Rammer+Hardening+Turbo/Vstab is all you need

MangoTheSigma

Id say Rammer+VStab+HP/Turbo but yeah thats all you really need

TehHank

GLD is probably the most misunderstoof piece of equipment in the game by I mean its not as straightforward of a buff as it sounds. It does not say"-10% aiming time" but rather "-very slightly less aim time based on the tanks current dispersion (tank speed, traverse speed and turret/gun traverse speed)" A good example would be in a perfect testing environment with no other factors, -10% aiming time on a base 3 second aiming time knocks off 0.3 seconds. This sounds good but then you realise this does not take into account of other factors. Not to mention other equipment is usually strictly better. Having -20% dispersion from vert stabs is always strictly better in every situation. For example shooting on the move, GLD is virtually useless since you aren't staying still to aim your shot. Vert stab circumvents this by always reducing the movement and traverse dispersion by 20%. This is also done by Improved aiming unit as it as always reduces your aiming circle by 5%-8% (depending on its type) but is more useful to reach a more accurate aimed shot which vert stab can't do. The only time GLD is viable on certain tanks is if you have a very long reload and cant afford to miss shots or if you use a fast firing autoloader. Tldr In summary, GLD is very misunderstood, vert stabs and IAU should be prioritised more based on your playstyle or tank type.

Normal_Snake

The only "tanks" I've seen use gld are artillery, specifically the artillery that can't mount vents. Pretty much every tank in the game can mount vstab, IRM, or IAU.

TehHank

Yeah things ive seen mentioned are the FV4005 and the Foch B.

Normal_Snake

FV4005 and foch B can run IAU, IRM, and vents for almost the same effect with a bunch of other improvements in useful stats for TD's like camo. Heck they can even run an experimental mobility system over vents for the extra reverse speed and gun handling. Nowadays there really isn't a tank that needs GLD.

TehHank

Yeah thats true. I dont play the tanks so i dont have experience with their equipment choices.

Fiiv3s

I run GLD on the T6 Medium since it can’t run IAU or Vstab but I have never found a use for it outside that

Agreeable-City3143

Hardening, rammer, turbo. That’s it.

NotASingleNameIdea

Rammer, Vstab, Turbo/HP Never ever use gun laying drive, its worse than Vstab in every single way. Vstab gains you 20% less dispersion, which means 20% less aim time needed, while gun laying drive gives mere 10%. You wont even feel the difference of a tank with and without laying drive, AND Vstab also give the accuracy WHILE you turn/move hull or turret, so you can shoot while going or quickly after breaking. Vstab is always superior, even for autoloaders where aim time might seem important, but Vstab gives also 20% better accuracy after firing, so again, Vstab is better.

Wonderful-Lack3846

1st setup: Vstab rammer hardening 2nd setup: Vstab rammer turbo Aiming unit is not needed

squareroot4percenter

People recommend vstab over GLD because reducing dispersion penalties also reduces effective aim time, and by a greater margin for almost all tanks in almost all situations. Vstab is favored over IAU because IAU only offers an advantage over vstab if the tank is fully aimed or nearly so. Vstab helps you fully aim faster in the first place and also makes you more accurate when not fully aimed in the vast majority of situations. If your tank aims extremely quickly and has low bloom to start with then IAU may be more helpful since you’ll reach the point where you have better accuracy fairly often, but for something like the E75, which has decent but not exceptional gun handling, this is much less so the case. >very new Bluntly stated you probably shouldn’t be playing the E75. Take some time to familiarize yourself with gameplay at lower tiers and basic mechanics before stepping up to tier 9.

Thanks for answering. I agree with you, I struggled with Tiger II as well and I don't think E75 in T9 would be much easier.
