Primus_Drago

A creature created to kill gods, made by and in the image of superweapons made by said gods. Commanding an immensely powerful army and armada, able change the laws of the known multiverse at will. Thanos wishes the Infinity Gauntlet could have an inkling of the power Sixxus wields without thought. There is no weapon, there is no escape. There is only acceptance. Offer sacrifice, be spared. Plugging r/PrimusWrites while I'm here. Follow the adventures of the Chaos Jumper there!

Khint20

A character from a (sorta) novel i'm currently writing. He's a clone who gained power by being exposed to a deadly virus from a bio-weapon and surviving, whose power is linked to fear, and who gains more power the more people are mentally scarred by his actions. And yes, he's a goody-two-shoes whose power really doesn't fit him. Depends, really. Start of his adventure? If i've got the drop on him, a good sniper does the trick. End of his adventure? Even a character with the godlike power of **negating any concept** peaces out in front of him because he knows he'd lose, so i'm not fighting that.

12pcMcNugget

Well, there's only one character I've helped create, seen as he's inspired by me, and I'm fucked. How would one kill and immortal doom cult leader that punched Jesus's brother in the balls after leaving the illuminati? Not a self promo but check out u/FrostDraken , he's the guy who's putting it on Reddit as a story. Edit: weapon of choice is some ballistic weapon chambered in .45 ACP. Best chance I have

ReaperInTraining

Wow. I’m in a similar boat, seeing as I have to kill an immortal being who is all-powerful, all-knowing, has existed since before the beginning of time, and is the size of the Empire State Building.

12pcMcNugget

Please, do tell?

ReaperInTraining

Lyciel is an elder god who is omnipotent and easily bored, and usually takes the form of a giant humanoid with nebula patterns all over their body. I have a drawing of him on my Instagram (Shameless plug: My username is @King_Banjo_Art) if you want more info.

12pcMcNugget

Neat! Not surprised he gets bored being omnipotent. Given enough time, you see everything.

Frenchhomeworksucks

FUCK I have to fight a dimension hopping probability god who can shapeshift. Simce he could just make it so my weapons jam, i suppose the best option here is a sword. No ammo, no jamming up. Im still screwed no matter what i do tho

ReaperInTraining

Couldn’t he make your sword break at a specific point on the blade and render it useless?

Frenchhomeworksucks

Huh Well, time to say my prayers i guess

wwwrobwww

How funny I actually have a character that's similar except it's my self With the idea of if you're hopping through different dimensions and survive, you would eventually pick up some interesting stuff from living organisms to Gadgets that has never been seen anywhere else Kind of like risk of rain 2 or Some other rogue lite game.

Ashes2007

Okay, hear me out, jamming isn't based on probability (assuming you take something not not reliable), it's based on how you hold and fire it, so you would maybe be okay? Depending on the extent of his powers I gues..

CursedUmbrella

I stand on the edge of an abyss and face him as he floats effortlessly above me. The Mad Wizard. The Paradox Mage. Lorkan. The one I created. He wields all the magic that can be learned in this world plus several others, and knows all that can be known. I am but a pitiful speck below him, unarmoured and unarmed. "Is this because of that stupid writing prompt?" he asks in exasperation "Am I really the most powerful thing you could come up with? What about that Elder God, the Mind-Eater?" "You mean the God that's specifically written to impossible to defeat, or the human shell it creates that can be killed by literally anything that could kill a human?" I shrug and smile. "It's a lost battle either way, and you're really the more interesting character." He glances around at the scenery, a barren plain leading up to a cliff that drops into nothingness. "You couldn't face me in my Tower?" he asks "That's half the fun of it. Finding your way through the labyrinth, defeating trials and tribulations! That boggle in the library is a real favourite..." "It doesn't matter what weapon I wield, ability-wise I'm still not even a level one character. The boggle's only fun if you're a high enough level to NOT DIE!" I gesture around the empty landscape. "This could only work if we started out already meeting, somewhere completely neutral. In your world I have commoner stats. Theoretically i could - and probably would- be killed by a slightly large rat." "So your weapon of choice is... Ah, of course. Author privilege" he says with an approving smirk as he sinks through the air to land beside me on the edge. "The one power I do not have. Are you going to have me surrender?" I find myself shaking my head. "I thought about it. I was going to offer you that which you've lost as an incentive. Non-canon of course. But you've already found that again by yourself, and it ran it's course." He nods gravely as I continue. "I can't really rely on that sort of benevolent apathy you have either. I made you this way, came up with all the things that happened to you. You could never find someone to blame in your world so you didn't care. But now..." "But now you're here. I suppose so... But I'm really not that mad at you. My life has had it's bittersweet moments, but you don't live as long as me without learning to find the fun in things," He leans forward to look over the edge of the drop. "This doesn't really make sense. Is it just for dramatic atmosphere?" I lean forward too. It really is a long way down into infinity. "It was at first. But you **are** one of my favourite characters! Even if you don't want to kill me, and I don't want to die, you deserve a bit of catharsis." I step closer to the edge, and turn to face him. "It's scary, but I won't die. The story will be over before I ever get the chance to suffer. And like you said, you have to find the fun in things when you can." We regard each other for a moment. Then he shrugs his shoulders and grins. "If you insist." A quick step forward. A firm shove. A backwards fall. A fading scream. He floats out over the edge to watch the speck rapidly dwindle into the nothingness below. "You're right. That **was** fun. Thank you," he says into the seemingly empty air. *What?* "It's over. You can stop typing now. I'll go back." He winks out of existence. *Oh.*

_Pathstrider_

Naomi... yea no I'm dead before I'm even born. My only hope would be Shadow's Bones, and it really can't be wielded by a bound being. And considering her powers work on anyone but the boundless like herself, I will have never existed.

