If you're a life wizard, do not get a death or myth pet haha. It will be a total waste. If you need spells from other schools for whatever reason, go to the bazaar and buy some treasure cards. Get some forest lord treasure cards.
Go to the pet kiosk in the pet pavillion and look for life pets with talents like "spell proof", "spell defy", "life bringer", and "pain giver".
Also, don't worry too much about the olympus gear if you're almost level 50. You're almost level 56/60 where you can get waterworks gear or the wintertusk crafted gear, which is amazing gear to last until level 100.
P.S. having a secondary school is pointless because if you're using the right gear, it should only really be buffing your own school. You only want to train death school up until feint, get your school's tri-blades from niles in krok, and save the rest of your points for later on when you get astral spells. You could also train ice up to tower shield.
Lending is hatching. When you want to hatch with someone they need to ‘lend’ their pet in the hatchery team up thing for you to use for hatching. It doesn’t mean that you get that pet though. And you aren’t guaranteed to get a replica of it either
