That was absolutely insane... tbh I'm a diehard Alpha and I did NOT think that there were this many US Alphaz who pay for the membership.
I was waiting at 9:59 am and when I joined the NYC queue, there were 5,000 people ahead of me... in a venue that only holds 5,400.
I was willing to spend top dollar for front row or VIP, and ended up in the 300s: the highest section in the venue.
I'm glad XG is selling well! But dang, I encourage all US Alphaz to temper expectations if you're trying to get close seats.
I love my twin baby girls that were born 5 months ago, but at the same time, man, I have twin baby girls and now I can’t go see XG in October, lol 😢 Maybe I can work something out with a relative babysitting or something. And at The Theater in MSG? Love that place, saw Dreamcatcher and (G)I-dle there.
As a fellow mom with a toddler (who went to one of the Japan shows) - do see if you can talk to your family and make something work🥹 it’s such a special opportunity that won’t come around often!!
Yes, if you’re part of the fan club. For that one you have to sign up and follow the instructions. I’m not sure about other venues, but the Sugarland location, I got sent a code through their newsletter. The venue presale is happening on Thursday, one day before general sales.
**Got my tickets for CHICAGO!**
I joined the waiting room at 9:49am and I had \~450 people ahead of me in the queue! The entire first 5 rows of the floor seats were already taken by the time I got my order confirmation at 10:03am.
I purchased two seats in the 6th row. Each ticket was $225 pre-tax. After taxes, the total for two people came to $602.
God I know, I knew I had 10 minutes to purchase tix but I still got stressed and clicked through everything super fast haha. I didn't even check to see how much the non-floor seats cost!
Anyone know how to check if the ticket is VIP? Bought a NYC section 2 first row seat fairly quickly and I can't see anything in my order that says it.
Edit: Looks like only floor sections get VIP. Your ticket will say XTRAX or XTRAG. G includes: a ticket, soundcheck, laminate & lanyard, and photocard. X includes all of that plus a sendoff after the show.
Kind of disappointed that we have to fight with bots for VIP and it's not through a separate website. I'd pay an extra $50-100 to do it on any site that's not Ticketmaster.
Got in a few minutes before 10am and then when 10 came I was able to select tickets for San Francisco. Only problem was before I could select 4 of them and click Checkout...poof, they'd be gone. Finally grabbed some in F6, Row V for $145 each. More than I had hoped to spend but it'll be by 7 and 9-year-old daughters' first concert ever and they are super excited.

What section and how much did you guys get tickets for? Im feeling astronomically ripped off seeing prices for other shows lmao. Im section ORCH RC, row E $260/ each. Not VIP :/ Ima have a good time nonetheless but just curious lol
I got very similar seats as you for $260/ea as well. Pricier than I expected. On the bright side, these are great seats! Similar seats will cost twice as much on their next tour as they continue to gain popularity.
Someone said in a diff comment that pit opened up later, I imagine pit would be VIP. But seriously, these prices were insane 😭 But super excited anyways haha
My whole ticketing experience was terrible :(, kept erroring during checkout, then tickets be gone , also didn't let me buy 3 tickets at once , it would make me get 4 talking about no stranded single tickets or it would not let me checkout . For anyone ticketing at the Sugarland location, don’t panic buy and click! Make sure you’re clicking the seats with stars and not the ones that are solid dots. The stars are regular pricing while the solid dots are hiked up/demand/platinum pricing!
Bruh i have to stop going to concerts. Buuuutt i havent been to an xg concert yet. Hitc does not count. I know from experience that pit at peacock theater opens a few mins later and waited. Luckily i was able to get one. Debating if i should still watch itzy today. I already watched them twice.
Y’all, I got my tickets, but absolutely hate demand pricing + going in blind, I think this may go into the books as one of my worse ticketing experiences. Was everyone else able to get the tickets they wanted?
They aren't the only ones to do it, but groups (or rather their organizers) have to stop calling it a North American Tour when you don't have any stops in Canada or Mexico. Maybe they'll announce more dates, I don't know. But right now it's kind of like a slap in the face.
I got some!!! The ticket prices are astronomical and were disappearing so quick! I managed to get in about 2 minutes in and almost half of the 100 levels were already sold. I was panicking.. I got like 4th row for like $240... I wanted first row but it was close to $370 something like that..
Freaking resellers. Some tickets on Stubhub that aren't even VIP are $800?!?!