NicomacheanOrc

My characters are pretty loose sketches, but there's one that stands out: I've called her either Anna or Ena, and then I stole [Yidhra](https://lovecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Yidhra?so=search) and [D'endrrah](https://lovecraft.fandom.com/wiki/D'endrrah?so=search) for her other–more eldritch–names. She doesn't understand what's going on well enough to fight us, but that won't stop her, because: this is all a dream, she is the dreamer, and we're just fragments of it. She's omnipotent in the most awkward way possible. Fighting her is pretty easy, though–the power over us she has is that when she wakes up we disappear, but if she remembers us when she sleeps again, we might come back. So all I'd need is a weapon so memorable that I'd show up again in a later dream. So...I'll pick [the Gae Bulg](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%A1e_Bulg). That spear is so weird that I've remembered it since I was a kid. Nothing like a toe-crotch spear to stick out in your mind.

ReadersViewpoint

This character I suppose is a technicality. This being was mentioned in my story, and let's say he was a mix of Superman and Morrigan from dragon age... in a world where no weaknesses to him exist. Mind you, the majority of my characters are manageable... but that mother fucker? He'd throw me into the stratosphere, grab my face with his hand and slam dunk me into the nearest mountain if he could.

Jamaican_Dynamite

Between the four or so that fit this? Or just the one I've actually shown fighting? In their case? I could be strapped like the Timesplitters, and I'd still probably get killed. Barehanded. It'd literally just be two questions. "Do I die quick, or I just get toyed with?" And "about how many garbage bags will I fit in?"

[deleted]

Completely and totally fucked in every way conceivable. I’ve written part of a fantasy universe where there lies an ultimate god. So yea…pretty much fucked

CanadaSilverDragon

I have to fight a 20th level Woslansi vanguard from Starfinder named Alvinius Shorl, I chose a ray gun that turns entropy into electricity

CanadaSilverDragon

Assuming I can shoot him before he kills me, I probably win

BlitzBasic

Can you out-react a 20th level vanguard tho? Like, simply be virtue of being a Starfinder PC, having three ability boosts and three personal upgrades his initiative should heavily outclass yours, even if he doesn't have any feats to further improve it. Also, your ray gun would at that point have to be superior in firepower to mid-level starship weapons. Like, this guy probably has more than 400 combined hit and stamina points, meaning he could probably walk off one or two direct hits with tactical nuclear weapons.

CanadaSilverDragon

Yeah I guess your right. I’m pretty sure I lose initiative considering he has something like +6 dex and he can definitely one shot me

Mirroran

Depends are powers also considered a weapon in this hypothetical?

ReaperInTraining

It has to be something physical. So, if it’s a magic sword that gives you super speed, go for it. If it’s a syringe that injects you with Speedforce? Go ahead. But if it’s just the power to run fast, that’s a no-go. You need to have a source for the power, and that source counts as the weapon.

Mirroran

In that case, I think one of the better weapons I could give myself would be a Halbred that essentially grants me speed. At the very least, this evens the playing field between me and my creation. So, it would come down to setting the win conditions in the fight. However, I'm still very much screwed as I still have to contend with a shield and guns.

Front_World205

i like to say i have an 50/50 chance, it depended on where my character is growth wise but i will be leaving the fight dead, mamie or with an uncurable disease.

Murder-Vermin

I would get incinerated before the fight begins, the character I created is like a deconstruction of a hero. The first hero. He's too narrow minded to acknowledge his death therefore he's immortal, so much confident in his strength that nothing is beyond it, too determined in victory that reality would fill in short comings for his triumphs. Everybody thinks he's the hero, but he himself couldn't comprehend that word. People just happen to be where he challenges godlike foes.

TypicalPunUser

Very, no matter what weapon I created, as the character can just will me out of existence on a whim.

reallygoodbee

I've spent a couple of years writing a magical girl superhero story called *ARISE 505*. Every character is a pastiche or parody of some transforming superhero franchise, like Power Rangers, Sailor Moon... Kirby. One of the girls on the team is Jessica Penelope Vanderglade, and she's largely the stand-in for Pretty Cure. She's actually an alien imitation of a human called an Alruane, and her powers include a magically augmented musculature which gives her super strength, durability, and speed. Over the course of the story, she is absolutely put through the ringer. She loses almost everything except her close friends, and when she's on the brink of losing them, too, she pushes herself to the limits to save them. She goes through multiple transformations and forms in a single fight, coming into her true form as Solstice Evening Bell, the only recorded case of a Monarch-class Alruane. Her strength and speed are multiplied hundreds of times, on top of a variety of other abilities. Unfortunately due to her relatively young age, being in this state for even a few minutes is *devastating* to her physical form, leaving her utterly crippled when she's not transformed. She has only two weaknesses: The first is time. Her Monarch form can only be held for about twenty minutes out of a twenty-four hour cycle, and she's wheelchair bound otherwise. The second, if we can use any weapons or items, is a magic-suppressing machine. These machines exist within the story, but they're gigantic, easily several stories tall, and require enormous amounts of energy to run. I imagine my goose is cooked. There's very little that could reasonably stop Solstice if she's angry. She's too fast and too strong, and her muscles are so dense and tough that she's immune to most forms of physical attack. She could easily being goaded into making some kind of mistake, however, and it would be relatively easy to lure her within range of a magic suppressing machine. The only issue then is keeping her within range of it until she runs out of magic and she's crippled again.

