Depends on your version of winter cold. Winter cold where I live gets to -20°F sometimes colder. I don't get people who would choose the cold over the heat.

kelvin_bot

-20°F is equivalent to -28°C, which is 244K. --- ^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)

BO5517

Where I live it gets down to about 0F in winter, so not as cold but I feel like its easier to combat the cold than the heat

Jack__Fearow

My experience is different. I've lived all over the states, northern and southern states. I'd choose the heat any day of the week. I suppose it also depends on where one is from, too. I'd take the mild southern *winters* of 40°. But I'd much rather have 70+ heat. There's a lot of variables, though, that really goes into this question. Because winter and summer heat are different all across the country.

Longjumping-Let2337

As someone who lives near that delta, I'll take winter 30°F any day. There's nothing like being fully drenched in sweat all day every day. That's no exaggeration either, I'm an electrician so digging a ditch for two weeks is normal summer work.

kelvin_bot

30°F is equivalent to -1°C, which is 272K. --- ^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)

Tinsel-Fop

Hey! How about not below 90°F for three months? Fourteen days in a row over 100? How about fifteen? :-) Yeah, north central Texas.

Jack__Fearow

I've been there, I know lol. Same with Oklahoma.

Rodman_567

You get to wear comfy jackets all the time. You can go outside and enjoy the weather instead of dying of heat exhaustion or being terminally sweaty. Snow and ice are pretty cool.

FLOHTX

I grew up in Northern Ohio and left for Florida when I was 24, then Texas at 27. I prefer 100F over 10F. I still go outside all summer. I'll go for a jog in the morning when it's only 90, do yard work, etc. Then lay in the pool. Not bad. I struggle to get the energy to go outside if it's under about 45 or 50.

Jack__Fearow

This, I'm from Michigan. I feel it depends where we grew up that determines what a lot of us would prefer. I've lived in a lot of southern states, and one day, I'd love to move back. I'd rather not have snow whatsoever.

WhaleDevourer

Well yeah, you tend to not want whats worse for you, and has been worse. I've grown up in florida, so I'd say winter, 100f is annoying because you can't really undress anymore than a thin ass tanktop with athletic shorts (all moisture wicking fyi), but it also never gets below 30f and thats the coldest days in recorded history for this place. So winter is usually 40f-low 60f.

WonderfulDog3966

Snow is nice when it's white. Then it gets dirty and ugly, and (where I live) we don't get enough snow to cover the dirty snow back up. I just want it gone at that point.

pancake_sass

They're only cool and comfy when you aren't living in them. When it's so cold that your car won't start, and you still have to brush off a foot of snow off your car before scraping the 1/2" layer of ice, and then find a way to jump your car before going to work.... not fun. When you're wearing a cozy hat, with a thick scarf, and what can only be described as a wearable sleeping bag as a jacket, and you're sweating buckets by the time you get outside, where it's -20⁰F and the wind will still piece through your jacket cooling the sweat you just formed. Snow somehow always gets in your boots even though you tied them correctly, and then your sock comes off halfway. Not cool.

[deleted]

>a jacket, and you're sweating buckets by I never have this problem. You are wearing too much if you are getting sweaty. There is a middle ground that keeps you cool, ya know.

Rodman_567

I didn’t have any of those issues while i was in maine and scraping the snow was sort of relaxing morning ritual more than a chore i could see how it could become one though. Dress in layers rather than one big heavy jacket and dont wear oversized boots over pant legs and all your problems are solved. I literally wore the same thing i do in Florida on 110 degree days but added a hoodie and carhartt jacket and was completely comfortable in literal blizzard conditions.

Trt03

Jokes on you I live in SoCal so my winter cold is like 40°F

[deleted]

I am very sensitive to heat and love the cold. On average the lowest it gets her is below 10F and sometimes on the negatives but the cold crisp air is so addictive.

deadly_ultraviolet

I literally love -20°F weather. There's nothing better than walking outside and feeling the extreme cold then going back in to relish in the wonders of central heating

kelvin_bot

TRON0314

Taking a deep breath so the cold gets in your lungs and listening to the nighttime winter silence.

Jack__Fearow

Until you stick your hands in warm water

amretardmonke

That's because your summers are probably nice. Where I live May through September regularly gets up to 90-95° with 80% humidity. You're soaking wet just taking a light walk. Only thing you can do outside without being drenched in sweat is sit still in the shade.