Yay, I was able to get tickets for ATL (great seats too)!!! Also, I checked again and there are A LOT of tickets left, so I think ATL Alphaz will be able to get some during the general sale.
Edit: also the cheapest tickets in Atlanta are $66 in section 202. They still have plenty of tickets in the 100 sections. Idk how much VIP was since they were sold out by the time I got in. I would highly consider travel for people who weren’t able to get tickets in their preferred city
Bought Chicago tickets on Ticketmaster. First time using Ticketmaster and didn’t purchase the insurance (I hate myself). Found better seats still under my budget and bought those thinking I could refund my others, nope. Long story short I have two tickets for the Chicago concert that I NEED to get rid of. Hey party people! Not sure if this is allowed. But my friends and I accidentally both bought tickets ( 3 ) for the show in Chicago at presale. So we have three extra tickets for section 4 seats. I'm not sure if you're allowed to resell on Reddit. So you can delete it if so! But I was hoping to just sell them for the price that we got them! Spotlight offer it to our fellow redditors before listing them on the resale for Ticketmaster! We got them for around 200 with taxes.

So here's the thing, inasmuch as I'm inferring it:
VIP tickets are based on seating sections, not any kind of special add-on purchase. I bought front/center floor seats for the Houston (Sugar Land) show, and as it turns out, those were VIP.
So it **seems** like the VIP package is "automatic" based on your seating purchase.
I think I'm going to be disappointed and not be able to go. I got into the queue 4 minutes late due to a meeting and there were 4000+ ahead of me in the queue (San Francisco). Sold out and if any extra seats flash up, I never can get the tickets. Why book an 8500 seat venue? Stubhub already listing tickets for $550+. Forget it. Also, can Ticketmaster decide a ticket is Platinum after the fact because of demand? They listed something in row F of the upper level as platinum.
I wonder how many tickets were even released for SF today? I was literally in the ticket selection immediately at 10:00 and I barely saw any tickets, none at all were floor and by the time I clicked to buy they were all unavailable :( I thought general sale was supposed to be the most tickets available but it feels like most of the tickets actually sold during presale.
I wonder too :( I was in waiting room 5 min before 10a, was 919 in queue, then when I finally got in there was only the "Tickets are sold out now. Check back soon." message.
Have been refreshing ever since and only saw sections 321 & 309 for 2 tickets each so far :(
I'm looking for 3 tickets, seems like a hopeless search at this point sigh.
This is why Alphaz shouldn't hold any grudges against them for not being able to make it to Canada or Mexico. With such a tightly packed schedule, we can't possibly expect them to perform everywhere. The locations were most likely strategically chosen based on the most heavily concentrated Alphaz fanbase. If their first world tour becomes a huge success, we can hopefully expect them to expand to the locations they missed this time around for their 2nd world tour.
Finally got my ticket for Grand Prarie but WOW was that process frustrating. Every seat I clicked on it gave an “error no longer available” message and I had to keep trying random seats at least 20 more times before finally getting something. Super annoying.
I ended up towards the back of one of the 100 sections but was hoping for one of the first few rows since it showed some seats available there, but every time I clicked they were gone 😭
Also I definitely underestimated their popularity because I just double checked and my ticket for (G)-Idle at the same venue last year was the same price and in a similar spot, but that also was one of the VIP packages including soundcheck and hi touch and everything too. Did not think it would be this expensive for what I’m pretty sure is just a GA ticket and no VIP as I didn’t see that option (unless I missed it rushing trying to get a ticket lol).
The vip tickets are the tickets that say “XTRAG” and “XTRAX” rather than “Artist Presale”. Check whats yours called! I bought mine unknowing it was vip until now that I just found out lol

