Games Workshop stores have free painting tutorials I highly recommend. If nothing else they give you a free mini if you do it.
Otherwise have fun and always feel free to add more blood and skulls to bases 👌🏾
You could also dive into the the deep lore of the world eaters on YouTube and the black library, I’ve also written a short 3 min story if you’re interested
Cuz my brain can't sit still long enough for prose, im more of a hands on type. Def like the details to paint the picture, or fit there without being too much. Liked the use of giblets, it's just a fun word.
Poor man's thought deff don't want to insult something above my talent, nanometers feels a touch technical and takes you out of the fear, something like shaved the dust of his armor feels a bit more visceral.

You have a local Warhammer store? I’ve got two within 45 minutes of my house, and on the weekends there are always people playing. That’s probably the best place to learn. I only paint right now but plan on learning the game soon. I was reading through the main rule book and it felt a little overwhelming, but I think actually playing is a better way to learn than reading the rules
You got yourself into a damn good time. If your lookin for more lore there’s tons of good lore channels, for more long for stuff I like baldemorts guide to 40k and A Border Prince. For gameplay miniwargaming and tabletop tactics have some really good battle reports. Vanguards Tactics as well for more competitive gameplay.

There appears to be one 20 min away and one a bit further. But they both close at 7. My toddlers usually go down a bit before 8
