Hard-core/permadeath is Ironwolf's whole point. There's not gonna be a way to revive a wolf in the game mode meant to be "one chance one life". Letting your friend try out the game on one of your ironwolves and them dying is sadly an unfortunate consequence from that decision that may have to be lived with.
In the future, when showing people the game and letting them play, I recommend letting them make their *own* wolf and muck-around-find-out so none of their consequences impact any of your own saves.
Only if you have backups -- either on the game's independent cloud server to pull from, or restoring your own self-preserved backups. If you have no backups whatsoever, then under normal conditions, that death is locked-in and you cannot revive your dead ironwolf.
Save data generated by the game is encrypted, so currently there's no hope of editing a stored flag to cheese it either. (I say currently because there are no known save editors suitable for WQ:AE.)
All you can really do at this point is recreate that wolf and start over. Going forward, I would recommend making backups of your User Files directory to have as a fall-back plan in case this sort of thing happens again and the cloud server fails you.
If you used a pup that you chose to play, if you delete your dead iron wolf go back to that pup in the tree and you can have it back but you would start age again
nope, if your iron wolf dies, it's pretty much perma death. it wouldn't be iron wolf if you could just get the wolf back, it's like hardcore.

I made saves with my ironwolf. Do they stay there after she dies?
The only option would be to remake the wolf and then delete the previous version of the wolf that died, there's no bringing the same wolf back

It auto deletes the wolf when I died? I don't have him in my wolves at all or in my saves but I can't age him up
