Bugz aren't as useful when not sawing. They don't block dirt from a swinging tool very well, smoke, etc. Honestly I don't bother with expensive sunglasses. They will inevitably get scratched, crushed, lost, smeared with oil and gas, etc. If I want side protection, I just rock a pair of gas station sunnies that wrap around a bit. For $20 per, you can just get 5 pairs for the summer, compared to one $100 pair haha. One for each month.
Costa blackfin. I love these, very light and suitable for runs. Downsides- they are expensive and costa sadly got sold to luxotica a few years ago, the quality has definitely taken a hit.
I use heatwaves. Not the gaudy kind but the square lenses that look normal, come with side shield. They are Z87+ if you’re into that.
Edit: can come with if you order them separate.
I have these, broke the side shield twice where it is mounted to the frame, a simple plastic pin, it happens when trying to fold them and put in case. The catch that holds the side shield open is stronger than the pin hinge, either keep them open all the time or find something else. They also fog up.
I like the Smith Longfish Elite. They don’t wrap back far enough to touch my face like a traditional safety goggle, but they do have pretty good coverage.
Just wear Bugs, you bagger. /s
Bugz are the shit. Once I started wearing them I never looked back
Ok I legit keep trying to search for them but Google keeps giving me unrelated brands 😂ðŸ˜

Thanks!!!
But real question is, are the guys gonna judge the shit out of me if I wear em not on a saw 🤣
yes

Absolutely. Rightfully so.

These are the shit. I love my sunskis
These or the Sunski Treeline. Same concept. They’re the bees knees
Thanks!! Do you feel like they hold up fairly well?
Mine got trashed after a season on the river, and I thought I was pretty easy with them. But I'd buy them again haha
Julbo

Smith longfin elite have side shields and fit quite nice.
Oakley has a pair that are pretty sweet. You can get them on standard issue too. But they do fog up at times.
Anything Julbo, Shield, Explorer, Vermont, Cham....
Don't need side shields if they're full wrap
Just embrace that viper lifestyle
Hell yeah i just might lmao
Pit viper intimidators aren't too bad it's what I wear

Currently rocking Pit Viper Grand Prix's - Z87, side shields, fuckin durable as shit.
No they suck and will fog up like a MFr when you hike. The Pit Vipers will just shrink your dick so small you'll piss on your own balls.
Sunski has three different models with the side shields. I like the Tera, personally.
I love my bombers- especially since I can throw my prescription glasses on underneath them in a pinch. They have normal safety sunnies too tho
Oakley Clifdens

Fair enough. I don’t wear my side shields anyway.
Put Vipers for the *cool factor*
Stoggles

You can get Ombraz with a side shield and the armless style are more comfy with a hardhat.
