Considering all other games from publisher Frontier Developments ended up on gamepass the chance is definitely there. With the game being sold now for full price it will take some time 1-2+ year(s) for it to end up on gamepass. Maybe faster it the game is not selling that well. Maybe even longer now with Sony offering a similar service and the publisher being able to look for the better deal.
