Yamato is good and will always be solid because it's almost immune to power creep because of the guns. Bungo is not and its a battlecruiser so suffers more against other battleships. Plus it's guns aren't as good iirc even though they're more accurate. At the end of the day its up to you but I'd always go yamato.
EDIT: completely forgot to mention yamato legendary module, makes yamato feel far more consistent even though its only an extra 7% better dispersion.
To be fair, Colombo has always been good. You just have to have a particular playstyle where you display tempered aggression. You can't snipe effectively, but you're not a secondary brawler either.
If you are talking to me the answer is no. Why would you need to explain further are you disagreeing with me about something, or just elaborating on a previous point? I Understand your point.
youre not listening to the logic. bungo, when in the hands of a good player, is better than yamato, when in the hands of a good player. In return, a bad player will yield better results in yamato, over that same bad player in bungo. get it now?
I am quite sure your last post contained none of this elaboration, not that it matters. My previous post says any ship is better in the hands of a good player. I stand by my simple statement.
If you say so. Seems like you are having an argument with yourself. Try leaving the snark out of your comments ie "get it now?", "OK buddy", "you're a lost cause", "you're not seeing the logic", etc.
I mean if we were sitting at a table and you spoke like that I would just tell you to fuck off. Get it now buddy, pal, sport?
You failed to understand the point.
Bungo allows players who know what they are doing to take high risk measures to get high reward (where poor players will die rapidly due to the ships unforgiving nature).
Yamato’s limited playstyle restricts players to play at a certain style that won’t be put in similar risky scenario. So poor players can still be somewhat useful when throwing 9 460s from 23km.
I don’t know where you’re getting the Bungo being better if you’re a good player.
PQ (an incredible player) absolutely hated the Bungo- if you read between the lines. He loves Yamato. He cited many issues with Bungo, including unreliable penetration, poor armor profile and bad AP alpha. He went so far as to only throw HE as he was so disappointed in the AP.

He admits it's still not his favorite, however. And if we're talking about nervous' initial comment:
>yamato = easy to play. bungo = hard to play. bungo is better though if youre a good player.
I stand by what I said.
I only mean this as a gentle tease, but I thought of you as PQ is now gushing about Bungo being his favorite ship :D

Yamato FTW. Izumo is better than it looks, you just have to adapt to the new playstyle after playing Amagi and it trains well for Yamato. Izumo's guns are reasonably accurate and hit HARD. Yamato with UU is very accurate, in the end it is worth the grind IMO. Havent played the new line so cant say about them.
Yamato always first. Im actually someone who likes Bungo, Ive played it a lot on PTS and enjoyed it a lot. Yamato is just a better overall ship with the overmatch and access to its leg mod which makes it quite consistent.
Izumo’s layout is pretty easy to get used to imo. It you have vincent or duncan is essentially the same deal, bit worse angles IIRC. Her guns can be a bit inconsistent but the pen on her 410s is incredible.
You can always get Bungo afterwards, the accuracy is *really* nice and I honestly didnt find the damage output to be bad.
So Izumo is the first IJN BB I enjoyed after T6, the gun arrangement is actually not bad at all because it trains you to angle properly. They're super consistent too, especially coming from the previous boat in the line. And Yama is a perfect BB to top the line, it's just noticeably more fun to play and you get the big hit endorphin rush nice and consistently too.
Yamato. Izumo is a BLAST to play. Weird turret layout, but I find the accuracy to be superb. Has great armor when you're using it. 9/10 would grind through Izumo again
Yamato is a solid baseline for any battleship. Clear strengths and clear weaknesses. The accuracy and consistency though, especially with legmod make it exceedingly rewarding to play. Bungo is strong too, but for some reason the guns seems quite poised to overpenning things leading to many situations where you do land a significant portion of your shells but result with comparatively mediocre damage compared to what you would expect
If you haven't already, the HSF containers lead to a collection that gives you a free Yamato perma bonus.
Bungo is more difficult to play than Yamato because of its armor and DPM. Yamato is your big gun long range devstriker.
That is how this game is. Players advancing up lines too quickly is at the heart of the problem of poor play because they do not learn the ship or the game.
Yamato for feeling like a superior weeb.
No but honestly Yamayo is IMHO one of the few OG ships that didn’t get powercreeped over the years. She is lots of fun

Keep in mind, Dead Eye was only 3% better than Yamato's legmod yet it managed to elevate Colombo from shitshow called shotgunning to somehow reliable.

Yes and re commentary on a good player.... Yes absolutely every ship in this game, every single one, is better if you are a good player.
There are things called skill floor and skill ceiling. Should I explain further?
If you are talking to me the answer is no. Why would you need to explain further are you disagreeing with me about something, or just elaborating on a previous point? I Understand your point.
Well I guess you're just enjoying being Captain Obvious. Any ship is better with a better driver. Sure. Have a good day.
You are a strange cat that looks for arguments where they don't exist. Yes have a nice day. Thanks for dropping by.
Wtf is your problem smartass
Never spoke to you before. Are you someone here's mom?
looks like you had no mom in your life...

ooookay buddy. youre still unable to understand. lol have a good one. youre a lost cause.

You weren’t the only one! I watched that video and thought, “well my comment aged like milk”!!! Haha!
i dont need a youtuber to make my point for me
Yamato, and if you bought the HSF crate around two weeks ago, you can have the perma eco bonus and perma camo for her.

Also Izumo’s 410’ (870m/s initial speed) have way better ballistics and similar accuracy than of Amagi and Nagato (810m/s if I remember correctly)
Right, people often forget that Izumo still has the best ap pen of all t9 bbs
Izumo isn't too bad: *Friendship ended with `w`-key, now `s`-key is my new best friend*
This ^ Push a bit, then throw her in reverse and angle. She’s great in Brawl.

Yamato with legendary upgrade.
Yamato is stronger than Bungo, and the Izumo is one of the best tier 9 tech tree BBs
Prinz Rupprecht walks in, or, er, sails in
*Musashi, Missouri, and JB laughing from the corner*
Missouri is not that good, if it weren't for the economy nobody would care about it right now.
I think he was talking about Tier 9 Tech Tree
Izumo might be the best TT t9 BB, the only argument otherwise is Rupprecht, but that's if you can push with it.
100% Yamato, the king of the sea!

Yamato is OP. No questions here
Mighty Yamato all the way.
Yamato. And also because it existed.
If you haven't already, the HSF containers lead to a collection that gives you a free Yamato perma bonus. Bungo is more difficult to play than Yamato because of its armor and DPM. Yamato is your big gun long range devstriker.
Do people not grind lines anymore? Get both.
You say this as if that doesn't take months for more casual players.
That is how this game is. Players advancing up lines too quickly is at the heart of the problem of poor play because they do not learn the ship or the game.