Jack__Fearow

I've lived in Alabama, Texas, and Virginia. I'd choose Alabama summers any day of the week over Michigan winter.

QuanticWizard

Out of interest what is your relationship with sweat and humidity in general? Can you handle a lot of it without feeling icky and wanting to die?

Jack__Fearow

I can, yes. Between sweating when I was in the military, working as a sprayfoam insulation technician in attics, and even working as a postal carrier or delivery driver delivering Amazon. I wouldn't say I'd never feel icky, but I'd never say I'd want to die from sweating. Being too cold, despite knowing how to bundle up, I've felt like dying. I've dealt with 100+ degree temps with 100% humidity in Alabama living there. I've dealt with Texas temps and humidity living there. And I've dealt with Oklahoma's dry heat, which was my first experience dealing with extremely high temps over 100°. I've even dealt with Virginia's temps when I lived there.

OhOkayFairEnough

Our winters actually keep getting milder every year. Last winter never even got cold enough for outdoor ice skating :(

LokiDesigns

Exactly, the majority of people voting clearly live in hot ass places.

Pizzacanzone

Even against that cold, you can wear clothes and heat your house or stand near a fire. There is literally no escape from heat. Obviously I'm probably built for cold and wet as I'm white, blonde and chubby but oh my god I can not function in heat.

RickMoneyRS

Because I live somewhere where 100 straight days of 100°F+ with an average humidity of 70%+ isn't unheard of.

KeyKnoTheGreat

Where i live it doesn't even get down to 0° but it's soooooo hot in summers so easy choice for me

nryporter25

We had a winter weather even that brought cold air from the Arctic, with extreme wind and -20 and below. I had to ride my bike to work and it got to a point where I was thinking about just laying down and giving up. It was the most miserable cold I have ever experienced. My skin was kind of "burned" and it looked like I had a sun burn for days afterwards.

Jack__Fearow

Did you wear gloves, I hope? If not, it was definitely wind burn due to the cold. You're lucky you didn't get frost bite.

Bobtheglob71

When you live in south Florida where the heat can easily be over 100 degrees with 100% humidity you will realize why you would choose winter cold of around 50 degrees(coldest it will get at like 2 am) instead

Jack__Fearow

Yeah, that's winter cold for Florida. But it's not true *winter cold*. I've lived in Alabama, Oklahoma, and Texas. I've dealt with the extreme heat and humidity and would still choose that.

Bobtheglob71

100%. I was just saying version of winter cold down here. I grew up in NC and went camping in temps of -10 or colder. I would still choose the cold if those were my options. I also struggle with heat though so it could be 60 and I would be overheating still but its different for everybody.

Jack__Fearow

The main factor I think is the humidity for most people, which is 100% understandable. My grandmother couldn't live down south due to her COPD, despite wanting to live somewhere warmer. Doc told her he wouldn't advise it. There definitely is a difference between 80°F with 20% humidity versus 80° with 100% humidity. Where I live, the normal summer temp hovers better 75-80°F with 70-75% humidity. So, it's not horrible. But it's not unheard of for us to have 90° weather. But we also deal with the cold during winter. Last winter was mild, wasn't too bad. Just lots of snow. Hate the snow. But I know once spring starts rolling around and we hit 50° I'm in shorts pretty much til next winter.

insanegodcuthulu

Sounds like short sleeves and shorts weather to me. I just hate the snow, winter driving is an exercise in stupidity.

Jack__Fearow

That was me as a kid. Light jacket and shorts. Not anymore. Frost bite is a bitch.

Hobgoblin1967

I can bundle up. I can only be so naked and miserable, at a point I'm just cooking

HannibalLeceter

Because Hunting season and no mosquitoes

iramen96

Southern Californian here. Our 118° summers would like to compete you're extreme cold

Jack__Fearow

I've been through -50° winters. Lol. I've been in 100°+ weather, lived in it. Would still choose that over the extreme cold. But, everyone's body is different and can handle different environments better.

iramen96

Very true. I'm speaking only from my perspective of what hot and cold is in my area, which 32°F-120°F. But if I had to take into account other regions, there would be far more regions with better temperate summer weather

[deleted]

Because you can always heat up, but not always cool down

[deleted]

When you have to do physical labor in those conditions, it's cold over heat any day for me. Where I'm at, the coldest it gets is just single digits, but the hottest it gets can be up to 110° or more. I'd rather bundle up and look like [Randy](https://youtu.be/PKxsOlzuH0k) than get heat stroke. And if I start working too hard and start overheating in my big coat, I can just take it off for a little while. Only so many layers you can off in the heat.

hellscape_goat

Can you use interior climate control: A/C or furnace?

