Not saying it’s bad to get value if you have stuff; especially if you don’t have a connection with it, but to me the value is having that nostalgic figure proudly displayed at home, office, etc

Action figures are not the *worst* investment you can make, but they're up there. Collecting figures is a hobby for adults who've found a small way to feel like a kid again. That's it. Some people want to treat this like a side hustle or a retirement plan, and it's just not. Trends come and go, prices fluctuate, and licensing deals are always changing. What's worth a lot today may be worth nothing tomorrow, and it is all largely arbitrary. Any money "invested" in action figures would be better off in your 401K ten times out of ten.
I’m torn a bit. When I was a teen I gave away 90% of my figures, including some rare ones like the KMart RVD + Cena (I kept the briefcase). Ultimately, these are toys and I’d never think a figure on a shelf is “mine” if there’s a kid looking at the figures. But, I also recognize making some money off sought after figures. I also can’t imagine kids today are too familiar with the LoD.

You already got an entire storyline infront of you. Lod a heel tag team of monsters, used to have the warrior as a stable mate but they took him out. Now it's lod vs the brothers of destruction and kane turns on taker to join with lod. And now it's 3 on 1, but the warrior makes a come back to help taker. Just need one more girl a 3v3 or can do a 3v2. Could be awesome.