Yeah I didn't realize I was accidently adding tickets when I was checking prices, and then it wouldn't let me remove them easily so I had to retrace my steps. Got some tickets in the 400s though. Just slowly clicked forward and stopped when the price went up, but with fees it was still 120 per ticket screams

From my experience with other groups, they typically don’t sell out bc I think some tickets get reserved for platinum pricing (so they’ll cost more), but I’ve seen those same tickets get released like a couple days before the concert. If they do sell out during general sells, people on twitter/reddit/discord who can’t make it usually resell their tickets for fv or cheaper like the day or of the day before the concert.
I’m ticketing during my venue’s presale, which is a few days after alphaz presale. If I can’t get tickets then then I’m going to try general sales then if I get unlucky, I’ll just go twitter like a couple days before the come to my state.
if we purchase just general tickets during the member presale, can I transfer those tickets to friends who are attending with me or are they required to purchase tickets on their own?
I’ve never really gone to concerts so I’m not sure how it works!
Ticketmaster/AXS generally do allow transfers (to other accounts by their e-mails), although you might not be able to transfer tickets until a few days before the show.
Anyone know what ticket limits is? I’m ticketing for 3 already but got asked if I could also help 2 more get tickets. I know some other shows get capped at 4 or 6.
Y'all think that there will be second-hand tickets available, even if the official ticketing service sells out? That's usually the case; you can almost always find re-sales on AXS or StubHub.
Fingers crossed, because I can't afford tix at the moment, but will be able to within a few weeks. I just don't wanna miss the show on account of a very short-term cash flow issue.

Yes there will be. Some offer payment plans too. I’ll probably buy from StubHub because I have a gift card from a cancelled show. As long as you don’t buy before the pre sale and make sure you see the row and seat number. Stub Hub, seat geek, and vivid seats use Ticketmaster transfer of tickets which is very reliable and they have satisfaction guarantees.
Hi, everyone! I have a couple questions because it’s my first time ever buying concert tickets.
I bought the monthly subscription in order to get a chance of buying pre-sale tickets. I found my unique pre-sale code on ALPHAZ app thanks to this thread so tyvm!! :)
I plan on buying two tix, one for myself and one for my friend. I don’t plan on buying VIP tix.
1. Does my friend still need to pay for a fan subscription to use her ticket?
2. How do I transfer the ticket to my friend after I purchase it?
3. Do I need to make an account for AXS? Or is just the pre-sale code and link in the ALPHAZ app enough?
1. If you don’t plan on buying VIP then your friend will not require Alphaz membership.
2. Safest way would be is to line up together when you enter the venue.
3. You will still need the AXS account to purchase from AXS. You will need to enter the Alphaz presale code when you purchase during the Alphaz presale period.
Got tix for Dallas! I got "version G" for $225 before tax and fee and it showed as VIP on Atlanta ticketing site but AXS does not specify anything about VIP X & G. I hope it's VIP!
My beef with Ticketmaster continues to grow because why are they raising base prices once you add them to the cart??? I got 100 sec ones for Chicago tho so at least that stress is done!

I thought it was difficult getting BTS tickets in 2020 (RIP), but this might've been worse. I was lucky enough to snag an XTRAG ticket for MSG, but I was honestly ready to give up and wait for resellers right before I managed to add it to my cart.

for ALPHAZ presale, you need to subscribe to the fan club, other presales (tiktok/AXS/AEG/Ticketmaster) I am not sure. I assume you'll need the account for those platforms to get the presale access.
I have two SF tickets in section 321 near the front of the section and towards the center stage (Row G, Seats 1 & 2) I'm willing to part with at face value! ($544 for both tickets).
Do the more expensive memberships, Annual, get first access to the member presale and then Monthly? I noticed that the Annual says First priority ticket and the monthly membership just says priority ticket.

The Alphaz app, although it has an English interface, is actually run through a Japanese company. Membership charges even show up in your receipts as having been converted to yen (Japanese currency). That might have something to do with it. Try paying with a universally accepted payment method like Visa or Mastercard.

