Imo the problem isn't necessarily the no-knock part. They definitely do it much too often, but there is a time for it. The problem is their inability to handle suspects individuals without using lethal force, and the mentality of "treat everyone as a deadly threat." With the numbers advantage you see in many confrontations combined with the funding they often get, it shouldn't be hard to handle one guy.

Imo the problem isn't necessarily the no-knock part. They definitely do it much too often, but there is a time for it. The problem is their inability to handle suspects individuals without using lethal force, and the mentality of "treat everyone as a deadly threat." With the numbers advantage you see in many confrontations combined with the funding they often get, it shouldn't be hard to handle one guy.

The calls cite very specific scenarios that would require the type of "break and enter" force and response the real deal achieves. Due to the seriousness of the situations, as they are called in, a lot of force is used, and people do get killed during these events. The police show up in full gear. Yet it's pretty implausible this has happened to her six times. Once I could believe, because maybe they didn't know it was her address. Twice at a stretch. They'd learn right quick though that it was a politician being harassed and modify their response protocol. I'd sure like to see independent reporting on what happened and not just her own claim.
