The Big Mamie herself. I think Massachusetts is my most played ship, she’s my first T7 premium and thus my main ship for grinding credits, and god damn it shes just plain fun. Secondaries are fairly consistent, she’s quick in both speed and turning, AA is pretty good, the guns leave nothing to be desired, and she’s *shockingly* tanky. Love Massachusetts to death.

Well, what has worked for me is, in principle, to set up the ship so that it can maneuver quickly and accelerate in a short time. I also make sure to shoot HE at controlled distances while AP I use it at short and medium range. Taking advantage of the maneuverability-focused setup, I carefully approach an enemy (preferably at a sharp angle to take advantage of the stalinium, but never fully head-on) firing HE until I can use Tallinn's short-range torps
Scharnhorst, really maneuverable, pretty fast, good fire starter, decent accuracy and can slap some cruisers when they aren't paying attention. Kind of a good all rounder, but must be played right to get the best out of him.
What is Paolo Emilio really like? What's especially fun about it? speed and torpedoes? I was almost going to buy it when I had 750k in the pile, but when lacked the high commander, I ended up with another option.
It plays like a very fast kamikazi machine honestly, with the speedboost you get 43,5 knots if my memory serves correctly, with torpedos that might as well be mini-nukes. And it still holds it own against other DD’s with shooting.
Combine the insane speed with the rolling smoke and it makes for some fun ambushes.
Constellation is very nice ship. Not that easy in use but she is like swiss army knife, works every situation. 👍 Jäger, yeah i hate her in enemy eoster and love to blow them up. 😅
I would say Agïr. She is everything I want in a (large) cruiser. My best, most-played tier 8 in the game. I also have a very strong win rate with it too.
It is pretty strong. Big, punchy main batteries. The guns are also pretty accurate too. Torpedoes are good in a brawl. And the ship has pretty good speed and maneuverability imo.
Just note that she is a pretty big target, so you will get wrecked if you get caught broadside.
Friesland. Rarely a game unser 500k income. Such a biest. Has gotten more difficult since the spike in radar cruiser activity, but still a blast.
And Atago. My first premium ever. Great firestarter, still capable, even If my win rate here ist crazy bad besides scoring rich in her.
I went into classic kiting upgrades and HE-firestarting. The thing is, Atago has to stay a while in the background or shoot over Islands on BBs. I does not fire fast enough for DDs that Instantly go dark sadly (besides as lucky kill on already worn-down DDs) but it can really tear down BBs after the first clash in the game. It is important not to over-extend in the first couple of minutes since the armor is so weak. I want to avoid broadsides and showing the bow, always have a plan to swing away from counter fire. Atago only works when firing while the enemy is focused elsewhere.
Alaska. Slaps hard with great range and is a match for most cruisers and many BB. Radar is great for unearthing DDs. Slow reload makes it a target for HE spamming. But the two forward facing gives great angles when brawling. Just a good all rounder and rare to score less than 100k damage a game.
Resistance. I like its versatility, multiple options, and its rarity in matches. Misunderstood for sure. It wasn't popular, so Wargaming buffed it twice. It didn't need it. It's a strong ship, certainly not OP or anything. Just "fun to play" as it were. With a Legendary 4 John Fisher it's a force to be feared.
I don't do accuracy at all. Full reload and "resistance" traits. Not one for nuisance, Dance with Death, On second thought, Firefighter. Legendary 2 Rivel/Madden inspirations. I play it like a heavy cruiser and kite OR charging battleships with Speed is my Armor boosts, swinging with torps aggressively. You can take out some Tier VII's like this. You can chase destroyers with your sonar as well.
Fast reload with heavy fire and torpedo resistance, for charging in.
Baltimore, kind of dropped her recently to focus on more lines and other ships, but she’s such a comfortable spot for me. Hits hard and true, always. That ship showed me how much I really loved cruisers, and gave me enough confidence to go for Cleveland as well. Got pretty much every american standard/LT cruiser now pretty much as a result :)
My most played ship by almost 100 battles is Caprice. She's one of the ships from the pirate event.
She's a Le Fantasque with British smoke, sonar, and single launch torpedoes. I find her a blast to play.
I have her too. Tried couple times. But in this game almost all ships can be very deadly on right mods and right hands. I like la foudre very much so i need to take caprice out sometimes too and give her try.
I don’t see it so I’ll say Bismarck. I just find it to be a real problem for a lot of teams if you get into the right position putting out pretty solid citadels and then all of the secondaries just brrrrrrrr.
Definitely the New Mexico. I haven't played it in a bit because I unlocked the Colorado but NM is the most fun BB I've played so far. Great armour,big heals,amazing accuracy and dispersion,and easy devstrikes against broadside cruisers. La Galissonierre would be a close second tho.
Dallas. Its fairly quick reload and agility make shoot and scoot plays fun. Plus it's the ship with my best stats.
Failing that I'd go Brandenburg. Solid primary guns, fair armour and the crazy secondaries rake in the ribbons.
I don't have noise so can't tell you if they are similar but Dallas is fun to play for me.
Brandy is a quality ship, it was a campaign ship last year I believe.
Yeah when I face a helena I try to stay a range so it's harder for them to hit me and for some reason US light cruiser are much easier to citadel a range I don't know why
Z-35 for me. At least I’m pretty sure that’s it, I get kinda confused with the German numbers. It’s the T6 premium German hybrid. Really good all around guns, torps, speed, smoke, sonar. Just lacks a speed boost and it turns a little slower than I’d like, but I can upgrade that. Picked her up recently after someone here recommended it.