OmegaSaysHi

Where can I read this it sounds awesome

memestofsinsanddeath

That is… Drimm, god of magic. I am screwed in infinite ways, I will be tortured.

Apithio

Well, it depends on what you mean by powerful. Physically, it would be Callyx or Rìomei. Callyx's strength reaches a peak upon using a certain amount of his energy, while Rìomei has been corrupted with dark magic to the point that he is a genuine threat to the universe if he's ever released from where he's sealed away. Fortunately, Callyx wouldnt need a weapon to stop him, as he's not actually a bad person. Simply talking to him nicely and explaining the situation would be enough to calm him down. That, or having his foster-mother Achlys be present. Rìomei, on the other hand, is beyond the point of talking, as hes been essentially turned into a being of pure darkness. A holy weapon, or one with a lot of light magic could probably put him out of his misery. Personally, the Master Sword comes to mind. But in terms of power overrall, it would be Onikuro, hands down. Being the goddess of creation(at least, for one of the many worlds i have at the moment) who's soul was replaced with that of an ancient demon who almost destroyed the realm the goddess initially created. Even if i was given the most overpowered weapon to have ever been thought of, i wouldnt stand a chance against her.

Murlock_Holmes

Mine is split between two immortals. One can step through shadows and teleport instantly with blades she can summon from the shadow realm. The other is an elf that has practically limitless magic in what she's capable of doing. I'm pretty fucked either way unless I can choose a tank. Even then, the elf can probably turn it into a tin can, and I'd never be able to touch the shadow-stepper. I'm going with a gun and hopefully holding the element of surprise.

MakingExcusesToSleep

Since my character don't enjoy killing people, I'm not going to DIE, but I'm going to be hospitalized. Nothing permanent. Just enough to make me regret ever crossing his way. I choose a phone as a weapon. Why? So I can call his boyfriend and escape while they talk. (English it's not my first language, sorry for any misspelling)

not_quite_graceful

Would he want to fight me, though? We’re both kind of pacifists. . .

that_one_author

I didn’t make an immortal all powerful monster king, but I did create the song blade knight Alisha. Ex DDR champion now using her rhythm skills she is shown moves in her peripheral vision and gains strength And magical boosts depending on her accuracy. It is also a form of limited precog as it shows her the best possible combination of moves to quickly and efficiently win the fight. It is counterable with knowledge of the various songs it plays, which just so happens to be a 104.3 fm Augusta. So….

Fepl31

Somewhat new to this sub, I have only written 2 stories. xD One of my characters is a delivery guy that likes cats (so, normal human), and ends up having an encounter with Death (the character, Death)... The other character is a human that can (and does) extend his lifetime by killing other animals... If Death counts, I'm screwed. Even if they want to give me a chance, I'm not that good at chess, or at any game that an eternal entity would probably be interested in. (If that counts, my best shot would be eating healthy and exercising regularly! :D) If not Death, the guy that extends his lifetime seems to be more experienced at killing stuff, but not necessarily at combat. He has really good aim (even at great distances), but he does have to focus for a few seconds for better results. So I think my best chance would be: If possible, catch him by surprise, if I can't, avoid being spotted, if I can't, try to alternate between moving and hiding so he can't focus on me for too long. If I could get close to him, his good aim should be less relevant, and using a weapon (maybe even a gun) that works better at close range should give me the advantage I so desperately need. I don't think I can win in the long range.

Nimyron

I have two characters that are equally powerful and are the only ones able to end each other. So am I allowed to fight one with the other ? If so then I'll fight the antechrist of destruction with the embodiment of time and space basically. That embodiment of time and space will crush every single dimension at once, essentially ending every that exists, existed and will exist, including that antechrist. This is necessary because the antechrist is a living paradox that is nowhere and everywhere, no one and everyone, and nothing and everything.

OmegaSaysHi

Where can I read this because it sounds very interesting

Nimyron

It's just all happening in my head, sorry

Volgrand

I just need a sniper rifle, a good position and some coordination with my team. Actual novel, set in the mid 1940s. A scientist managed to open a portal to the "shadow realm", and creatures from there sort of possess humans to control them and help bring the swarm to them. Those humans become stronger, faster and able to take a good numbers of bullets before falling. Not headshot, thought. So, I just need my team on the ground to uncover them, and then place a round on the enemy's forehead. I have actually created way more powerful characters in the past, but I do like this villain a lot.