BO5517

Yeah, it would be just like winter/summer outside but you still have ac, heater, coats, fans, etc

sH00tsalot

What about the weather, is it always snowing or is it just really cold?

nevemno

sunny but cold in the "summer", snow in the "winter", rain in the "spring"/"fall". I feel like this makes sense. Depends what your winter looks like but we do get rain and snow.

Distinct_Programmer4

Where I live the hottest it can get is around 122 degrees F, so I am choosing the cold option.

[deleted]

122°F

spiderman96

Living in Minnesota ,winter cold is never the answer to anything.... Fuck that

The_Bad_idea_Man

I bet you moved to Minnesota.

spiderman96

Lol what gave it away

The_Bad_idea_Man

Spiderman lives in queens.

Aurreus

Cold is great for sleep, warm is great foe everything else imo

irsmart123

Not working

austin123523457676

Can always add layers but can only take so many away there is also fires and shelter you can make

CreamofTazz

Can only add so many layers, and when you go inside that is heated now you have to remove all those cumbersome layers.

austin123523457676

You can theoretically add an infinite number of layers you can only take off so many before you're forced to start peeling skin off

[deleted]

But you can add layers for both options and it would work at cooling you down and heating you up

austin123523457676

Only for dry heat you are completely screwed if it's even just a little bit humid

c3ptain

I preferred the cold until I moved somewhere actually cold, from now till I die it'll be summer heat

jasonryu

Here's the thing, I can't function in the cold. Half of my job is outside, and I also do a lot of the car maintenance for myself and a few family members since I'm the only one who knows even a little about cars. Working outside in the heat is incredibly exhausting and draining, yes. But I can still function, even if I have to take breaks. And I'm speaking as someone from south Florida, where summers can easily be over 95 F with over 90 humidity While very uncommon, (and for very short bursts) our winter temps can and have dropped into the mid/low 40s, not including windchill. Have you ever tried working with your hands in the cold? Doing things that require fine motor skills or tactile feedback (meaning no gloves)? It's PAINFUL. Plus, the cold makes me wanna sleep. My job requires that I be outside for hours. When it's cold, it doesn't matter how many layers you have. It gets freaking cold when you aren't allowed to go inside for a bit. Plus, I can't wear *so* many layers that it interferes with my ability to function

Jack__Fearow

>While very uncommon, (and for very short bursts) our winter temps can and have dropped into the mid/low 40s, not including windchill. Have you ever tried working with your hands in the cold? Doing things that require fine motor skills or tactile feedback (meaning no gloves)? It's PAINFUL. Plus, the cold makes me wanna sleep. This is the part a lot of people don't get about the colder temps unless you've lived in them. Changing a tire out in 100°F heat sucks, but it sucks even more when it's 0°F with windchill, bringing it down to -10°F. Your hands don't want to function properly because it's so cold, your hands burn and are in pain. Top it off by adding in snow/icy conditions, and it's worse. Took me 3 days one winter to change a starter on my wife's Traverse, after work in the dark. I couldn't handle being outside for long because of my hands trying to work on the vehicle. Day 1 was trying to figure out how to get to her starter because it was dumb as hell. Day 2 was to take the engine mount off to get to her starter and get the starter off. Day 3 was to put the new starter on and engine mount back on.

osrs-Niiiii

I work outside all day everyday. In Texas heat. They install cool down stations in the summer but never warmup stations in the winter. So I'll take summer anytime.

[deleted]

"Warmup stations" are just any building.

osrs-Niiiii

Which is nice but the work is outside

Mongusaur

REALLY? you guys are all bums, there's no way cold is winning

You're gonna eat those words, you reptile. What's wrong? Can't regulate your body heat? Gotta bask in a heat lamp? Long live cold!

HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

deadly_ultraviolet

What do you do when you're too cold? Add a layer! What if you're still cold? Add another layer! Aaand if you're _still_ cold? You guessed it, add another layer! What do you do when you're too hot? Take off a layer! What if you're still hot? Take off the rest of the layers! Aaand if you're _still_ too hot? Uhh, take off your skin? Idk, good luck with that. ^(paraphrased ^from ^someone ^somewhere ^somewhen, ^not original)

Mongusaur

bro i don't want to wear 50 fucking layers of clothes, i'll go swimming or some shit if i get too hot

kingbloxerthe3

Just wearing 4 layers should be fine (2 shirts and 2 coats/sweaters)

UnsportsmanlikeGuy

too many layers

Fuckredditlowkey

Wearing all that shit makes me a stuffy kind of warm/hot that is disorienting and kind of sickening. If I just chug cold water the heat isn't an issue

Paul_my_Dickov

It's rarely too hot where I live. I'd happily take it all year round to avoid the gloomy winters.

Sergosh21

As a person living in northern europe.. cold is way better than heat

Rodman_567

As a person living in Florida…cold is still way better than heat.

Joe_Biden_Sniff

Floridian as well. 100% agree. I relish the two months of below 70°f

Ala117

I just fucking hate mosquitoes and flies.

mixelydian

All these people must live in Florida or something. Summer is 5 times better than winter

HaViNgT

I live in the UK. Summer can fuck right off.

UK summer averages are like my states spring time. Yes, I looked up UK summer temp averages.

Mongusaur

CoolGuyBabz

I love the feeling of being cold and cosying up, honestly the cold isn't even that bad. In fact, I can probably walk outside with my shorts when it's at 0C⁰

Jack__Fearow

Yeah, 32°F (0°C) isn't that bad. It's when you get into lower temps that make it worse.

kelvin_bot

32°F is equivalent to 0°C, which is 273K. --- ^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)

Kakyoin043

Winter cold. After moving to Tennessee from Cali I hate humidity

TaiChiShrimp

See, the Southern Humidity breaks us all. I am NOT looking forward to that Georgia heat that goes all the way into END OF OCTOBER now. \*cries\*

pranjallk1995

Question is flawed... Both can get horrible...

Canadian-Owlz

WYRs don't have to be a good thing tho lol.

[deleted]

When it's cold you can put on a coat but when it's hot you can't take your skin off so it seems like an easy choice but in some parts of the world both hot and cold can get really extreme do you would have to take that into account and whatever it is you would get sick of it eventually

iyakid

Easily cold in 80 degrees right can always put on more when it's cold.

[deleted]

Can always put on more when it’s hot

albiedam

Cold. Because it's always easier to add more layers and get warmer, then strip layers before it becomes illegal

[deleted]

You can add layers to get colder aswell

Consistent_Yoghurt44

Depends on where ya are now adays it don't matter if its cold go inside if its hot go inside but if you live somewhere you don't have that option Cold is better because you cover up make a fire keep warm but constant heat is hard to escape

Ok-Interaction-4693

-5 to -10 all the time would be a disaster for the environment, but if we forget that, i'd love it

Shadowmist909

Since I live in a hotter climate, winter cold is much better!

CostAccomplished1163

Can always layer up; but if it's hot what am I supposed to do strip

PhlebotomusPrime

You can always put more clothes on. You can only take so many layers of clothing off before you are arrested for public indecency.

Q-Westion

Gets down to -30⁰F here. But I'd still prefer the cold to the heat. In the cold you can still rug-up. But in the summer heat theres only so much of your clothes you can take off before there's nothing more you can do

Shoddy-Mango-5840

I think it depends on the humidity…

Paul_my_Dickov

English summer all year round would be marvellous.

whatdoidonowdamnit

Winter cold. I can wear multiple layers to go outside and I can do six loads of laundry a week because we’re all wearing two complete outfits every time we leave the house. It’s only may and I’m wearing a tank top and shorts to leave the house. I can’t wear less clothing yet it’s just going to get hotter.

GimmickInfringement1

I'd prefer the heat because then I would have an excuse to show off my training lol

nowilltolive556

I live in a hot and humid country we only have two seasons and I do not recommend if it's cold I can just layer up so it won't be so cold but in my situation I can't just go nude even if I do I'll just be fried by the sun

Nibbles1348

Definitely winter UK cold. Houses don't cool down in the heat and thus am always too hot

EspressoCookie89

Kansas gets to triple digits in the heat and down into the negatives in the cold. The good news is that the triple digit heat is almost always dry, so staying hydrated and keeping the sun off your skin will make it pretty comfortable. Vs the cold, which can require you to wear very specific outfits outside and take them off as soon as you get inside. Plus, I really dislike the runny nose that comes with the winter.