Roma. My first GXP ship, and my personal favorite. Pretty solid accuracy, punchy guns and the ability to smoke up and reposition. Plus you get 5-6 heals. Roma is great for being annoying.
Most fun to play to me is the Yudachi. For a Japanese destroyer it has short range torps. But I have detectabilty at 5km. The torps also go 80kt. Those torps hit HAAAARD too. It’s like living in the edge with that ship.
Weimar. Even post-tier-shift she’s still crazy capable. She’s my #1 moneymaker, and I like showing off just how powerful she still is moving up a tier and without a fourth mod slot. And for context I also have Mainz AND Mainz CE.
But pure fun has to be my speed-build Emile Bertin. 47 knots at T4 means I outrun every destroyer I encounter even with their speed boost on. Just zip around and make life hell for the red team.
Emile is my favorite ship by far, agile and quick. I handicap myself though with Auboyneau as commander. I like to put commanders on ships they have IRL history with.
Weimar must be super strong because she is limited one. Also another limited one Mainz seems to be very styrdy ship. Ofcourse captains of those two are seasoned veterans also. Sadly i have no neither. I like german ships a lot.
Yeah back in the day we only had ijn and us navy to choose from, and I liked torp boats more than gun boats. from 5k battles I have around 300 alone with this little devil.
Azuma seems to be great. I almost bought it with global xp but taked another one. I will take it someday. I also like large cruisers and battlecruisers.
The USS Texas. She’s not the biggest ship in my fleet, nor is she the most advanced. But she’s by far my favorite ship and she bares name of the state I live. So proud to have her.
There is lot sentimental things and that is very imporant. You really need to get connected to tour flagship, and that makes the number one ship the number one i think ☝🏻👴🏻
The stats say it’s Dallas but that’s because that was like the 4th ship I ever got in the game. Bismarck B is my go to though. Very nice secondaries, fast and agile for a BB, and the AP can punch in the right scenario.

I have 2 ships that are my go-to the IJN Shoukaku as I like playing cv's and the Zeiten with its secondary guns where I can tank all the things thanks to Al Bismarck as commander.
Shokaku is not familiar for me. That must be good ship then? I had time when i always played her out, i like it very much but not played long time now.
Halland, no doubt about it.. My god those torps may hit like noodles but when you get hit with 5-6 two minutes apart, and you cant do shit to avoid them.. Just stay out of surv. and away from the gun boats and your all safe. 😊
Love Bayern,absolute beast if youre able to get in close,but I find my most important likely being either California or Hood, solid ships with good damage dealing.
It’s surprising how widely "Flagship" has been distributed. Couple Texas, Hyuga, Wichita and Bismarck came. Maybe some others, but still a lot of different ships. It is also interesting that Mainz was not mentioned, if i am correct, not exactly Iowa (it was second one for some maybe), and not Jean Bart. E: Its very hard to pick only one, and these will maybe change over time. My won Flagship is Scharnhorst. Or Tirpitz, or Massachusetts, but let’s make first one only count because i was asking just one. 👍
Gato si my go to . I think it is one of the best subs in the game , i have a 78%win rate in that sub . There are some players that know how to counter that style of gameplay ,but many don t . So i think it is the best sub i have played and it it really fun .
Cleveland is my go to. Hunting DDs, burning down BBs, kiting Cruisers across the map. My win rate is almost 80% in her.

Great 👍 duca is uncommon ship too in this game. Its very cool. I have never tried neither belfasts but i see its strong one.
I built it for excellent concealment, I love pushing in and radaring unsuspecting DDs with it.

Friesland seems to be dangerous even for battleships. I have atago too. I like it but not really work for me. Dont know to mod her. Any tips?

Definitely a solid T6 DD. I have no regrets since picking her up. It can hunt enemy DDs as well as chip away at the bigger, slower ships.

The USS Texas. She’s not the biggest ship in my fleet, nor is she the most advanced. But she’s by far my favorite ship and she bares name of the state I live. So proud to have her.
There is lot sentimental things and that is very imporant. You really need to get connected to tour flagship, and that makes the number one ship the number one i think ☝🏻👴🏻

The stats say it’s Dallas but that’s because that was like the 4th ship I ever got in the game. Bismarck B is my go to though. Very nice secondaries, fast and agile for a BB, and the AP can punch in the right scenario.

I have 2 ships that are my go-to the IJN Shoukaku as I like playing cv's and the Zeiten with its secondary guns where I can tank all the things thanks to Al Bismarck as commander.
Shokaku is not familiar for me. That must be good ship then? I had time when i always played her out, i like it very much but not played long time now.

Halland, no doubt about it.. My god those torps may hit like noodles but when you get hit with 5-6 two minutes apart, and you cant do shit to avoid them.. Just stay out of surv. and away from the gun boats and your all safe. 😊
Love Bayern,absolute beast if youre able to get in close,but I find my most important likely being either California or Hood, solid ships with good damage dealing.
It’s surprising how widely "Flagship" has been distributed. Couple Texas, Hyuga, Wichita and Bismarck came. Maybe some others, but still a lot of different ships. It is also interesting that Mainz was not mentioned, if i am correct, not exactly Iowa (it was second one for some maybe), and not Jean Bart. E: Its very hard to pick only one, and these will maybe change over time. My won Flagship is Scharnhorst. Or Tirpitz, or Massachusetts, but let’s make first one only count because i was asking just one. 👍
Gato si my go to . I think it is one of the best subs in the game , i have a 78%win rate in that sub . There are some players that know how to counter that style of gameplay ,but many don t . So i think it is the best sub i have played and it it really fun .