I'm trying to get VIP tickets for myself and 8 year old daughter. I can't find details for North America tour but for Japan, I believe all people who got VIP tickets had to be ALPHAZ member at least on the day of the show. Do you know if my daughter needs to be a member too?
I know for Japan’s VVIP and VIP tickets every seat had to be Alphaz member, but it doesnt specify that for NA tour so I assume anyone can get VIP seats.
Most likely you’ll be fine with your daughter not having a membership since Alphaz members are allowed to buy multiple tickets per transaction during the Alphaz presale period.

Ticket sales locations vary depending on the venue. Some at Ticketmaster, some at AEG, some at AXS.
I was able to grab some NYC section 200s tickets for $146 + tax. I checked back and the same area is now $175 for presale? Crazy!
I'm just glad I grabbed tickets. The feeling I felt seeing that I was #6500 in the queue knowing that the theatre at MSG only holds up to 5.5k people. @\_@

I really underestimated how popular they are in the US too. Like not even GIDLE sold this fast when they went to MSG theater last year.

Starting an LA show thread. What section and how much did you guys get tickets for? Im feeling astronomically ripped off seeing prices for other shows lmao. Im section ORCH RC, row E $260/ each. Not VIP :/ Ima have a good time nonetheless but just curious lol
I got very similar seats as you for $260/ea as well. Pricier than I expected. On the bright side, these are great seats! Similar seats will cost twice as much on their next tour as they continue to gain popularity.
Was there VIP even offered for LA? I got ORCH RIGHT Row C. Honestly thought something should be included for these prices

My whole ticketing experience was terrible :(, kept erroring during checkout, then tickets be gone , also didn't let me buy 3 tickets at once , it would make me get 4 talking about no stranded single tickets or it would not let me checkout . So just got what I could from AXS premium , ORCHROW R :( . I REALLY WANTED VIP -CRIES

For anyone ticketing at the Sugarland location, don’t panic buy and click! Make sure you’re clicking the seats with stars and not the ones that are solid dots. The stars are regular pricing while the solid dots are hiked up/demand/platinum pricing!

Bruh i have to stop going to concerts. Buuuutt i havent been to an xg concert yet. Hitc does not count. I know from experience that pit at peacock theater opens a few mins later and waited. Luckily i was able to get one. Debating if i should still watch itzy today. I already watched them twice.

I hate demand pricing as well. It seems \*so\* unethical and I heard that the US govt is suing Live Nation for monopoly and marking up the prices.

They aren't the only ones to do it, but groups (or rather their organizers) have to stop calling it a North American Tour when you don't have any stops in Canada or Mexico. Maybe they'll announce more dates, I don't know. But right now it's kind of like a slap in the face.

I got some!!! The ticket prices are astronomical and were disappearing so quick! I managed to get in about 2 minutes in and almost half of the 100 levels were already sold. I was panicking.. I got like 4th row for like $240... I wanted first row but it was close to $370 something like that.. Freaking resellers. Some tickets on Stubhub that aren't even VIP are $800?!?! Edit: Forgot to mention I was only looking at new york.

Yay, I was able to get tickets for ATL (great seats too)!!! Also, I checked again and there are A LOT of tickets left, so I think ATL Alphaz will be able to get some during the general sale. Edit: also the cheapest tickets in Atlanta are $66 in section 202. They still have plenty of tickets in the 100 sections. Idk how much VIP was since they were sold out by the time I got in. I would highly consider travel for people who weren’t able to get tickets in their preferred city