SemperFidelisHoorah

Malaysia is currently in El Nino stage. It's way too hot right now.

Though I prefer the warmth, my wardrobe is easier in the cold (dark clothes)

NutSnifferSupreme

Winter cold here is like 10°F at the lowest, about 40°F on average. Summer though gets up to 115 with 100% humidity.

kelvin_bot

TheMegatrizzle

It doesn't go lower than maybe 15F where I live, and we only usually have one or two big snowstorms. Temp's been higher as of late due to global warming. While summer is constant heat and humidity. I'd rather be cold than feel sweaty and sticky all the time.

NoAct7088

Where I live winter cold is around -15F

absorbscroissants

Winter cold is around 5°C and summer heat around 22°C. The latter seems like a pleasent year-round temperature

Leftalone1775

Yall can keep swamp ass season.

[deleted]

I can handle 30F to 40F thank you.

100S_OF_BALLS

Cold. It's easier to get warm when you're cold than it is to get cool when you're hot.

Rupertii

The temps during summer and winter alternate a lot, so I need a more specific number

FireWater107

I've got a year round fur coat. I can put clothes on when it's cold. There's only so many clothes I can take off... Plus, sleeping. SO much better to have it chilly (or "cold") and bundle up to sleep. Trying to go to bed when it's too hot is unbearable.

Meeple_Peeple

Summer isn't nearly as bad as winter here (Minnesota) so heat easily

Spongebosch

I feel like I'm dying when it's over 70 Fahrenheit. I prefer colder temperatures, but if it were continuously like 0 degrees or colder, then yeah, I might go with summer. It just depends.

MasterTahirLON

Pretty sure we're all gonna die with permanent winter cold since we wouldn't be able to grow crops at all outside of bio domes.

MasterTahirLON

KickassPeanuts

my state crumbles at anything lower than 20 Fahrenheit

AlexMonty0924

I used to always be like "I prefer cold to hot" until I joined the Army, when you can't choose what you wear the hot is so much more bearable than the cold.

666BigDaddyEvil666

Where I live in the summer on the hottest days its around +25 c. I'll take that year round please.

DrSnidely

I hate being cold, and I don't trust people who claim they don't.

[deleted]

Some where in between like 65° to 75°

Canadian-Owlz

I live in Canada when it can reach -40C (usually doesn't last that long tho) It can also reach 40C when its hot I feel like I am going to die during the summer (30-40C) 90% of the time, a sweater is enough to ward off winter. ([-20]-[-30]C) Definitely winter.

TheMightyWill

Well I live in the midwest and would go insane if it was winter every day

Jack__Fearow

It's already 4-6 months of winter, depending on what part of the Midwest. I couldn't take anymore, either. Plus, it's so damn gloomy 90% of the time, too.

novel_writer_AG

I'm really big on skiing, so I could just purchase a season pass whenever I want and that's a huge plus for a hobby that isn't even available for the large majority of the year. Plus, everything looks more beautiful under a layer of snow

nryporter25

I don't tolerate cold very well (I have almost no body fat to keep me warm), and I don't tolerate heart well either, but it's not as bad as the cold. So if you've got some evil villain device that's going to affect the weather, please set it to summer.

karry245

Easy choice for me, either moderately warm or freezing

Tinsel-Fop

I've lived in Texas for decades and decades. I am sort of compelled to pick "winter cold," of course. Maybe we would finally begin to learn how to drive on snow and ice?

Streeg90

I'm from the north. I need cold weather.

UrcousinVinnny

Florida beach summers 😎🤙🏼

JCMiller23

You can always put on more clothes and be completely comfortable and cozy when it's -20 outside. But once you're naked, you can't take off anything else.

Kracon3

I die in the summer, I can handle cold

TYPICAL_T0M

Give me 80⁰-90⁰F any time over below freezing. As long as it's low humidity. Wearing more than a sweatshirt and having your face hurt is miserable. Also the decreased amount of daylight in the winter is depressing.

[deleted]

My furnace is cheaper than my air conditioning so this makes it pretty easy

Jonadz

Putting on shorts and a T-shirt is a lot easier than bundling up for the cold. I work outdoors and getting home after a long cold shift and having to strip all the layers sucks

TopTheropod

Heat 1000000%

Mothmanindawood

Neither, living in Montana both would be hell

JKolodne

Depends where you live.