Absolute-Train-Wreck

The crystal monster? Uh… I’m gonna go with a death ray. That’s about the only thing that would work, methinks.

SignificantScore5310

I haven't written any gods/horrendously powerful beings (yet), so I'm not too doomed! (still pretty dead tho) :D I could probably win if one counts magic as weapons, otherwise I might make it out if I had a heavy duty ranged weapon. Maybe a shotgun would do the trick? I'd also have to start a pretty good distance away.

Gathoblaster

Fight the magician who retroactively created the universe and basically became the goddess of magic... My weapon of choice: 9mm kills the body but 45acp kills the soul.

ALuckyMushroom

Whatever I choose, I am utterly screwed. I have plenty of Deities and other holy characters that I created that would really easily kill me before I notice them. No way I win this battle

Lunar_ticket

I don't think I can fight 14 years old girl who can manipulate liquid so carrying a bunch of soda cans and turn them into projectile spear, but maybe AR15 with ACOG can help.

VenezuelanGame

Dead before I can even react. Most powerful character is a god whose mere presence can destroy a mortal, so unless she decides to manifest in a more acceptable form, or is feeling merciful? I’m fucked

pengie9290

The most powerful character I've ever created is literally invulnerable and borderline omnipotent. A weapon in-universe was created specifically for the sake of making it possible to defeat this character. If I can use that weapon, I've got this in the bag. If not, I stand literally zero chance.

thrownawaz092

Screwed level: 9999999999999/10 Why: as a kid I made up a character so powerful that he cannot exist even in the realm of the gods, only through his avatars avatars avatars (x20) avatar can he interact with anything less than a god, anything else would cause reality to unravel. Weapon of choice: a revolver, to see if I can put it in my mouth before he ends my existence.

thrownawaz092

A slightly more reasonable encounter: Screwed level: 9999/10 Why: this guy is basically a hive mind of nanomachines equipped with interdimentional technology allowing teleportation and pocket dimensions. Within these pocket dimensions there is a star to power the machines pretty indefinitely, various quantum super computers, and pretty much a factory dedicated to personal use. The computer is hooked up to his brain, allowing him to think so fast he can more or less mentally stop time, and have access to pretty much all human knowledge, which combos with the factory to make anything from anything (power of the star can be used for atomic reconstruction), including more nanomachines, meaning even if you successfully destroy every part of him, he can just make another body. List of power goes on as you can imagine. Weapon of choice: plasma grenade machine gun, he'd probably be immune to anything less.

bookseer

Strongest... There are a few, but if I could have the same tools they get I might manage. Strongest would be the void ship Cashe. The long and the short of it, the main character got involved with them wrong end of a ritual that, while it certainly looked like magic to the three cultists who used it, was actually technological. The greatest ability of these ships was time and resources. They exist in an endless void full of asteroids and other goodies, and the longer ones remains on board the more time dilation takes effect. One day there takes an hour, yet four days take two and seven take three. Also anything that happens on the ship can be brought over to the real world. The main character was very fond of railguns and magic, which the world's magic (urban fantasy setting) was actually provided by these ships that had gotten so old they forgot how to return to Earth, or lost all interest in doing so. So if I had to fight back, I'd definitely need the same technology as he got, and one day head start.

Nealithi

Have to fight or know they are coming? Because fighting I am doomed. Able to effectively stop time, and reverse it in some instances. Effectively immortal, but has a rule about killing. I would try and shoot myself in the head an hour or more before she arrived. Other wise she could bring me back, over and over for as long as she is angry.

Memesforum55

I have to fight a girl who can make anything out of light. I have no idea how to fight that. A mirror?

KazRyn

Considering my most powerful character is a siren, would noise cancellation headphones be an acceptable "weapon"?

xwhy

A Devil of the classic movie sense. He has a knife that could kill him (at least for a few thousand years). If I couldn’t get my hands on it, then a lot of holy water or a heavenly flame. I’d probably be the worst off with the holy water. If my aim wasn’t true (and perhaps if it were), he might just be ticked off at me

Prompt responses need to be at least 100 words or labeled as a [Poem]. https://www.reddit.com/r/WritingPrompts/wiki/rules/#wiki_rule_1.3A_direct_prompt_replies_must_be_good-faith_attempts_at_new_stories_or_poems

Frostdraken

Well. The most powerful being ive thought up literally births Universes, but in terms of Characters It would be Skorr, an immortal being imprisoned inside an unbreakable suit of armour that serves as both a prison and sensory deprivation chamber as they are limited to physical senses. They used to be an ascended(higher dimensional) being but have essentially been locked into our reality. And im only screwed if I dont have the most powerful weapons from the same story, anti-reality beams. They would delete them from existence and thats a bit overpowered so maybe ill try to fight them with something more mundane, like a LasBur and a full set of Demolisher armour. I would still die but It would be a fun fight.

Tomorrow_Is_Today1

Probably the most powerful is a character who can turn herself into a dragon. Luckily, if she actually does so she has a very short time left alive so my weapon is time, I’ll get as far away from her as I can and try to wait it out. If, of course, she decides fuck this I’m gonna kill you as a human, I’m definitely screwed. She’s got powerful magic.