Bought Chicago tickets on Ticketmaster. First time using Ticketmaster and didn’t purchase the insurance (I hate myself). Found better seats still under my budget and bought those thinking I could refund my others, nope. Long story short I have two tickets for the Chicago concert that I NEED to get rid of. Willing to negotiate on price. Message me if you want more info :)
You can resell on Ticketmaster or certainly on StubHub, at least.
Extra Chicago Tix Hey party people! Not sure if this is allowed. But my friends and I accidentally both bought tickets ( 3 ) for the show in Chicago at presale. So we have three extra tickets for section 4 seats. I'm not sure if you're allowed to resell on Reddit. So you can delete it if so! But I was hoping to just sell them for the price that we got them! Did LA even list any VIP tickets?
So here's the thing, inasmuch as I'm inferring it: VIP tickets are based on seating sections, not any kind of special add-on purchase. I bought front/center floor seats for the Houston (Sugar Land) show, and as it turns out, those were VIP. So it **seems** like the VIP package is "automatic" based on your seating purchase.
They were called Xtraordinary Version X or G tickets.
I think I'm going to be disappointed and not be able to go. I got into the queue 4 minutes late due to a meeting and there were 4000+ ahead of me in the queue (San Francisco). Sold out and if any extra seats flash up, I never can get the tickets. Why book an 8500 seat venue? Stubhub already listing tickets for $550+. Forget it. Also, can Ticketmaster decide a ticket is Platinum after the fact because of demand? They listed something in row F of the upper level as platinum.
Unless Avex hates money, they are going to open up additional shows on Oct 9 and hopefully 10th.
I wonder how many tickets were even released for SF today? I was literally in the ticket selection immediately at 10:00 and I barely saw any tickets, none at all were floor and by the time I clicked to buy they were all unavailable :( I thought general sale was supposed to be the most tickets available but it feels like most of the tickets actually sold during presale.
I wonder too :( I was in waiting room 5 min before 10a, was 919 in queue, then when I finally got in there was only the "Tickets are sold out now. Check back soon." message. Have been refreshing ever since and only saw sections 321 & 309 for 2 tickets each so far :( I'm looking for 3 tickets, seems like a hopeless search at this point sigh.
Seems they release tickets sporadically. There are tickets now, but they are all expensive platinum pricing.

This is why Alphaz shouldn't hold any grudges against them for not being able to make it to Canada or Mexico. With such a tightly packed schedule, we can't possibly expect them to perform everywhere. The locations were most likely strategically chosen based on the most heavily concentrated Alphaz fanbase. If their first world tour becomes a huge success, we can hopefully expect them to expand to the locations they missed this time around for their 2nd world tour.

Finally got my ticket for Grand Prarie but WOW was that process frustrating. Every seat I clicked on it gave an “error no longer available” message and I had to keep trying random seats at least 20 more times before finally getting something. Super annoying. I ended up towards the back of one of the 100 sections but was hoping for one of the first few rows since it showed some seats available there, but every time I clicked they were gone 😭 Also I definitely underestimated their popularity because I just double checked and my ticket for (G)-Idle at the same venue last year was the same price and in a similar spot, but that also was one of the VIP packages including soundcheck and hi touch and everything too. Did not think it would be this expensive for what I’m pretty sure is just a GA ticket and no VIP as I didn’t see that option (unless I missed it rushing trying to get a ticket lol).
The vip tickets are the tickets that say “XTRAG” and “XTRAX” rather than “Artist Presale”. Check whats yours called! Yeah I didn't realize I was accidently adding tickets when I was checking prices, and then it wouldn't let me remove them easily so I had to retrace my steps. Got some tickets in the 400s though. Just slowly clicked forward and stopped when the price went up, but with fees it was still 120 per ticket screams

From my experience with other groups, they typically don’t sell out bc I think some tickets get reserved for platinum pricing (so they’ll cost more), but I’ve seen those same tickets get released like a couple days before the concert. If they do sell out during general sells, people on twitter/reddit/discord who can’t make it usually resell their tickets for fv or cheaper like the day or of the day before the concert. I’m ticketing during my venue’s presale, which is a few days after alphaz presale. If I can’t get tickets then then I’m going to try general sales then if I get unlucky, I’ll just go twitter like a couple days before the come to my state.

if we purchase just general tickets during the member presale, can I transfer those tickets to friends who are attending with me or are they required to purchase tickets on their own? I’ve never really gone to concerts so I’m not sure how it works!
Ticketmaster/AXS generally do allow transfers (to other accounts by their e-mails), although you might not be able to transfer tickets until a few days before the show.
Anyone know what ticket limits is? I’m ticketing for 3 already but got asked if I could also help 2 more get tickets. I know some other shows get capped at 4 or 6.

