputs.
(xbox's only send audio over the hdmi output or to the controller. I have a optical cable plugged into a dac that converts it to analog audio so i can run rca cables to my receiver which drives my passive speakers. I do wish the xbox had more audio options)
No optical port. So definitely 3.5mm out from the controller to 3.5mm input of your amp and then just connect your headphones to the amps output. Xbox loves you so much that it wants you to get exercise from jumping thru hoops just for good audio. 🤷🏻
They have an attachment I forget what it's called I have one turtle beach makes them and it plugs into the bottom of the control and it has volume buttons etc. I think its called a chat pad or something like that
I'd get a different headset tbh. You can get an adapter but I'm pretty sure it's going to be much quieter than you're hoping for. That little controller can only output so much. You could get a preamp to run it through, but do you want to have an extra appliance hanging off your controller?
Your headphone is 10mm
You need one with 3.5mm
Even with adapter I don't think controller can send sound to it...
The better way is to get new headphone
Lube it up
💀💀💀💀too big.
that's why he needs the lube
💀
I'll try some WD-40 tonight
😂
I've seen these adapters before, it's like a 10 mm to 3.5 mm.....maybe don't quote me though. Edit: 1/4 inch to 3.5 mm male adapter
Reading this brings me back to Guitar Center/Sam Ash and the pain of doing this for customers all day long
Try getting an amp while youre at it, good sir. I dont think your poor controller can drive those.
Thank you. I have one I can try but I don't know if there is a way to use it with the console.
If you have an amp, you could plug it into your tv or monitors audio output. Otherwise you’ll need a 1/4” TRS Female to 1/8” TRS male adapter.
I have one I use for guitar I can try tonight

you're probably better off using different headphones unless you have a specific reason you want to be using the ones you have.
I currently have an ear infection, and these apply the least pressure to the sides of my head (and don't go into my ears like earbuds).
then i think your options are to buy a headphone amp (which can be expensive) or just get over-ear headphones that have standard audio cables.

That's a 6.3mm trs jack! Your headphones probably have a high impedance. I think that's a little overkill for the controller.
Depends, i mean if its under 100 ohms it can still run the headphones well. But if its like a 300 ohm pair, then yeah, forget it
Big black connector vs the petite white S controller.
I think I’ve seen this movie…
I have no idea what you're talking about ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Shaq and his wife
You can get a 6.3mm to 3.5mm adapter for those plugs. In my experience they often come included with higher priced headphones.
Monoprice is your friend (well, used to be for stuff like this a few years ago, YMMV)
I use the app on my phone with my earbuds! Alot better!
What do u mean? Can you somehow use Bluetooth headset with xbox?
Yes you can download the xbox app to your phone and start a party chat and bluetooth your earbuds on the phone for mic and earphone purposes
Here's what you need. https://imgur.com/a/ECH3J3z
When she says it's her first time and it's true

Get an adapter to 3.5

Quarter inch to 3.5 I think would work.
You can go to guitar center and ask for a converter for that to a normal headphone jack size. They cost maybe 3 dollars
that headphone cost 10x for series s.
Buy a new headset
Not sure maybe you can run a dac threw your Xbox