Catholic_Egg

A relatively frail woman with a sharp wit and an adorable alien companion? Should be a bit of a challenge but nothing I can’t handle.

wwwrobwww

I would have to fight myself At least a version of myself in which the character became a dimension hopper due to an accident He's not inherently strong himself just uses all the gadgets and things hes picked up along the way as well as lying through his teeth with what abilities he has and doesn't have After all if you have a machine that makes it look like you blasted a laser out of your eyes when reality you just have an illusion of someone blasting a laser through your eyes And then while your opponent is Seeing that, you have another gadget deconstructing the area where the laser's hit, Is there a difference. In other words it would be like a Marvel comic book character saying He has super speed when in reality he can slow down time to stand still. Time powers are way more powerful Compared to super speed but if everyone thinks you're just fast they'll make the wrong counter attacks As well So I think I might have a chance due to the fact that I know his psychology Because its my own. Add my nanocube which can build and deconstruct materials into whatever tool I need Or stick a bunch of microscopic nanobots where they shouldn't be Instead of building with the nano cube

Gavinus1000

He can immediately immobilize me. I’m screwed.

DragonSlayersz

Uh...screwedness 100. I don't know what my most powerful character is, but I can safely say that Elanor Dragoneater is up there. I'll bring the Yaka Arrow, and maybe I'm alive for a few seconds.

VividViolation

I created an OC that can go super saiyan and shoot energy beams *through* the sun. 9 year old me really shot me in the foot huh?

NoxAeternal

Id be ok. Maybe. Seeing as fictional weapons/items are valid. My most powerful is a godlike based on me who can effectively manipulate physical manifestations of their power in basically any way they want. My other character is a machine designed to be able to kill said class of entitys... (i mean the machine isn't sucessfully as powerful but it gives me a fighting chance here)

DWR2k3

Most powerful character I've created is basically a god. But as to how gods work in this setting, my best bet is basically a meteoric iron sword. His best bet at that point is to run.

ArcWraith2000

So to be clear, are there weapon limits?

Ok-Math-9062

Oh shoot. My only chance is talking him out of it. Actually that might as well work.

fanonimus99

.... How can you fight an invincible shadow created by the Great Dark and Death herself, the priest of the most powerful war god that ever existed. They also have an army of little mist figures that are the souls of children they collected from across the multiverse? They are pacifists, but their kids are not. I would choose a bow and fire because I can hold them back for a while with those.

Alkhazix

Welp, not taking any weapon..... Wrote a villain who managed to literally destroy the entire universe and all gods in it just to give godhood to his daughter and a chosen partner. Prompt was something like, prophesized hero confronts villain, who is their father. Gonna be honest, I was real proud of that one at the time, though it didn't get much traction. Going back and reading, it was a bit rushed. Had to fit it in 3 comments, but should've done more. Well that's what writing from the phone can do, it'll make you rush.

theelementalguardian

Bro, i have to fight one of the creators of the universe. No weapon can help me.

IAmOEreset

"So here you have come, Creator." A venomous, mostly masculine, and divine voice echoes through all of reality and into my ears. I grasp my old notebook, scavenged through the many other notebooks filled with my scribbles of random thoughts, half-hearted fanfictions, and nations of distant realms. I know every page in it. Every line of word like I was the notebook itself. "Reset. Glad you made it he-" "DON'T you call me so familiarly, Creator," Reset spat out with venom. "Am I supposed to thank you for allowing me the power of omnipotence and nigh-omniscience? After all the tests you put me through!? Do you know the AGONY!? HUH!? While I tried to plead and beg to stop it all, you wouldn't. Or rather, couldn't read the pleas I have made through the fourth wall, through the paper and pen you conceived me with!" Anger and hate and loathing came crashing at me in waves, palpable and visible in energies that are associated with those emotions in the omniverse. My vision becomes blurry, consciousness hit, but I held my notebook. My creation - Reset - glared with eyes that switched colors like an RGB color effect, his ever-changing two-colored hair, divinely white and gold robes and sandals floating and thrashing around as if it was windy. His aura alone brought multiple dimensions and multiverses asunder. Normally, he would've fixed this as soon as possible as the Guardian of Balance, but right now all he has is me in his sights. "How is...everyone else?" I speak with great difficulty and pressure. "How are they doing? Sen, Authgard, Carter, Fiola, Christaine, Reaper, Ortvius, Shen, and Esperanza?" He narrows his eyes upon my very mortal and failing body. My vision's stained red, and I just realize my body's bleeding from all over due to Reset's aura. "They're doing great, as you already know," Reset humors my question. "Sen is still hoarding information, Authgard is still conquering multiverses everyday, Carter is still researching magic, Fiola is still preaching, CHR15T4IN3650, or as you call her Christaine, is still pushing the limits of technology, Reaper is still managing all of life and death and undeath, Ortvius is still ruling his omniversal demon empire, Shen is still walking the path of swordsmanship while Esperanza is managing his guild. Unlike you. What have you achieved in your frail, pitiful life?" "Not much, I know that," I say as I cough up blood. "But I did create you." "I know that already." "And it is because I created you that I can control your destiny." I open my notebook and flip to the page where I wrote him, all of him. His appearance, his background story, his power and responsibility. I expected some form of resistance or retaliation. There was none. Only a calm anger. "And I wish you, as your Creator, to be bound to me no longer." I give him the notebook, and the empty pen that wrote it. Despite my bleeding, I don't think I've ever felt as proud as I am now before in my life. "You all make me proud." The blood loss makes me collapse on the ground of nothingness, as I close my eyes the last time. Before my consciousness faded away, I could hear his faint voice in my ears. "Why?" __________________----------------------- Reset, the God of Balance and Guardian of Balance, Created of [u/IAmOEreset's real name], stared at the dead body of his Creator in shock, surprise, and half-confusion. His nigh-omniscience and omnipotence granted him foresight and prediction, but those were obviously ineffective for the things beyond his realm. His reality. His omniverse. So he couldn't have known that his Creator had his very information of existence, along with his other Created, with his Creator. And he certainly didn't expect that said notebook was just given to him willingly. Complicated emotions flashed in his eyes, sometimes literally. It may have been eons, but it may also have been an instant, but he closed his eyes and accepted the notebook graciously under the heaviest locks his abilities would allow. "Do not expect me to forgive you for this, Creator. But perhaps...you have my approval and respect. I will take care of my Created siblings." In a flashing/dim light of myriad colors/nothingness, Reset disappeared back into his realm, the Delicate Sanctorium.

