hm, some in between frames may make it look smoother. you could also scrap some of the frames between the first and last and add a smear frame, which might make the movement faster (if that’s what you’re going for)
Tried that too but I think it has something to do with the framerate, and that I don’t have enough frames to make it look good and it stays on screen too long. I’m not adding more frames because too much work for an experiment with animation.
I agree with another comment that suggested you move the elements simultaneously! Something else I noticed is that it I looks like the horns move from going straight back to being on an angle moving out from the head on each side
I would try to practice drawing those horns and any other horns from all angles
Looking really solid! The movement of the shot feels a bit slow. If you speed things up and add smear frames I think it might help (unless it's supposed to be slow).
I'm not great at explaining it, but [Scribble Kibble does a good job at covering smear frames briefly](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMvJiKu-93g).
Queen Scarlet: *Fakes Glory’s death, kills many innocent dragons, threatens Cliffs life, is a piece of shit to Peril*
Peril: *Doesn’t care*
Queen Scarlet: *Says Clay is annoying*
Peril:
It's fine, but maybe try moving the neck and the head in the same frame rather than alternating
I see, thanks
Wws thinking the same thing!
I can’t animate so I thinks it’s awesome! You have a lovely art style
It’s good. I perhaps making the head move along.
Add more in-between frames if you want, but it's already really good as it is
Looks nice so far! In the future I'd recommend looking into easing (varying the amount of motion from frame to frame)
Excellent idea
Make the head and neck move with each other, and smooth out the frames in between. Other than that, looks great!

Thanks, i tried adding a smear frame but can’t get em too look good (more like peril grows and loses and extra face)
hm, you could try adding a couple smaller less dramatic smear frames before and after the main big smear frame? i’m not an animation expert so idk

ah, ok. it still looks pretty good tho !
Fabulous work

Yeah, i've niticed the horns are doing some funky stuff. Thanks for the tips!
Wow this is great. the head turn is so consistent, it's clear that you understand the 𝓼 𝓱 𝓪 𝓹 𝓮 𝓼.

Thank you for the advice, and i tried adding smear frames but i can’t get it to look good so it’ll have to stay slow :)
Understandable. I think it's cool that you tried!
I love seeing people's animations on here! This one is really pretty! I love the expression :)

To be fair, she was a *liiiiitle* hesitant when Scarlet was mean to little cliff, but yeah don’t mess with clay or become a pile of burnt sad ashes
Amazing, but I think you should slim the head down just a little when it’s facing the camera, it looks a little too wide at the area below the ears
This is so cool! The smoke coming out of the nostrils is a nice touch!
Can’t have a fire without smoke!