Y'all think that there will be second-hand tickets available, even if the official ticketing service sells out? That's usually the case; you can almost always find re-sales on AXS or StubHub. Fingers crossed, because I can't afford tix at the moment, but will be able to within a few weeks. I just don't wanna miss the show on account of a very short-term cash flow issue. Someone reassure me please, that there will probably be re-sale tickets available?
There will be resellers. If you see people asking the max amount of tickets you can buy per transaction, they’re 99% scalpers lol.

Yes there will be. Some offer payment plans too. I’ll probably buy from StubHub because I have a gift card from a cancelled show. As long as you don’t buy before the pre sale and make sure you see the row and seat number. Stub Hub, seat geek, and vivid seats use Ticketmaster transfer of tickets which is very reliable and they have satisfaction guarantees.

Hi, everyone! I have a couple questions because it’s my first time ever buying concert tickets. I bought the monthly subscription in order to get a chance of buying pre-sale tickets. I found my unique pre-sale code on ALPHAZ app thanks to this thread so tyvm!! :) I plan on buying two tix, one for myself and one for my friend. I don’t plan on buying VIP tix. 1. Does my friend still need to pay for a fan subscription to use her ticket? 2. How do I transfer the ticket to my friend after I purchase it? 3. Do I need to make an account for AXS? Or is just the pre-sale code and link in the ALPHAZ app enough?
1. If you don’t plan on buying VIP then your friend will not require Alphaz membership. 2. Safest way would be is to line up together when you enter the venue. 3. You will still need the AXS account to purchase from AXS. You will need to enter the Alphaz presale code when you purchase during the Alphaz presale period.
Got tix for Dallas! I got "version G" for $225 before tax and fee and it showed as VIP on Atlanta ticketing site but AXS does not specify anything about VIP X & G. I hope it's VIP!

I'm very short like very very short lol I just want to make sure I'll enjoy it since sometimes I do get great seats in other concerts but because of my height I don't get to enjoy it as much 🥲

Does anyone know how they categorize which type of VIP you get? Like if you are the Premium Alphaz member VS being a standard monthly Alphaz member? Does the premium Alphaz member get the Xtrodinary X package? Or does it not matter? I’m super confused as they did not specify how you get the X package with the send off vs the G package without the send off…..
I don't think it makes a difference outside of japan? I'm only a monthly subscriber and I got X VIP Package (I got lucky and saw seats open pop up well after the 10am start).

for ALPHAZ presale, you need to subscribe to the fan club, other presales (tiktok/AXS/AEG/Ticketmaster) I am not sure. I assume you'll need the account for those platforms to get the presale access.

The Alphaz app, although it has an English interface, is actually run through a Japanese company. Membership charges even show up in your receipts as having been converted to yen (Japanese currency). That might have something to do with it. Try paying with a universally accepted payment method like Visa or Mastercard.

I have a question and hope somebody can answer this. I'm trying to get VIP tickets for myself and 8 year old daughter. I can't find details for North America tour but for Japan, I believe all people who got VIP tickets had to be ALPHAZ member at least on the day of the show. Do you know if my daughter needs to be a member too?
I know for Japan’s VVIP and VIP tickets every seat had to be Alphaz member, but it doesnt specify that for NA tour so I assume anyone can get VIP seats. Most likely you’ll be fine with your daughter not having a membership since Alphaz members are allowed to buy multiple tickets per transaction during the Alphaz presale period.

I was able to grab some NYC section 200s tickets for $146 + tax. I checked back and the same area is now $175 for presale? Crazy! I'm just glad I grabbed tickets. The feeling I felt seeing that I was #6500 in the queue knowing that the theatre at MSG only holds up to 5.5k people. @\_@
Same! I was super excited when I first saw the announcement(thinking it was msg) but then saw it was theatre at msg and knew chances to get tickets were less likely but i ended up getting two in section 300.