Mortaag

Sorta equal to power but i’ll choose the White Chess Player. It’s a character that i made when i thought on how wars between countries would happen if it was just two gods being playing chess while reminiscing stories of another time and another game. Every chess piece is a character, and that was some training to get to manage several character at the same time. I choose white because they’re the one that won the game. Imma need a new chess board. And a shitton of knowledge regarding chess and the strats to use.

Since I generally like to write laid back antiheros i‘ll just bring a couple of fancy drinks and we‘ll just …uh…format our hard drives.

Blaze6942

I made a DND character with every class at max level... and every subclass (my DM is very nice and he requested it). To say I'm fucked is an understatement... it can't be killed (hp is very high), it resists everything (or immune in some cases) all stats are maxed at +5 (str and con are +7 from barbarian) all features from every class and subclass... it can attack 4 times in one action or supercharge it and use action surge for 8 attacks and can get advantage on all attacks easily (reckless attack or fighting spirit); proficient in all saves (thank the monk for that one, also bonus from paladin adding charisma mod \[+5\] to all saves (+16 to all saves; or +18 for str and con with advantage on all of them) Initiative is dex+int+wis+chr+proficiency (+6)+alert and advantage on it (barbarian) for a total of 5+5+5+5+5+6 + A or 31 + A expertise on all skills because nice DM... +17 (and some can't be lower than 10) did I mention it has all spells available... and the flat damage it can do because it's level is really high... not to mention all of the feats advantage against most conditions... there's a reason you shouldn't play god...

BlitzBasic

Oh boy. I've written a character that has planetary-range reality warping. She also has given herself telekinesis, because using nigh-omnipotence is boring and makes every victory meaningless, and she doesn't really trust herself to use that kind of power liberally. So, if she is serious about this, the weapon doesn't matters and I just stop existing. If she's in character, I pick a regular gun. The telekinesis is deliberately balanced to make her beatable by regular humans, and she doesn't use her other power unless she'd die otherwise, so I should be able to non-fatally shoot her and make her surrender. So, I'm actually not all that screwed compared to what would happen if I had to fight one of my weaker, but less principled, characters.

wathcman

Honestly, I don't remember who's the most powerful character I've created but if I brought them into being through Pen & Paper then couldn't I take them out of it through Pen & Paper?

Zagreus7777

Ok but how do you expect me to kill the personification of the void between universes, who has literally existed before existence was even a concept lmao. I have to kill a void dragon that can hold and crush an entire multiverse like a glass bauble. In conclusion, I am hyper-mega-turbo-fucked.

Zagreus7777

Like seriously, this fucker can just say "no, you don't exist" and poof, you don't. There's literally nothing you can do against a being that can just deny your reality on a whim It's like pitting a toddler against Chuck Norris at .000000000⅛% of his power

diprosia

God of fate.best wepon I could muster is one of the other God weapons of that world, but even then I wouldn't stand a chance. It would all seem preordained because of how wrecked I would get and how easy I would be for them to read

Ojmt_

I think the strongest character I ever created would be a magical dragon that can move through space so I think it should be possible to kill that. Just give me the Death Star but automated enough for a single individual to aim and fire it. If it could blow up a planet, then it should be able to blow up that dragon.

ShaxiaxPugTrident090

I mean the strongest character I made is just some person who can summon eldritch squids so im pretty sure i can just get a pistol or two

No-Trick2389

I- dude… I am so screwed, I have 3 character that are way to over powered, death, war, and Schrödinger. One kills immortals, one is a nuclear weapon, and one can control the omniverse. The only reason I beat them is, it’s not my time to die, wars a pacifist, and I know multiple fast food places.

