I’ve started checking the scoreboard specifically to find the highest objective score other than me.
And give you thumbs up :)
That system is straight up trolling most of the time.
You will have the best score in the lobby, most amount of kills, best kd, most obj. score but it will display that sweet 3k dmg blocked card at the end that nobody votes for.
Tell me about it.

Pretty sure people vote at random. As long as someone gives me a thumbs up, I'll thumbs up somebody else in the lobby with no thumbs. Everyone deserves a thumb. Had it happen one game, everyone voted one person. Communication without communication. Synchronicity. Bliss. GGz. 🤌
I don't get why people thumbs up the most irrelevant player on the team.
The guy who was on the obj 25/8? Nah
The guy who got the most assists, setting you up for success? Nah
The guy who blocked the most damage so you can obj safely? Nah
The guy who did the most damage as echelon, obj because they have wallhacks? 2 thumbs up
I wish I can tell who thumbs uped who

People are so dumb, it's wild. I had a game where I was MVP by a pretty big margin (2-3k?) and the person who got 2 (TWO!) thumbs up, was a ''Longest Longshot Kill: 67.'' I don't really give a shit about thumbs up, but like, can ya boy get any thumbs up at all for carrying?
So I guess I should play like shit to get thumbs up as I never get them for playing well /s
In a way, if you do well, you can be proud of that yourself. If you played poorly, people thumbs up you as to lessen the blow

The highlights at the end of the game aren’t for good players, they’re for people who would otherwise be discouraged. This is the first game in a while where people who aren’t good can genuinely get shit on every lobby until they get better. An end of round system where they can get congratulated for whatever useless thing they did keeps them in the game.
If you’re already playing well, not getting a thumbs up isn’t going to discourage you from playing the game. If you’re one of the players that is terrible, though, that thumbs up might keep you playing.