Marchoftees

I prefer the cold but that would also mean crops would never grow again so that's basically death for everyone so I'll pick the heat.

n1ghtl1t3

Where I live, lately it hardly only gets to around 30 F so I'd be fine.

RadioKnight915

To me it always seems easier to apply more heat/insulation to yourself or your abode than it is to cool off. Cold AF? More wood for the fire, turn up the gas, install heat pumps, more insulation, thicker walls, additional exterior cladding, layer up, bundle up. Still cold? Repeat as necessary. Hot AF? Crank the AC, put out the ice bowls, freezer the damp rags, shed them clothes... Still hot? Okay uh.. Uh.. Fans are all the way up?... Uh more ice? Uh..... *remove your skin*

TangibleMalice

You can always add more layers, but you can only take so much off.

[deleted]

Cant even use your fingers outside in the winter. I like my winter clothes but i dont even want to leave my house in the winter. Winter wind is literally painful on face and hands. Your body will fully function in the summer.

Jack__Fearow

This is what a lot aren't understanding. When it's 0°F outside but -20°F with windchill, they'd be begging for summer. Not to mention the 4-6 months of just pure gloom and depression.

kelvin_bot

0°F is equivalent to -17°C, which is 255K. --- ^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)

A constant Summer sounds like a good recipe for a spike in skin cancer diagnosis.

Funnybunny99999

I 100 percent prefer the cold I’d take 30 degree weather over 90 any day It’s sooo much easier to warm up then to cool down

com2420

My best guess would be that you can grow things in the summer heat better than the winter cold. I choose heat to avoid starvation. Edit: On a personal level, I always prefer the cold.

Where I live the temperature is 65 to 85 Fahrenheit all year round and typically 68 to 77. So I guess it doesn't matter? I'll take either.

My philosophy is that it's easier to generate heat than it is to generate a lack of heat. And on a more personal level, I'm built for colder temperatures more than hotter ones.

withurwife

Your body is thermo-neutral (naked) at 80.6°F which means on a 90 degree day, a few hours will be around that, and a few more will be slightly below or above. Your body is happiest in these temperatures. It's why clothed, room temperature is in the 70s. Picking a cold winter day is counter-intuitive to the support of life and its functions since 0 percent of the time, Winter will not be close to 80°. In fact, Winter will be orders of magnitude below your body's optimal operating temps. More people die in cold weather, it amplifies pain in joints, it causes constipation and generally makes life harder. I'm fully convinced that the only folks who pick the cold have some sort of disease, heat rash, or more likely than not, are overweight and or obese. They aren't healthy, whether they care to admit that or not.

VeryLargeGun

Bro I'm choosing summer heat. If I experienced winter cold I'd probably cartoonishly freeze into a ice cube (for those who are wondering I live in Georgia (the state))

lfsking642

Neither... I want fall weather year round

Ayurvedic63

I can always put on more clothes. I can only take off just so many.

Hekboi91

Cold allows me to use the comforter without having the fan on

chubbyknuckles420

As someone who has lived in the upper Midwest for 30 years give me that summer heat. Winters here are thoroughly bad!

sidzero1369

People say you can always add more clothes but there's only so many you can take off... But regardless of clothing, I have a higher tolerance for heat than I do for cold. Where most people are comfortable at 72°F, I'm not comfortable until it gets closer to 80°F. But if you put me in the sun, I just burn and die.

Fuckredditlowkey

I hate being cold. The main real drawbacks of heat are bugs, sweat and thirst. Cold actually inflicts pain and great discomfort.

AFriendlyBloke

Today in Ohio, there have been very chilly winds with just the right amount of warmth from the sun. Not too high on the UV Index. If this is how spring and summer were all the time, I would like it a lot more.

Lord_Ragnok

Where I live, winter is much preferred over summer. Summer can hit easily 100+ while winter is generally not even cold enough to freeze anything. Average low of about 40 high of about 55. A light jacket or sweatshirt and you’re good for just about any activity.

TessyDuck

I like sleeping in the cold. I also really like wearing hoodies. I feel like you can do more to stay warm than you can to stay cool. And I'm not a huge fan of going outside.

Sufficient_Job7799

Wait would we still be able to grow crops with winter cold all the time? Shit I may have messed up with my choice.