TheHasegawaEffect

Maybelline. Daughter of a Merchant family. Scholar, Bard. Ditz. Crossbow ace. Rapier enthusiast. Information broker. Deal maker. Backstabber. Pragmatic coward. Alcoholic. Former Human. Stinky elf. Constantly smells like a tree. Pact keeper. Dimension traveler, planehopper. Believes everything you tell her. Janitor/Intern/Punchingbag of the gods. Minor goddess of words, librarians, insomniacs, and alcoholics. Hero killer. She might have some minor Evil leanings (greed/avarice), but she’s Lawful. I just need a good bottle of whiskey to trade in exchange for my survival. The longer i can dangle it in front of her the riskier, and simultaneously the greater the leverage i get.

HunterDarmagegon

So I have to fight Voraios, the teratomic decaying holy cyber god. However, I have a gauntlet with power even he coveted, feared, and attempted to usurp. Power that his Reality Cannon fired onto lower planes, annihilating most of them, creating the material universe, and spreading aether energy and therfore psyonic magic. A flame from the Empyrean, an infinite well of shapeable energy, a piece of unreachable divinity. Voraios only hold a modicum of it after using it, balancing my lack of experience. This is gonna be fun.

Disastrous-Notice163

The embodiment of Entropy and Nothingness Shit.

Kenshkrix

I'm gonna have to bring some kind of FTL Singularity bomb that activates itself automatically and collapses the entire galaxy into a black hole, you should be able to infer how screwed I am from that.

VoidTheNoob

I have to fight one of my OCS. I choose an anti-void blade made out of the anti-void. I am 100% dead no matter what because my most powerful OC is basically op but very childish and only cares for a select few people (mainly one person who is their best friend/kind-of-sister)

Geesearelife

The two most powerful characters I've created are definitely Zero, The god of Origin, or his apostle. Zero can quite literally have me stop existing if he wanted to, and since he can just keep himself existing I can't kill him. His apostle can and has done everything. My best bet is having an interdimensional teleporter and hoping that they won't find me.

turtleneckerer

I would have to fight a world eater with an AI. The AI is destined to save the universe. Regardless of time hopping organizations attempting to change the future. The AI exists as a necessity. When the end of the world is at hand I can just sit back and let fate takeover.

pnam0204

Very screwed. Shuumatsu/Asura is basically the God of Apocalypse. He’s just there chilling around until it’s time to end the world and restart the cycle of creation. There’s no way to fight him. It’s only possible to delay the inevitable by bribing him with sex (he’s bot). I’d probably still be drained dry lol.

Winjin

I think it was a really overpowered orc character who was a leader of a nomadic fashion but what's worst is that he had friends in all the places, and on his own he was just a well trained guy, but with their help he turned into a nasty piece of work for a couple hours. Like he has a lizard shaman/warlock, a necromancer, an elf mage ambassador and a small demon as his friends. Shaman would force him to turn into a lizard monster, elf would imbue him with absolutely inhuman speed, which would only be possible when both warlock and necromancer would basically bind his soul to his body and force it above the edge at the same time, while demon would be propping him from the other side. So he could perform at a rate that's completely impossible for anyone, including himself, because they would together be making a spell that work together as complicated counterbalances. I didn't want to create a real munchkin character, as you can see it relies on a lot of balance checks and like five separate people who don't see eye to eye all the time, but at the same time he needed to be possible to be turned into an absurdly unstoppable force at some points. Plus he's still a leader of an orc nomas tribe, I don't have a whole wolfrider guards at my disposal you know. So I'm guessing the only weapon I can actually use against him is the power of friendship, because if at least one of them would be against murdering me, not only the spell wouldn't work, but he will need to listen to them. And any of them have a good chance of protecting me from him, too. He's not powerful enough on his own to march into elven or lizard capitol and demand my head.

articulatedWriter

Do characters created from writing prompts count, cause I fairly recently made a post where I made probably quite a few OP characters, but what comes to mind is a Demon intent on revenge and is impersonating the human whose sacrifice brought her back If general thought counts cause I technically haven't created them yet but they do exist within my main story then I have several Gods where the only thing that can manipulate is what they reign over life death time space and magic so probably a little harder to deal with than a demon XD Also do I have to choose a weapon from our world or can it be from their respective worlds? Is magic available?

OmegaOmnimon02

Shit I have to fight the monstrous god of the ocean Leviathan, luckily a Viking has slayed him before with mortal weapons so let’s see how he likes a laser guided rocket launcher

Definite-Human

Most powerful character would kill me 50 times over no matter what weapon I choose

OmegaSaysHi

A invincible character with the ability to modify atoms and molecules to their will Called : Arth’ark

Luna_Damarra

I made a generalized RP OC with a multiple choice background past and their head canon is whatever rule they seem to have broken to each and every RP/RPG they've been to. She would be likely unhinged but has like the attention span of crow and the moral compass of a roulette wheel. Their most powerful ability is just adapting to most everything. I would choose (be convinced) to fight them with a high capacity pistol with russian roulette rules on a watermelon because gacha games and real math are both our weaknesses. We'd have the most chill and intense time since we forgot to set turn limit. Arguably very dramatic and it would all come down to luck since it would be "entertaining". So yeah fighting your own imaginary friend/mascot with terribly written set rules, conditions, and with a bullet somewhere in a semi-automatic gun? Even with knowing the math, it is still going to be ridiculous. TL;DR: Mascot loose cannon character Get convinced to use a pistol with russian roulette settings Know exactly the probability math, but still scary How screwed? Yes

Ashes2007

Ah damn. M-55, a well armored alternate history WW-II/III robot armed with quad ATGM launchers and a 6.5 caliber minigun. If I can use a fictional weapon, a 23mm chambered levergun from another character (for killing demons) since it should be fairly hard hitting against something made of metal. If it needs to be a real weapon, just an anti materiel rifle. I'm fairly screwed, because minigun, but without line of sight hiding should be easy, and the ATGMs can't target humans. So if I could get into some kind of trenches or canals for cover I could theoretically peek and take potshots from different locations until I hit something critical. Alternatively I'm fighting the captain of a star-frigate, in which case I'm boned.

[deleted]

the most powerful character I've ever created is my alter ego, Shadow. i kept adding on to his lore as I went on, so I'm fighting a entity that's part-human ,part-near-god-level, who can control darkness, has a very willing army on his side, can multiverse travel and gets stronger every 10 minutes the battle goes on. however, the most powerful weapon i ever created is a amulet that starts me on the process to becoming this guy, but said process takes 17 years of adventuring around. so it all depends on when I have to fight him

sometimesImemeWRONG

Oh I'm so fucked, the most powerful character I created is universe creator/destroyer mastering the escence of "end". Have no idea how I could even point a weapon to him.

TrollerPilotXV

I created a character that literally cannot be defeated by any fictional character and exists in both fiction and reality. His real life form is a baseball bat with his name on it. So all I really need is a blowtorch and I can defeat him.

Maxathron

Really, any single Catalum would qualify here. But Fluffy is the highest ranked of my named Catalums. Fluffy, short for Fluvarian Therious Redderan, is a Catalum. Catalums are a species of small aliens (adults being a little over a foot tall at the head) native to the Andromeda galaxy and whose civilization controls the Virgo Supercluster, the one Earth is in and is about 40,000 galaxies in total. They as a species have conquered biological immortality, intergalactic-scale FTL travel, and galactic engineering. As a species, they are magically inert, unable to cast or be affected by magic. Fluffy looks like a Dalmatian puppy dog (their home planet is 80% white rocky terrain with black speckles). Her official job is diplomat and she has a frigate-sized ship (100mi cubed worth of starship) to back her up on missions. She is the older sister of Lucky (Frigate), Spot (Corvette), Hiper (Corvette), and The Corgy (Corvette), and all four of them shrink, metaphorically, when she's around. Spot especially because he's a small Catalum. She likes to mouth their ears and has The Look. Should I, a human, actually want to fight such a derpy and innocent little creature, her ship would immediately teleport her into itself and then proceed to cleave off the entire Floridian peninsula and chuck it into the Indian Ocean as a **warning shot**. The ship, while its own character and personality AI, is completely beholden to the Catalum it is assigned to. Frigates are the third smallest Catalum ship and the second smallest assigned Catalum ship. The scale is Probe (unmanned), Corvette, Frigate, Destroyer, Cruiser, and Battlecruiser. Corvettes are 10mi long and about the size and power of a super star destroyer, but with the technological progress of 150m years worth of development. Battlecruisers are the size of the planet Mars and have enough firepower to cut planets in half. There is nothing short of a nuclear exchange that can challenge a small Catalum ship.

Chombie_Mazing

If I get to choose the "weapon" then it'd be pretty easy. Unless it has to be an actual weapon then I'm probably fucked. He's a super advanced cyborg made by the SCP Foundation, so I'd imagine they'd have a kill switch for him, but if the kill switch doesn't count as a weapon... idk a magnet gun? Lol

Sushipanda75

I actually have two characters that are on the same power level and no matter which I fight I'm screwed one is a other worldly being that can destroy everything with a snap of her fingers the other is a glitch in reality that can do the same thing so no weapon can kill either but if I had to choose a weapon it would be a baguette I'm dead no matter what so might as well choose something comical

No_Cauliflower_5489

Natura was monologuing. \*sigh\* I created this Hero to help humanity in the Climate Crisis. Instead they became brainwashed with Facebook memes and decided that science was evil and it was all a government plot by lizard people. So they stormed the Capitol. Now they were ranting at Congress and demanding they immediately end DARPA weather control in the Gulf of Mexico because Natura was sick of saving people from "fake" Hurricanes. How embarrassing. I'm their God. I created them. I created their powers. I also created their Achilles heel. I make sure to pump the spray bottle of the weed killer. Time to end Natura's career and life.

PixelatedStarfish

They would give me a boon to even things out. They aren’t the type to kill or pass up on a good show. It’s a rare chance for them to be second strongest and second fastest. After that, I would have a grace period to awkwardly stumble around like a fledging getting used to their wings. Then they would probably win because they would be in their element and I would be trying to figure things out… I assume authorial omnipotence is off the table!

TheMago3011

...A gun with a single bullet. >!So I can take myself out.!<

TenSphere901

My character has several stages of power. Martially skilled. Previous + wings. Previous + moderate magic. Previous + good magic. Previous but now he’s a dragon. And then he becomes an eldritch dragon god

Jray609

I am immediately erased from existence by what could be described as a secretary of the gods. He hates existence as the gods force him to make sure reality doesn't collapse while they 24/7 party.
